Slaine Allusia, one of the Grand Arcanists of his country together with his trusted aides, arrived in an abandoned town not too far from where the enemy spaceships landed.

Because of Wallace's attack coming from his fortress a while ago, the aliens became wary of any ambushes from the natives.

As soon as they landed, they sent out their Destroyers, Marauder Gears, and Mech Frames to guard their vicinity…

Then, they sent out their android builders to repair the damages done to the two Conveyor Spaceships.

"Grand Arcanist Slaine, do you know when will Wallace send his signal?"

The one who asked is Dr. Mao. He's one of Slaine's friends who was included in the last expedition in the northern continent to obtain materials for his Arcana.

"Let's not hurry the young man… He's planning to launch a simultaneous attack on all the spaceships scattered around the continent. It won't be easy." Slaine answered the doctor.

At this moment, the only magician who had seen Wallace's true strength was this person.

Slaine had seen the young man fight against a Celestial Being and was able to match the entity even for a short time… It is something so impressive and he can guarantee that none of the magicians he knows can accomplish the same feat.

"Simultaneous attack, huh… I wonder what he's planning to do." Dr. Mao muttered as he looked at the alien spaceships from far away that were trying to stabilize their fortress.

He can see the patrolling Mech Frames on the ground and the Destroyers circling the perimeter… As for the Marauder Gears, they seem to be planning on checking some abandoned villages to survey or loot the place.

Nevertheless, Dr. Mao is unaware of the presence of the floating islands that Wallace had brought here. Slaine had also kept quiet about it since he knows that it is top-secret information.

At the very least, Dr. Mao still knows something else.

"But Sir Slaine, what happened to those people you've brought before? What are they working on right now? They all look pretty strong… Are they all Sages?"

The doctor recalled a group of people that Slaine brought to his secret facility.

The people that they are referring to are the natives of the Northern Continent that they've brought here in the Southern Continent using the floating islands.

They weren't here without any purpose as Wallace had seen their abilities and thought of utilizing them to fight the empire. Of course, it only happened because of the benefits that Wallace gave and will continuously give to them. Without such benefits, he doubts that they will even bother helping them at all.

These natives of the Northern Continent may be living a dangerous life in their homes but they were already used to it and found methods on how to survive throughout the many years.

Dr. Mao looked at the man with an incredulous face.

He was a bit exaggerating when he said that those people were as strong as Sages. However, the Grand Arcanist just said that those hundred or so people are all at the level of Grand Sages?!

Their whole country only has 3 Grand Sages! Aside from that, they are also already old and he wouldn't even be surprised if he heard that they died due to old age.

However, those he had seen before were definitely young people, and perhaps, they are only in their 30s or 40s.

"I can read your face, Doctor Mao… I can't explain everything to you but if you survived today, you'll certainly have a chance to see them in battle."

Of course, while he's doing this, Wallace, Aeolia, and the Celestial Being roamed the Northern Continent at that time to look for these natives and gather them to Aeolia's Floating Islands after having a deal with them.

Finally, after returning here, the natives encountered an issue about the difference in the purity of mana so they need to have some time to adjust themselves.

Slaine suddenly heard the reports of his men as soon as the Floating Islands appeared.

Slaine Allusia looked at the falling islands…

He heard from Wallace that the island can naturally and randomly create a powerful jammer, or Electromagnetic Pulse, or a stronger version of something similar in the surroundings... This affects many machines within its range including Steel Knights even if they are fully operated by Mana.

Luckily for the aliens, the islands weren't falling rapidly that they were unable to react. The floating functions of the islands weren't easily deactivated from 100% to 0%...

As the drop didn't happen in the blink of an eye, the commanders of the spaceships managed to react…

But as soon as they realized that their missiles together with their cannons didn't work, they have decided to send out their secret weapon!

It is something that Wallace expected a little. However, after seeing them move out in huge numbers, Wallace couldn't help but sigh. This is really bad news for all of the magicians.

Right now, Avalon still hasn't confirmed the exact numbers of Khrusam Race since the numbers kept increasing as they come out of the spaceships one by one.

However, with Wallace's estimation, there should be about 300 of them everywhere as they carried their Corpse Furnace with them.
