"Veda?"

Miss Chamber, Miya, and the rest of the team have heard of its name for a long time now. However, none of them has a Terminal or device to get access to it.

"Veda… Are you related to the Database that we've heard of?"

Miya asked after getting surprised. Just like what she thought, there was something different to the automaton who suddenly spoke to them.

It has different light and tone when speaking.

[ That is correct. I am that database. Anyway, are you going to start studying them now? ] Veda answered.

Miya looked at the rest of the team to confirm whether they will indeed start researching now.

"Hmm… We're already prepared. But I would like to ask something first, Veda…"

[ Of course, Miss Chamber. Go ahead and ask anything you'd like to know. ]

The A.I. replied with confidence. Miya had realized that this Veda doesn't seem to speak like an A.I. at all. It feels like they were speaking with another human! It was such a weird but fascinating feeling.

"How can you help us with this research? It's not that I'm underestimating you… I just want to know how will you aid us. As you know, we need to study Death Energy using our Soul Arts… If you're unable to detect them, you won't be able to follow our study." Miss Chamber explained.

[ That makes sense. However, you don't have to worry. Studying this energy is much easier than the previous tasks I've had. ]

The A.I. answered and started explaining…

[ I've already successfully developed the Seventh Generation Mana Artifact and Wallace's factory is now starting to mass-produce them. Let me tell you, that project is much harder than you think. ]

"What?! The Seventh Gen?"

"Is that possible?"

"Wait, I haven't even heard about its existence yet!"

"That's true. The Sixth Generation's Spirit Forging Magic was just released to the public. How come there's already a Seventh Generation?"

Everyone, except Miya, was surprised upon hearing the existence of the Seventh Gen. After all, its existence is considered top-secret information since it can be used as a trump card against other nations.

However, now that the war against the aliens is ongoing, there is no point hiding its existence anymore as everyone would still know about it later on once the elite magicians were already allowed to equip them.

At the very least, only the method of its creation will remain unknown to the public.

Well, it can be said that Wallace doesn't have any plans of revealing the method to the public even if the leaders of all nations would beg for it.

The method was just too cruel and it shouldn't be used unless they are facing extinction like what is happening right now.

If they couldn't eliminate the aliens now, they will certainly face death or slavery for eternity.

Veda explained. The team of soul arts practitioners asked a few more questions before they started heading towards the research room.

They do not have plenty of time so they need to start their research already.

Miss Chamber mused after talking to Veda. She thought that the Moon Base, Mech Knights, Spaceships, the Floating Islands, and the assistance in the production of the Sixth Generation Mana Artifacts were already the limit of Wallace's preparations.

She only realized now that the young man still has backup plans.

"It's good that we still have plenty of things we could rely on. I just hope that once we learned how to use the Corpse Furnace, we can already finish this war and eliminate these aliens."

Miss Chamber muttered.

[ Well, I don't think that it will be enough. Even if we learned how to use the Corpse Furnace or even learned how to use Julian's Forbidden Soul Art, there is no way we could defeat them. ]

"What about the other Grand Arcanists and Grand Sages, where are they? They did not participate in this war at all!" Miya voiced out her thoughts. There was even a hint of irritation in her tone.

Tons of magicians have sacrificed their lives while the other powerful magicians of this country are nowhere to be seen.

The others agreed with her sentiment.

Nevertheless, Veda answered her with complete information.
