The next morning...

Adam and Jessy gazed at each other's eyes with much tenderness...

Last night was been a blast, they almost did it, the real thing, the epoch of all intimacy, but Jessy will only surrender herself completely to Adam at the right time, besides she's still too young for the real thing. The good thing was...he didn't force himself into her. He respected her reasons in silence, no need to say the words.

"What are you thinking?" he peered at her eyes.

Jessy smiled at him. She has been cocooned in his arms all night long and it's something she likes so much. "Why did you break up with me?"

Sadness instantly clouded his eyes.

"Am no longer breaking up with you, Jess. I have to admit it was a very stupid thing to do on my part. But I truly regretted hurting you so bad, I am hurting myself too. But it's over now, I will never hurt you again, not even if my family will get in the way." He kissed her forehead, trying earnestly to convey to her what truly lies beneath his heart.

"I believe you," she answered softly.

She caresses his chest, trying to instill warmth into his tormented soul. "How's the situation down there with your family? Did they know about us?"

"No. They were too busy on making sure that~ 'The Facility' is running smoothly. Threats from humans, from other vigilante groups, and from the descendants of the other vampire clans whom my father has killed was always been a caused of enormous concern for my family. There are approximately five thousand vampires under my father's wing, they were living with my family underground. So, as you can see, they have no time to check on you, they literally entrusted you under my care, you are my sole responsibility," he said.

Jessy moved a bit to gaze into his eyes clearly. "H-how's your brother?"

"We enjoyed a brotherly bonding session, along with my sister and my parents. It's actually more like a family reunion," his eyes glowed with genuine happiness.

Then suddenly, his eyes shows a tinge of sadness...

"My brother talks a lot about you. I showed him your face, your smile. He is looking forward to meeting you one day. Maybe in his mind, he already viewed you as his wife because at a young age he was already informed by my parents that he will end up marrying you. So, he grows up thinking he has your heart. That part bothered me terribly and I felt guilty way back, that is why I decided to broke up with you. I feel like I am an intruder getting in the way with you and my brother's future happiness. It should have been you and my brother in a relationship right now. I should not have been having any romantic relationship with you. I know it's wrong but I can't help myself, I can't stop myself from falling in love with you," he explained in a somber voice.

Adam's voice sounded so broken it made her heart ache badly.

Jessy falls into a deep silence. She understood clearly that he was in deep shit situation when it comes to their relationship. While she can love him freely, he got his family's burden to think about. He was in a very difficult situation.

She inhaled sharply.

"Don't worry I will deal with your brother cordially in the future, but I could never love him," she said, so sure of herself.

"Why?"

"Because it will be so weird falling in love with two brothers. I could only love one brother and give my heart and soul to only one and that is you. You got my heart and I will only fall in love with you in this lifetime," she declared.

Adam looked at her face with pride and happiness. "Jess, I will die soon and you will continue to live for a long time, for centuries even. I don't want you to be alone, you should marry my brother, start a family, have children, live your life to the fullest."

She smiled a little. "I want to marry you only. I don't want any other man," she pouted.

Her devotion and loyalty always brought a smile and happiness to his heart. But he knew he can't hold on to it forever because he will die a few years from now. "You're still too young, Jess. One day, you will realize that what we have right now is just a teenage love affair, you will soon forget me when am gone. You will fall in love again and I will be the remnants of your memory together with your bygone youth era."

She nodded. "Maybe you're right. Everything you said today made sense to me. But I know myself well. I will only give my heart to one person only and that is you. So let's stop talking about the future, it's still not happening yet. I want to enjoy all my time with you, make you happy and show you that I shall continue loving you in your grave."

He immediately hugged her tight, he was so moved with her declaration of undying love that he almost shed a tear. "You will be feeling lonely all your life if you're stuck with our memories," he said.

"Nah, I will continue to live with just your memory alive in my heart. I will survive," she said firmly.

