The Last Embrace Chapter 62

Jessy and Princess Abigail were watching and enjoying the multicolored blooming flowers inside the dome garden.
New species of orchids were being added to the mix.
"Mother wants to see you tonight in the study room-Jess," Abigail said. She eyed Jessy with a questioning look.
"Okay," murmured Jessy, sighing. It seemed the Queen was getting impatient and can't wait any longer for her decision.
"What did you and my mother talk about the last time?" Abigail asked her friend out of curiosity.
"Your mother wants me to spend more time with your brother, that's all," said Jessy in a somber voice.
Abigail smiled at Jessy. "I think we should be the ones to get married because we're much closer to each other."
They both laughed and giggled.
Fifteen minutes later...
"Feeding time for me, Jess. Don't forget to be there in the study room later, my mom will be waiting for you," said the Princess as she turned around and headed towards the nearest exit.
Jessy stayed for a while in the garden waiting for her mother.
She sat down on the bench and think of Adam. She has not visited the mansion for a while. She will visit Adam's grave and Nana Aida soon, probably next week. She missed the mansion, her rose garden, her and Adam's room and all the bittersweet memories they shared together in the lake, in the woods and everywhere.
In the middle of the beautiful flowers surrounding her, she wanted to cry. She missed Adam so terribly! Now she knew how hard it is to be left alone alive in the world, and the man you love left you behind and gone to heaven. Tears start gathering in her eyes.
She was in that forlorn state, she didn't notice that someone was approaching her from behind.
"Hello Jessy," a female voice greeted her.
That person sat beside her.
Jessy averted her gaze. "Hi there, Hannah," she replied, while her fingers were busy wiping the tears from her eyes.
"Oh, why you are crying? What's wrong?" Hanna's voice sounded sympathetic.

"Nothing, I'm just missing my home. I'm feeling homesick," Jessy replied. She told her half of the truth, the rest she doesn't have to know.
"Ah okay...sad to hear that."
Jessy examined Hanna's face, the girl face was blooming, there was a touch of certain glow and happiness on her pretty face. She looks radiant today. She doesn't look this good as before.
"Wow, you looked different today," Jessy commented on her looks. "You look amazing!"
Hannah smiled at Jessy with a twinkle in her eyes.
"I'm just happy in these last few days. In fact, I've never been happier in my whole life," she said in a merry voice.
Jessy was about to ask more question out of curiosity, but Hannah stood up and looks like she was heading out.
"I'm going out. It's feeding time. Will you walk with me outside?" said Hannah.
Jessy shook her head. "You go ahead, Hannah. I'm waiting for mother here."
"Okay, bye..."
Hannah walked towards the dome's exit and gone out of Jess' sight in a matter of seconds.
Why is it that Hannah is happy and blooming nowadays? Jessy thought it's weird. The last time she saw her in her room when they were having that uncomfortable conversation regarding her request, she looks dispirited and so totally sad. The woman she saw today was happy, radiantly beautiful and oozing with confidence.
She was in that musing state when she saw her mother entered the door of the dome. She joined her mother and they went out of the dome heading into the cafeteria.

When Jessy entered the study room of the Queen, it was empty. She sat down on the sofa and waited for her.
When the door of the study room opened, the Queen entered, she brought along with her a Groom Wedding Tuxedo magazine.
The Queen smiled at her. She smiled back a bit hesitant at first.
Jessy observed the Queen's face. She looks much nicer today compare to their previous encounter.
Margaret sat beside her and handed her the magazine.
Jessy accepted it and gazed at the magazine's cover that shows a gorgeous groom wearing a nice tuxedo.

