Demon Queen Rebirth: I Reincarnated As A Living Armor?! Chapter 480

Within the space above Seashore, inside a dark Divine Realm, a malicious divine entity began to tremble in fear, Xorkoch, the Demon God of Fervent Addiction, had clearly sensed the death of Borunidhan and then that of Vog'dromad.
"This is hopeless! In less than ten minutes two of us are gone! I have to escape…! B-But… all what I have built here…"
Xorkoch, the Demon God of Fervent Addiction governed the west area of Seashore.
He seemed to be a God that found pleasure in seeing others indulge in fervent addictions to certain things or acts.
However, the most famous and useful of them all were actual drugs, which he made his cult produce and sell to spread his "fervent addiction" to others, who would seek more of such drug made from parts of his monstrous body and slowly approach his cult to ask for more, becoming fervent addicted worshipers.
He was at fault for bringing drugs to Seashore, and the one who had provoked so many people to ruin their lives and fall into complete poverty due to them.
The malicious God took joy in bringing people's life to complete ruin and to see their damned faces become completely filled with addiction.
He took joy in making everyone addicted to his own body parts, which he made the drugs of.
The more addicted people he gathered, the more power and energy he would be able to make.
Through such things, he slowly spread his influence with his drugs… however, he was not a good fighter, if it wasn't obvious enough.
However, he had worked very hard for what he had now, and leaving it everything for these mere mortals who had such outstanding, ridiculous powers greatly infuriated this being.
"But I can't… leave my source of power… How will I… Agh! So frustrating… But there's nothing I can do, I have to escape now!" he thought.

Unlike the previous two Demon Gods who had died, Xorkoch had simply decided to abandon everything than risking his life fighting, he had no confidence in fighting against beings who had killed two Demon Gods who were stronger than him in just so little time.
He was an ageless being, he simply needed to go to sleep until all problems were to be resolved… and it was better this way, as he could save up energy too.
And so, he quickly ran away from his original position, traveling through the spatial layers with his Divine Realm, however, a few seconds afterward, the telepathic message of another Demon God came to him.
And this God was no one else than the other of the four Demon Gods, Ullmarauth, the Demon God of Mad Slaughter.
"Ullmarauth… You should be running for your life as well!" said Xorkoch, although he seemed intrigued about what this Demon God could have in mind to talk to him…
"Xorkoch! Are you really planning to run away?! After all the time we have spent making of this place our resource-producing factory?! All these years have been painstakingly trying to get more mortals to follow us, for years and years? Fight at my side! If we both join hands and use the Fragments we possess… There is a good chance of victory!" said Ullmarauth, trying to convince Xorkoch!
Ullmarauth, the Demon God of Mad Slaughter governed the east area of Seashore, he seemed to be a god who desired anything to indulge in a constant and mad slaughter.
Of course, if that were to happen most people would have noticed in Seashore… so he limited himself to form a cult of assassins and barbarian bandits, and often worked outside of Seashore, letting them invade nearby villages or towns for them to slaughter and violate the people inside, bringing him power through unleashing their truest maddening desires.