"Oh My God, you are so stubborn, Jess!" he mused. But he was loving her stubbornness the more. Her love made him feel so important and treasured.

"Let me die with you then-?" she said out of the blue.

A deep frown appeared on Adam's forehead. "No, you can't do that, Jess! We talked about it before, my family needs you and the rest of the vampires down there in the facility. Aside from that, you are too young, you have a good life ahead of you. Am already a goner no need to waste your entire life on me. Am just thankful that you love me, that is my biggest fortune in life."

She smiled affectionately at him. Then she kissed his lips. "Okay, as you wish."

She stood up and get her smartphone on the bedside table, she opens the camera, went back to bed and straddled Adam. Then she takes several pictures of them.

"W-what are you doing?"

"Taking a photo of you and me," then she lays down beside him and pressed her face closer to his, then take a picture again. She knew that he hates photos because he thinks he is ugly. But she will have her way. She will take more photos of them together so that she can have his memory in print, she will buy a photo album and filled it with his memories.

Adam went upstairs after eating.

Nana Aida and Jessy were left cleaning the table.

"I will wash the dishes, Nana," she volunteered.

"Okay," the older woman sat down on the chair watching keenly the young girl washing the dishes.

After the kitchen utensils were already washed clean. She motioned Jessy to joined her in the table.

"Come here, Jess. I will give you something," she said.

Nana Aida placed a little box on the table.

"What is it, Nana?"

"Here, take it..." Nana Aida deposits the box on Jess' palm.

Jess' eyes widen after reading the name of the box and had seen what's inside.

"C-condom?" she bit her lower lip and blushed.

"You need that, Jess," said Nana Aida.

"Nana- were not having sex. Me and Adam, don't do that kind of thing yet," she blurted out defensively.

"Oh, so what you usually do together?" Nana Aida perseveres with a raised eyebrows.

"W-we just cuddle, kiss and hug each other. Normal stuff that lovers do," she explained. She did not mention the straddling and grinding thing, her Nana will be horrified.

"Are you sure? Are you telling me the truth?" She tried to read the young woman's eyes, trying to see if she was telling the truth. If the young lovebirds will get carried away and Jessy will get pregnant, it will become a big problem in the future since she was destined to marry a Vampire Prince. Besides, the King and Queen of vampires will get angry because she was not able to control or give any advice to the two teenagers under her care. She even tolerated their romantic rendezvous. She was indeed trapped in a very dire situation.

Jessy put down the box of condom in the table.

"Just take it, Jess. Better give it to Adam, he knows what to do with it." Nana Aida insisted. She settles back the box of condom in Jess' hands.

Jessy took it hesitantly. Then she exited the kitchen door while the older woman watched her retreating form, head shaking.

Jessy went upstairs and entered Adams' room. He was lying on his bed listening to some techno music blasting from the speaker of his laptop.

She lay on the bed beside him and set the box on his abdomen. "A gift from Nana Aida," she casually said.

Adam picked up the box and examined it, he smirked. "Wow, condom!"

He looked at Jessy...they shared a meaningful look while staring at the box...

Then they dissolved into fits of laughter.

Adam become silent after a while. All throughout their make-out sessions, they never take off their clothes as in all the way. He never did any type of penetration with Jessy because she's not ready yet, and he respects her. He loves her so much, so whatever affection she gave him in form of physical intimacy he will always be grateful for it, he won't be asking for too much that she's not willing to give.

He glanced at her with eyes full of love.

"So, shall we start using 'one' tonight, eh? " he said joking, just to see how she will react.

She just smiled at him coyly, then she grimaced afterward and shook her head.

He smirked.

Then she whispered something on his left ear. "Don't worry, I will give you a taste of heaven before you die," she said teasing him.

Then she starts kissing him on the lips passionately, he groaned, his arms automatically pulling her body closer to his.

"...but not now and not tonight..." she finished the kiss and stood up, she exited his room quickly while taking the box of condom with her.

Adam hugged his pillow instead and crushed it to his body parts down there.