"Bring that magazine along with you and go to Zain's room and you two choose a good tuxedo for him to wear on the wedding," ordered the Queen.
Jessy was about to protest but she kept her mouth shut. If she disobeyed the Queen's order now, it might lead to another heated argument.
"Yes, My Queen," she replied.
"Don't call me that anymore. From now on you can call me, Mother. You understand?"
Jessy nodded like an obedient child.
"Yes M-mother," she said in an audible voice.
"Good. You go ahead now, and make sure that Zain sees that magazine, help him to choose, okay?"
Jessy nodded again, she did not bother to bow in front of Margaret and exited the room in a hasty manner feeling furious.
When she was already a few meters away from the study room, she released the troubled breath she was holding inside. She took a deep breath and filled her lungs with fresh air.
She doesn't want to see Zain but she needs to deliver the magazine into his hands or else the Queen mother will be angry.
Damn!
Grrrr!
She walked ahead towards the corner of the hallway, Zains' room was the last room on the right side of the hallway, the second was Abigail's room and the first room was the King and Queen's room.
She knocked apprehensively at the door on Zain's room five times, no one opens it. Maybe he was not inside his room at this time. When she tried to open the doorknob it moved right away. When she took a peek, no one's inside. She entered the room in a tiptoed manner and plans to leave the magazine on top of the bed.
When she was done dropping the magazine on the bed, she was about to go out, but she heard some muffled voices emanating from the closed door near the table. Out of curiosity, she walks slowly towards the closed door. She doesn't have to open the door wide because it was opened a little bit, enough for her eyes to take a peek inside.
What she saw made her blushed from the tips of her hair all the way down to her toes.
Dang!
She saw two bodies both naked, belonging to a guy and a woman pressed together in an erotic and indecent manner.
The couple was romping, the naked guy was positioned behind the naked woman's body, his lower part of his body was banging the woman's behind under the shower of water cascading on their naked bodies. The woman's face a bit hidden, but looks more like Hanna's profile. Her eyes closed, face contorted in bliss, her moaning was long and orgasmic. The guy was grunting while his hands were busy fondling the woman's exposed breast.
She doesn't know how long she'd been staring at the two naked couple but when Zain's head turn around facing the door, their eyes meet! He grinned maliciously and licked his lips while staring at Jess' startled face. Then he mouthed "you're next" to Jessy and winked at her.
Dang!
That was all that it takes for Jessy to woke up from the trance. She went flying out of the room in a hurry, her heart was pounding hard on her chest.
Holly Guacamole! What she had just seen?
When she arrived in her room, she closed the door right away.
She jumped right into her bed, her heart was still beating hard on her rib cage.
So, everything is clear as daylight now. The reason why Hannah was blooming and radiantly beautiful nowadays because she and Zain were having regular sex escapades behind her back, lol. Her future groom was busy f*cking her assistant, on the other hand, it can be a good thing for her. She wondered...since when they start having a sexual affair behind her back?
She was a bit happy with the current developments of Zain and Hannah, she was thinking of how to exploit their sexual relationship to her advantage.
She shuts her eyes trying to erase those erotic scenes she had witnessed earlier.

The Silver Mana - Book 1: Initiate
I used to be a healthy, young guy with a normal life - I had a career planned in professional soccer, a girlfriend, lots of hobbies, and loads of fun. Until the accident. Which changed my life. A few years later I had adjusted to my new reality, adjusted to being in a wheelchair, adjusted to having someone take care of me 24/7. And then the world changed. Old people and kids did not make it. And neither was I supposed to make it. But never count me out. If anything, I am tenacious. This new world was different. People could do magic. And there were monsters. And what about me? I had mana as well, silver mana. Which no one else seemed to have. The only problem was, I did not know what to do with it. Until I really needed to. Author's note: This is the rewrite of Silver Mana. The first bunch of chapters (until I will have caught up to level 2 of the dungeon) should be quite familiar to people that have read the original. There are some changes in content, but the story follows the original fairly closely for at least the first 150-200 pages. Most of the changes are in the writing, and some of the details of how things work. A few of the side characters get a bit more attention too. Some general comments to avoid disappointment: 1. The MC likes to swear. If you object to reading the word "fuck" at least once and usually multiple times each chapter don't read the book. "Fuck" is such a great, allencompassing word... fuck that; what the fuck?; fuck me! Fuck! one word, expressing so many nuances. And, frankly, the people I know that use fuck as a swear word.. they often use it a lot. 2. If you are looking for immediate progression, rapid advancement of the story, etc.... read another book. This one takes a bit. 3. I am NOT Pirateaba (who is writing The Wandering Inn) or anyone close to that level of productivity. If you expect to read 10k words every 3 days, or even just once a week... sorry. I've got a busy life. This is for fun, I have no patreon, paypal, anything, so I write when it is fun and however much is fun. Not more. And sometimes that turns out to be a decent amount, sometimes nothing. I have another book (Marrow) so that complicated things - basically I switch between the two whenever the muse strikes me.