Sometimes he would also employ such organizations and cults to work as Adventurers and hunt monsters to make a living.
He was one of the less threatening Demon Gods because he mostly did not target Seashore itself, but his followers always originated from here… Of course, that he was the less threatening or not didn't matter to Ervas and Veronica, they would kill him regardless.
Xorkoch, however, didn't buy his act.
"I am not going to help you! Go die by yourself! We have never been friends or anything for me to trust you! Do you think I am stupid or something?!" roared Xorkoch, as he kept moving away.
Ullmarauth fell silent for a moment, as he suddenly began… to laugh!
"I see. So that's your position in the situation. I gave you a chance, Xorkoch, and you rejected it! Now, prepare for the consequences!" laughed Ullmarauth.
Xorkoch was suddenly weirded out by the strange words of Ullmarauth.
What was this idiot even planning?
CRACK… CRACK!
"Eh!?"
Suddenly, Xorkoch's Divine Realm began to crack and shatter open!
CRASH!
However, it was not Veronica or Ervas who greeted him… but Ullmarauth, who resembled a gigantic three-headed minotaur with a single crimson eye in each bullhead, muscular chest, and bull-like legs.
However, his entire body was being parasitized by Demon God-King Fragments, and his presence seemed completely different!
"W-What?! Ullmarauth?! How can you access my Divine Realm like that? You're not even a spatial god!" said Xorkoch, feeling shocked, as his body, which resembled a large Cannabis plant whose leaves were crimson-red and covered in eyes.
"Gahahaha! Xorkoch, I have been helped by a nice backer! A mysterious God that reallyyyy wants to deal with those two pesky mortals, if you don't cooperate, then I will make you do so!" laughed Ullmarauth, as he flashed towards Xorkoch, extending strange tendrils all over Xorkoch who tried to escape and fight back!
"Stop! STOOOP! GGRRYYYYYAAHHHH…!"
-----
Meanwhile, within a far away Divine Realm made of complete whiteness, an enormous bearded old man glanced at Seashore through the eyes of a Familiar Spirit he had modified, giving it the Cheat Ability of Clairvoyance he extracted from another Reincarnated Soul he had created alongside another group of beta testers of the Samsara System.
This group of reincarnated people were completely apart from Veronica's, and had been sent to another world different from Kritias… A group of them had died due to internal disputes, and instead of sending them against Veronica, he decided to convert them into puppet Familiar Spirits and use the Cheat Abilities he gave to them as tools.
He was not able to use these abilities on himself, but he had discovered that the Heroes he gave to if they were to be possessed by his soul, were able to form a bond with his senses, giving him the ability to use such Abilities.
Of course, for this to occur the souls needed to develop and live with the Cheat Abilities for many years, dozens of years for it to work properly and make the Cheat Ability "ripe".
Due to this, he was not able to simply create a ton of them and insert them into random souls…
"I still regret sending this first group of Reincarnated Souls, they're all going berserk in that world I sent them to… Well, at the very least, I can now use the Abilities I gave them and made them cultivate with their souls… My powers are limited to my divinity, but there are always some convenient turnarounds…" thought Hekaton.

Hazelsong: A LitRPG Novel
Release Schedule: I will be moving to a set release schedule as of 1/1/2022. A new chapter will be released every Saturday at Noon EST. If I have time that week for a second chapter, I will leave a note on the Saturday chapter and post the second chapter on Sunday at Noon EST. An up to date character sheet for the MC Erik will also be posted on Sundays at 12:15 PM. If life happens and I am for some reason unable to write that week, I will post a blank chapter giving you an update on where I am with my writing. Saturday Noon EST: First weekly chapter Sunday Noon EST: Second weekly chapter (if I have the time) Sunday 12:15 EST: Updated character sheet Synopsis: Years after surviving a deadly accident, Erik struggles to come to terms with his painful disability. When offered the chance to playtest the world's first full immersion VRMMO, he wants nothing more than to retreat back into his secluded life, until he learns what Hazelsong really offers. An escape from the pain. Hazelsong is a world of magic and adventure, a place where friendships are formed, loot is won, and glory and fame are there for the taking. While the threats feel real and the stakes are always high, there is only one thing Erik is really in danger of. Forgetting which world is actually real. Story Themes: Hazelsong is a LitRPG novel that not only explores the fictional world of a realistic online fantasy realm but the life of a man suffering in silence from chronic pain and PTSD due to a significant physical injury and disability. Mental health is an important subject and we all know at least one person in our lives who has or is dealing with some form of mental illness. I plan on putting my best effort forward to represent these illnesses in a fair and accurate manner. Not as a cheap plot device to help make the protagonist more unique, but to help paint an accurate picture for those of us who have been lucky enough to not have to suffer in silence. About the Author: I am Ash Durra, general video game nerd and a connoisseur of fantasy and sci-fi of all shapes and sizes. Needless to say, I am not a professional author (B.S. and M.S. in Education, 8 years teaching). After really getting into LitRPG novels over the past several years, I found my way to Royal Road, which has inspired me to use my spare time to begin writing a story of my own creation. As this is a hobby, I am not writing and posting chapters on any kind of specific schedule at the moment, though my goal is to post on average 1-2 chapters a week. I am incredibly excited to share this story with others as I write it, and I look forward to any constructive feedback about how I can improve in my writing.

