Magical Academy: Rise Of The Supreme Magic Craftsman Chapter 424

The Second Offensive against the aliens didn't go well as they have expected.
The tenacity of the Imperial Soldiers was something that they have miscalculated. Even after they managed to attack them using the Cryptic Mage's Death Energy, they can still strongly resist as they use their laser rifles to deal with the magicians.
Though the Magicians have Brain-Boosting Magic that allows them to react faster than an average person, the aliens had also received several enhancements! And aside from that, the aliens only have to pull the trigger of their weapons, unlike the magicians that still require a certain level of concentration to successfully cast their spells.
That delay is enough for the aliens to take advantage of and pressure them…
At this time, even the Destroyers joined the battle and wiped out a huge number of their mages.
Boom! Boom!
Huge explosions created by Aether Bombs occurred!
The magicians including the aliens were being thrown away by the sheer force of the explosion. At this point, even if they have the presence of mana acting as a neutron jammer, they are still unable to escape the power of Aether.
This type of energy is something that even Avalon couldn't carelessly touch. The knowledge it has to control aether is not enough. They would need the technology and materials similar to what GH Drive has to even try to think of making this level of Aether Bombs…
"Retreat! Retreat!"
"We'll wait until they finish the bombardment. Take cover for now!"
It doesn't matter which country they are in, the order is absolute and they have to follow if they wanted to survive.
Their Mana Shells and other Mana Spells they know couldn't defend against such bombing.
Perhaps, if they have set up a large Array, they might be able to defend against it. However, it is not the case and there's no way that the aliens would allow them to build such an array near them as well...

Boom! Boom!
The series of explosions continued as 12 Airships were already taken down!
They have a slower movement compared to Blaze Battleship that can agilely move. Aside from that, it can also use multiple CIWS to trigger the explosion of the bombs before getting near them.
[ The Arians will be using their Mind Stones again. This will be the last time they can use it and it will no longer be effective against the aliens. Please use this chance to kills the aliens and destroy their spaceships. ]
Avalon reported after a while.
The effect of the Mind stone could only last for about 30 seconds. During their first attempt, they did manage to cause internal issues but the extent of damage wasn't that great as they could still start such heavy bombardment.
Nevertheless, it is still quite effective than just forcefully destroying their forcefield and their armor.
"Very well… I'll take the lead…" Hallgrim looked at the surroundings as replied to Avalon. There's no longer any grass or trees around.
There's only a barren land after the series of explosions.
Though many of his troops managed to survive… More than 40 percent of them suffered injuries and they must be treated quickly.
At the very least, it seems that the Destroyers have already used their bombs and they have to resupply in their spaceship to do it again.
There's no way that he would let them do as they please!
He ordered some of his men to bring the injured to safety while the remaining men to get ready.
He needs to wait until the hiding Arians activated their Mind Stones again… The first time they did this, they quickly retreated to a safe place to make sure that they will still have this last chance…
However, for this second time, they will be joining the fight against the aliens.

If they didn't act now, the aliens might think of gathering together and increasing their force.
It would be disadvantageous for them especially if they have to deal with the Terubs.
Hallgrim glanced at Hayden and Troy's Battalion and they seem to be aiming for the remaining Imperial Soldiers as well.
He knows how they feel, these armored soldiers that they thought as fodder were actually all strong.
Their close combat abilities together with their advanced tech weapons are very hard to deal with even with their Grade 3 Mana Spells.
If they wanted to win, they have to move together and cast Grade 4 or even Grade 5 spells to obliterate them.
Unfortunately, casting such powerful spells normally takes some time as it requires plenty of mana aside from its requirement of having top-class Mana Artifacts.
Soon, a bright light covered the entire battlefield as the Arians successfully activated their mind stones…
"Attack!"
Hallgrim shouted… They have prepared a Mana Spell to stop the light from affecting them. So they were able to quickly react and attack the Khrusams and Marauder Gears in the sky.
At last, the Blaze Battleships had also fired its Positron Cannon and targeted the spaceships!
The spaceships may have a forcefield activated but this also stops them from firing their cannons!
On the other hand, the Destroyers above were targeted by the remaining Airships and Mech Knights!
And this wasn't over…
Trance, the last mid-tier Battleship at the level of Excellence appeared above the spaceships…
It is carrying the Super Mesospheric Altitude Gun as it targeted one of the Conveyors on the ground!
Even the magicians of the allied forces weren't aware of its presence until now!
As soon as the gun reaches a critical point… A red tower of light pierced through the Conveyor !
Finally! Another was Conveyor was spaceship was destroyed!
There is a total of 7 Invader Spaceships and 3 Conveyors in the Stella Region. One of the Conveyors was destroyed by Grand Sage Slaine while the second one was destroyed by Trance!
Boom!
It created a huge explosion as it affected the nearby Invaders!
Apparently, Slaine Allusia has already woken up and was able to speak with one of Avalon's Elysiums. He was finally able to relay his message to Ace…
Right now, Avalon has discovered that the Conveyors were actually carrying infant Space Beasts!

Also, bear in mind that this is all a first draft before any significant edits. There will likely be spelling, grammar and continuity errors, I will address them as soon as I spot them or you point them out. I read every comment (and reply, time permitting). The Writer
Frustrated with his limits, the young writer Seven accepts an offer from a supernatural entity, traveling to its world whilst given the chance to live past his regrets. Humans, though, are creatures that don't easily change, and his warped views of reality turn him into an unpredictable ally or foe in the game of death that is to follow. For the sake of translating his new experiences into a written masterpiece, he will spare nothing, not even his own life - so long as the work is complete. *** Romance tag was previously there, but it starts quite late in the story and I've yet to reach that part. I know how it will happen (more precisely, how I want it to happen), but currently, there are just subtle nuances that can only be left to the reader's very expansive imagination, and I wouldn't call that romance but a

This series has been dropped. It was a fun little project, and I do plan to eventually work on another work heavily based on it on webnovel, follow me @ttd566. I apologize for dropping it however down to the base setup is flawed, the MC is as pointed out shallow, and I may have overstepped slightly in certain aspects. While I do like this website I have moved all of my WN reading to the aforementioned platform, and if a rebootish type thing is to be created, it will be there. Thank you everyone for reading.
