Magical Academy: Rise Of The Supreme Magic Craftsman Chapter 397

The Celestial Being heard the sound of the bell creating a melodious chime.
The sound spread throughout the whole city alarming every Sea Being living inside…
"The Sea Kings…" The leader of the city muttered after hearing the chime.
"So, are they your visitors?" The Celestial asked.
"No, Lord Celestial… They've been coming here once in a while after we acquired the dead body of one of your kind."
"They're attracted to it?"
"It appears so… I think that they wanted to take it for themselves. Lately, they're coming at us in larger numbers and we're worried that our defenses won't be able to hold on."
"Then, why don't you just give it up?"
"It's not easy, Lord Celestial. That body has been protecting our city from any attacks… That may be from humans or the Sea Kings just like them."
The leader further explained that every time these Sea Kings arrive, they would try to use everything they got to slam their barrier and it would create tremors that would look like their city is about to be flattened.
Even if they give up the body, it's not a guarantee that the Sea Kings would leave them be.
"Let me take a look."
The Celestial said before disappearing beside the leader of the city.
He appeared at the edge of the City's Barrier as he looked at the six Sea Kings…
They are actually huge sea creatures the size of a mountain. The six of them don't even resemble a fish but some huge snakes and salamander on the surface.
Bam! Bam! Bam!
The six of them started slamming on the city's barrier just like the octopus-head leader said.
Whoosh~ Whoosh~
Two soldiers of the Sea Creatures arrived beside the Celestial.
"Lord Celestial… It is dangerous here. Although our barrier can't be destroyed, the vibrations may injure us if we stay here for long. We must quickly go to our shelter…"

The Celestial only looked at the two before glancing at the lively city…
The humanoid sea creatures are indeed gathering at some places that he suspected to be their shelter.
Nevertheless, the Celestial remained standing there which made the two sea creatures feel awkward.
"The two of you! Don't bother the Lord! Quickly get back and help the others!"
Finally, the leader of the City arrived as he reprimanded the two.
Nevertheless, the Celestial still ignored them as he watches the Sea Kings attack.
Bam! Bam!
The barrier was indeed shaking and anyone would think that it's about to shatter.
Nevertheless, the Celestial wasn't worried as he decided to no longer hide his aura.
Soon, a powerful pressure was felt by both the Deep Sea Creatures and the Sea Kings as they all had to urge bow down in the presence of such a mighty figure.

"Sir Julian! The next attack would be the final diversion… Please get ready…"
Commander Kyle reminded. Several hundreds of automatons have been sacrificed already and they are getting closer to their targeted spot.
"I understand… I'm ready…" Julian replied as he looked at the Khrusams standing above the Black Sovereign.
Boom!
The final batch of the automatons meant to be a distraction started their assault!
At this time, all the androids sent out by the Black Sovereign have been cleared out by the relentless assault of the automatons. After all, they are willing to self-destruct to cause more damage to the enemies so not even the Mech Frames were able to stop them.
Tap. Tap. Tap.
Everyone moved swiftly.
It didn't take long before they got into a distance where Julian can use his Forbidden Art…
Whom~
A powerful aura suddenly appeared while Khrusams and Mech Frames are busy with the automatons…
They glanced in the direction of the menacing aura where it's starting to gather…

They finally found the group of natives that have gotten closer to their spaceship!
However, as they were about to deal with them, they felt another explosion of energy not too far from them! It's the group of the remaining automatons together with the 500 elite magicians of Maja.
Now that Julian is about to use his forbidden technique, they have decided to finally show themselves.
Folco and his team pulled out their Mana Artifact connected to the automatons and controlled them in a way to distract the Mech Frames and Khrusams.
It doesn't matter how many automatons will be destroyed in the process as long as they can give the time that Julian needed to cast his Soul Explosion Art…
Meanwhile, Commander Kyle and the three other Sages braced themselves from the incoming attack of 5 Mech Frames…
Five beams of light fired in their direction as they cast their barrier!
"Now!" Kyle shouted.
They then threw 10 One-Time Mana Artifacts to create 10 layers of barriers to protect themselves from the Mech Frames' attack…
BANG!
The beam of light is similar to the laser focus that they've studied before but the intensity is just stronger.
Nevertheless, they have One-Time Mana Artifacts that could cost 30 million Credits each and should be enough to bear the brunt of the enemy's assault!
Crack! Crack! Bam!
The first barrier only lasted for 2 seconds before being shattered… However, the beams of light haven't disappeared yet as expected! They even became more powerful!
Boom! Boom!
As soon as 10 seconds had passed only two barriers remained!
Bam!
As soon as another barrier was destroyed, Kyle was ready to use his life force to empower the final barrier!
However, the beams of light disappeared! Finally!
"It's not over yet!"
One of the sages noticed that black energy started gathering around them and it seem to be sucking their energy!
This is the Death Energy coming from the Corpse Furnace of the aliens! Its corruption is extremely scary that it could ignore the remaining barrier.
"Mana Wave!"
They are unsure how to stop the Death Energy and can only use their Mana to forcefully push out the mysterious energy.
Luckily, although it wasn't as successful, this halted the power of their corruption!
But they do not have time to celebrate… They noticed that the black energy keeps spreading as it moves unhindered around them!
Their Mana Wave wouldn't last that long so they have to think of something…
"Forbidden Secret Art: Soul Explosion!"
Finally, they heard Julian's voice as he finished casting the forbidden spell!

Raak
James was in his 30's when his death came suddenly, not that he minded much, as life was seeming to drag on. His story, however, did not end with his death. As a point of fact, it had only just begun. This will be my first work, so please by all means comment with any errors I may have made. Suggestions for the story (which may or may not be used). This is a litrpg and a bit of a power fantasy, so be warned the protagonist will be pretty OP eventually.

Humans Must Adapt!
Humans Must Adapt is a First Person point of view from the eyes of slightly crazy and totally not a masochist MC. The setting takes place on a copy of earth with a different name. A cataclysmic event causes the native humans to be usurped from their natural place at the top of the food chain. Time has now passed, and the Humans have managed to settle themselves into mediocrity. But this is not enough.Note: I don't plan on including sexual content. The MC won't have an end game goal right from the start. Feedback is welcomed. The MC is a Tamer.