Iron and Wood - A Tale Of Empire and Clans
For centuries, the Midlands had been split into fragments. A once glorious, united Empire has become a shadow of its former self. Unity has not returned, and not for the lack of trying. The greatest of these successor states were the Li Dynasty to the south, the rulers of old, and the Emerald Empire to the North, with its vibrant vitality. Unity is the end goal, and both will sacrifice anything to attain this elusive dream. For unity would surely solve the conflict that had long plagued this once prosperous continent. The Ironwood Clan was a prime player. Some would consider them the ones holding the reigns to the horse named 'Unification'. Iron and wood were the backbones of civilization; similarly, the Ironwoods were the backbones of the Northern Empire, and by extension, the people of the Midlands. Their methods, as questionable as they might be, had strengthened the North. Yet, were they enough? In the midst of it all, a young Ironwood who had lost his path must once again find his way. For the sake of his own wellbeing; for the sake of his clan; and for the sake of the Empire and its subjects. However, is he willing to sacrifice for the good of all? Is he willing to condemn some for the sake of others? Is he willing to make the right, albeit harsh, decisions? Only the heavens would know. Disclaimer: This is a work of fiction. Names, characters, businesses, events and incidents are the products of the author’s imagination. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, or actual events is purely coincidental. Additionally, any views and beliefs expressed by the characters are not the author's own. The story is also not an endorsement of any actions taken within. The 'profanity' and 'sexual content' warning tags are there to be safe (and to leave room for potential future changes), but for now these two things are not inside this novel. This is my take on 'cultivation', though it might be somewhat disconnected from the general idea of the genre. Release schedule: Two chapters a week. The cover was created using wombo art. While I believe that creations using the app are in the public domain, if that is not the case, I will take it down.

The Kodoku Game
In Japanese folklore, there once existed an ancient technique among alchemists for harvesting the strongest poison known to man. A poison so vicious, so horrendous, that a single drop could incapacitate an entire nation of humans, several times over. A poison so intense that a single drop could turn the tides of a war on its head. As potent as it appeared however, this poison could be harvested from the blood of a single insect alone- an insect the alchemist’s called the ‘Kodoku’. As lucrative as was attaining this poison however, the problem lied in identifying this insect- its appearance, shape and size changed from region to region and from continent to continent. Sometimes it took the appearance of a ladybug and other times a horned-beetle. In order to determine the identity of this special insect the alchemists came up with an ingenious method. They created an impregnable jar of clay out of the best sandstone they could find and placed hundreds of different insects into the same jar. The jar was made with such great mastery that it allowed no insects to escape and allowed no objects to enter. The laws of nature dictated that the insects would remain together in the jar forever. However, it turned out that as time went on, the insects’ hunger for food and power caused them to turn against each other- one insect ate another until only one remained. This sole insect contained a poison that far surpassed that of all the others and became stronger as it ate more and more insects. The alchemists at this point had succeeded in identifying the Kodoku and could extract it’s poison as long as they continued to feed it regularly. Although this folklore ends here, the actual story does not. One day, as the alchemists cheered in joy of having identified the Kodoku they so eagerly wanted, they forgot to close the lid on the very jar that was considered to be completely impregnable. This small gap was just large enough for the Kodoku inside to crawl out. Famished from not having been fed for weeks, the Kodoku ended up eating the very alchemists that nourished its growth until not even the bones remained. Yet, the Kodoku’s hunger didn’t seem to subside in the slightest. So it traveled to the next village and began eating whatever it could find there. Its poison made it unparalleled in strength and slowly but surely it began to dwindle down the population of the entire city. Yet its hunger only continued to grow. So it traveled to the next city over and ate all it could there. Very soon, the Kodoku couldn’t find any more food to eat. There was no one left to eat and no one left to spectate. So it stood there, by itself pondering what possibly was left to eat that could satiate its hunger. But there was one thing left that Kodoku realized it had never eaten. Itself.
