While this is all happening, Avalon's forces were also riling up the Imperial Army to bring the fight near the mining site.

The forces were made of automatons and Mech Knights fully controlled by the A.I.

The only downside with the A.I.'s army was that they were unable to use any Mana Spells or Mana Artifacts installed in them.

However, it was still enough to create troubles for the Imperial Army…

Their Hadron Cannons and Radiant Wave can still damage the alien's spaceships and destroy their Mechs. As a matter of fact, it was a bit more effective since the aliens were expecting Mana Spells to rain on them.

They seem to have adjusted their barrier to defend the spells but it backfired to them.

Avalon did its best to control the situation. However, it is still up to them to fight against the aliens. Their skills and magic would still matter in a close-range fight against the imperial soldiers.

Ross Schien looked at the situation below and as expected, the Airships above started getting attention.

It is only a matter of time before the Mech Frames would be sent to destroy them. Their team has to protect the airships especially the Fourth Veritas Airship where the Cryptic Mages are currently waiting.

He then noticed that the most troublesome Mech Frames called Wolf's Sledger started flying towards their spot.

These Sledgers have bulky brown armor plates and are carrying large cannons on their arms. Aside from that, they are capable of creating a powerful active force field that allows them to defend against their Mana Spells.

Finally, their Psionic Pulse that ignores their Mana Shells and defenses were too powerful… Luckily, they only have to buy some time to fight them and a few Mech Knights controlled by Avalon will also help them a bit later.

He didn't have to say more as the Lucent Knights with long swords and guns on their arms went into their formation.

They wouldn't allow them to get near to the Airships.

There is no point engaging in longe range battle against the Sledger Mech Knights. They would be at a disadvantage if that happens. They were already aware that the Psionic Pulse can also affect their Mech Frames so it is better used against enemies from afar.

This is why they brought out their swords and forced them to engage in close combat.

One of the Lucent Knights managed to hit the armor of the Mech Frame but instead of them being sliced, their sword weapons were destroyed!

He saw another Lucent Knight managed to destroy a cannon meant to fire the Psionic Pulse… It was indeed a successful task but unfortunately, the Wolf's Sledger Mech wasn't just good with that technology…

He saw the Mech Frame opened its burning palm and crushed the Lucent Knight blocking its way.

Their Mech Knights were melted and destroyed by such a powerful technology!

They have never used this before in the First Offensive!

"Tsk! Everyone, do not let the enemy Mech touch you with their palms. Be careful!"

Ross could no longer save the pilot but he can at least warn the other Mech Knights fighting with him.

'We can't be overwhelmed here…'

The soldiers were visibly stronger like a mini Mech Frame as they can kill all the battle mages and automatons blocking their way… It looks like a one-side battle to him.

Luckily, the Fourth airship was quite far from the line of fire.

Ross then continued casting various mana spells to deter the enemy mech frames… He wasn't that talented in terms of casting spells but he could at least dual cast.

Casting a Fire Arrow using one of his Mech Knight's Mana Artifacts while casting a Mana Bullet on the other was still something he could do so easily.

The other members of his team and do the same as they started pressuring the enemies…

Two of the Mech Frames near him suddenly exploded after a red and black wave passed through them…

He easily noticed the special technology of Wallace's Mech Knights as he looked in the direction where they came from.