Jess' hair was blown by the wind while she was having fun in the swing, Adam pushed the swing back and forth for her.

"Can you tell me about The Facility?" she asked Adam a few minutes later after she's done with the swing.

They were sitting comfortably under the shade of the oak tree...they were both watching and admiring her beautiful rose garden from a far.

Adam removed the dried leave that fall on Jess' hair.

"Interested with your future home, eh?" he said.

She glanced at him frowning, trying to understand what is the meaning of his remark.

He planted a kiss on her forehead.

Adam countenance lightened up while remembering The Facility which his family calls home, he starts describing the facility with a clear voice:

"The Facility, is a 10-hectare land, consist of 15 big dome-like structure on the surface. Inside of that dome structures were five thousand human beings planting all types of vegetables and crops, day in and day out. So basically, it's consist of three levels: Outer, Middle, and the Pit. The Outer area is where the nursery of vegetables were being grown, seedlings, fertilization, planting, and the harvesting happens on the outer part. In the Middle part is where the five thousand vampires where housed at. And the Pit underground is where the gold is being extracted. The Pit contains a vast amount of gold that is being extracted at any time of the day. So basically, The Facility is sitting on vast deposits of gold underneath. That is how my family able to give salary to those workers who are working on the Outer part of the facility. Those human beings were providing continues blood supply to all the vampires beneath them. The vampires below, extracted gold in the Pit to pay their salary. The vegetables after being harvested were sold to supermarkets all over the country. However, the profits were never enough, so the gold deposits underground play a crucial part of the co-existence of the human workers and the vampires within."

Jess' eyes brighten due to amazement. "Who owns the land?"

"My parents," he said.

"How do the vampires extract the blood from the human beings above them? They will bite their fangs into their prey every night?" she asked.

"No. It does not work like that, Jess. As you can say, The Facility donates blood to Red Cross, that is the front. But not all blood was donated, the majority of the blood were meant to be consumed for vampires. The workers were not forced to donate blood but the majority of them donates blood for a good cause. We have an in-house chemist that regulates the blood supply to all vampires who were hiding underground. Sometimes when there is a shortage of blood supply, we brought them from the Black Market."

Jess' expression was filled with astonishment. "W-wow!"

Adam continued with his explanation:

"On the adjacent vacant lot of the Facility, lies a 10-hectare land which also owned by my father. It was currently being developed into a condo resort complete with amenities such as swimming pool, kids playground, clubhouse and mini forest in the middle of the resort. The expected completion of the resort will be six months before you turn twenty years old. After your blood successfully turned my fellow vampires into human beings they will be relocated into the resort. Everything was planned out in advance, we can't afford any mistake."

Jessy stared at Adam's face intently. Then she focuses her gaze back unto her rose garden. She realized that the whole completion of the vampires plan lies on her. Suddenly her head spin just thinking of the huge responsibility bestowed on her shoulder.

"So, why should I marry your brother? Can I just save them all with my blood and not marry your brother?" asked Jess.

Adam shook his head, he continues:

"After all the vampires transformed into human beings, they will all lose their power, they will die early just like human beings. That will literally wipe all vampires on the face of the earth. The only true vampire left will be you and my brother and your future children. Your family will be the new era of powerful vampire crossbreed. The vampire will soon flourish again on the face of the earth. That is why you and my brother will carry on the royal vampire lineage in the future."

Jessy was mystified after hearing Adam's last explanation. Is there any other way to escape her destiny? she asked herself.

"No way out for me?" she asked him.

"There is no escape, Jess. You, me and my brother, our destiny were intertwined with one another," he let out a deep sigh.

"Oh, it seemed the wheels of destiny were already set in motion," she commented dryly. What irritated her the most is that she is the unwilling participant in all of this.

Adam saw the extreme disdain on her face. "Cheer up, Jess. The future won't be that bad," he pulled her closer to him.

A cunning smile curled up in her mouth...Fuck destiny!
