Magical Academy: Rise Of The Supreme Magic Craftsman Chapter 122

They only have two Basilisk Stones, so each of them could only try the forging process once.
Wallace tried to recall the detailed information about the stone. This Basilisk Stone was brittle during the infusing process, so if this stone was going thru forging process it must not be stopped at all cost and could only be continued or the stone would easily be shattered.
Unlike other materials where the magician could pause their work when they felt exhausted and continue at a later time, this item that they will be using have many requirements.
'The Basilisk Stone can boost the speed-casting of any fire-related spells. But it can only handle Grade 1 or Low Grade 2 structures. This man probably plans to create a Peak Grade 2 or might even be a Grade 3 by using some other means, since he looks so confident.
'I can only try that.' Wallace had made up his mind and proceeded to plan on creating his first magic structure for the first time after getting all his enhancements with the Cube and Divine Sense.
Too bad that the Pathfinder was not giving him a mission right now. Not even anything related to the international competition.
'Well, I guess the reason why I received those missions before was so I could be selected to participate here and have a chance to take the Cube with me. Now, I probably have to utilize it to reach the peak of my path.' Wallace pondered after realizing that the missions right now aren't easily given by the Pathfinder. Although there was no mission being provided at the moment, he believed that he just have to do something that will trigger a mission just like the previous advice of the Pathfinder.
Wallace reigned over his thoughts as he made up his plans to create an improvement of one of his already made magic structures.
Before Wallace had a vacation at his family's home, he hired the Golden Trident Group to enhance the security of his house in Tanza City.
With the money he spent for about 40 million credits, he received 5 combat automatons which he wasn't allowed to take apart and study, 8 mini defense turrets, 3 mana pulse barrier, 18 mana flux detectors, 20 mana-empowered guns, and a bunker being the last line of defense. This package of weapons was the best choice he had due to his already placed defenses. He had to complement them to his current defenses that has a touch of advanced technology with it.

That's right, one of his creations that was seen and even tested by the three representatives of Golden Trident Group during that time was an automated laser cannon.
It's destructive power made them curious and Wallace tried to hint them the simple magic structure it possess though they didn't seem to believe him. They even evaluated it as a Grade A Mana Artifact.
When he told them that it was just a simple light spells that were put together forming a very intense light, they dismissed it completely because of their limited understanding about compound magics.
This time Wallace planned to create a magic structure for his laser. A spell that was made of multiple Torch Spell put together. It was perfect for this stone and it's limitation. He only have to add an influence of the Mavis Prayer.
Also for this time, he would like to try something else or incorporate some new things with it's structure.
'Alright, I should try creating the magic formula now.'
Although his A.I. hadn't fully taken all the information he could get and was still downloading as much data as it could, the A.I.'s computing ability was still enough to test Wallace's theory. He wanted to improve the limit of his Mavis Prayer.
He grabbed the prepared Basilisk Stone and placed it on the Artifact Forging Box so he can start the infusion of his magic formula to the stone. As Van was busy doing his thing, Wallace covertly operated the A.I. to record his forging process.
He then took control of the Mana Gathering Formation and Mana Stabilization Array to start.
In many cases, the Magic Structures were infused to a Magic Crystal before it was forged to an artifact to become a Mana Artifact.
Aside from that, there was only about 40% of the known Mana Artifacts that required a specific materials like Basilisk Stone, Ancient Abyssal Glass or Jax Stone to be used as a vessel for a Magic Structure that acts as the core of the Mana Artifact.
Wallace and Van took exactly 10 minutes of infusion process before they stopped.
This is the time they had agreed upon. The two may have finished the infusion process in an earlier time but took their remaining minutes in order to check any shortcoming or validate the Grade of their Magic Structure.
The infusion process of magic formula to a crystal, or stone in this case, to become a magic structure would normally not consume a lot of time. It was due to the magic formula being inside the magician's mind so they just needed a strong mental force and mana manipulation skills to complete the infusion. Of course, it was related to their talent as well on how they easily visualized the formula and infuse them easily.

As both of them were outstanding students from their respective academies and was selected to even participate in an international event, it was normal that it wouldn't take that long compared to some students right now who were deemed to only be a fabricator of Mana Artifacts in some random shops or factories as their future job.
"So, let's use the Appraisal function of this Artifact Forging Box first." Van announced after noticing that Wallace had also finished.
"I don't mind."
"Alright, I'll let you check mine first. Here, have a look." Van said after activating the appraisal function. He gestured to Wallace to check the result showing in the box. It seems that he didn't want to tell it himself as Wallace may not believe it he let him check it.
"If you're doubting it, you can appraise it with your Artifact Forging Box or call for someone else to check it for us." Van said confidently and was even smirking at the 2nd-year student.
Wallace sighed and glanced at the result that the box was showing.

'Impressive. It seems like he was really prepared for this. Was he expecting that I'll return and challenge him like this for the spot?' Wallace couldn't help but think about it after checking Van's creation.
A Magic Formula is the Magician's Idea that was being used to become a Magic Structure that was then infused to a crystal or stone to be completed as a core of the Mana Artifact. Within this formula was a set magic spells imbued together.
Yes, these magic spells has their own formula. In short, the Magic Structure is a collection of Magic Formulas to form the heart of an artifact.
It was already impressive for Van to imbue 10 Magic Spells within aside from the Brain-Boost function.
It must be remembered that the Archon Series and the other popular magic structures normally possesses only 8 Magic Spells in it.
"Alright, do you still want me to check your magic structure?"
'Or just give up' It was left unsaid by Van. He felt that he was being kind to Wallace. He doesn't want to embarrass this junior that much so he kindly asked him instead.
Wallace was a bit speechless at this person's confidence.
"Well, we can try checking it." He finally said after finishing his review on Van's Magic Structure stone.
'Try?' Although he was proud of himself and his creations, he was still sharp at these kind of hints.
Van somehow realized Wallace's hidden message and he doubted it at first but after glancing at the result of the appraisal, he can only shake his head.
"You really..."

Wallace wasn't completely sure how Van managed to infuse those Grade 3 Magic Spells to the stone that was only capable of accommodating Grade 1 or 2 spells in normal forging process. But he has some idea and it was probably something similar to his Mavis Prayer that uses layering method.
"Alright, I guess we have to seek someone else's assistance."
As soon as Wallace said this, his Divine Sense that was subconsciously activated had felt Troy's presence near them.

The Dreamside Road
Five years after the world fell into chaos, a treasure of artifacts is up for grabs. The relics of the Dreamside Road offer a power that could help rebuild or annihilate what remains. Orson Gregory is an adventurer for hire, but hunts this treasure for answers, not glory. Enoa Cloud’s late aunt helped hide the Dreamside Road, but following in her aunt’s supernatural tradition offers her as much peril as power. Together, Orson and Enoa battle a magic-obsessed militia, clash with a host of rivals, and face constant adventure on their journey to find the Dreamside Road. *Updates Monday and Friday The Dreamside Road is now on TopWebFiction! Vote so people know this exists. _____________________________________ NOTE: The Progression tag applies specifically to Enoa. Also, fair warning, that element doesn't enter the story until she begins her studies. Content: Main characters range in age from teenagers to people in their thirties and older, but it will not contain gratuitous violence or explicit sexual content. It also won’t shy away from implication, anything to make this story and its world feel more real. Characters will freely allude to potentially triggering topics, including living with a disability, facing terminal illness, coping with trauma, surviving societal destabilization, and the consequences of bigotry. At its most intense, the Dreamside Road is a hard PG-13. Worldbuilding: This is not a story with a lot of early exposition scenes, conveniently explaining ‘magic systems’ and political dynamics. Readers will learn, progressively, as the characters do. This story/world has a ‘magic system’, or rather, a set of systems, but the effort to quantify and understand the truth of the setting plays a role in the backstory, as well as in some character motivations. In that same vein, not every character has a firm grasp on the nature of their world, and not every piece of dialog from every character should be taken as entirely truthful Worldbuilding. Also, this isn't the softest Sci-fi. There are at least some basic explanations given for various elements, but Royal Road does not give me a spectrum to choose from. Given the choice between hard and soft, let's just say The Dreamside Road won't be cited in any college Physics papers. Setting and Theme: The Dreamside Road walks the line between fantasy and science fiction and deals with finding one’s place in a changing world. Many of the characters in this story are United States natives and the story begins in the United States, my homeland. However, knowledge or interest in this country is not necessary to understand the story, especially as it progresses. Also, as this is a novel that deals with societal collapse and while that damage may be widespread, in story, I don’t want to overstep and critique the culture of others’ unless I have particular knowledge in a given area. Ultimately, the Dreamside Road is American in the same way Harry Potter is English, fantasies that do not have a full secondary world, but with enough original elements to fully diverge the setting from our the real world.
