After dinner, Jessy teleported herself into the city. She bought a brown sling bag, then went to a pawnshop and jewelry store that buy and sell gold. She picked the best store that gives her the highest price for the two gold nuggets, the precious metal sold at $50k and $60k respectively, she put all the money into the brown sling bag as her gift for Virgie.

May the children will no longer suffer badly when they were growing up now that their mother has finally come back in their lives.

She was guessing that after the police are done with their investigation they will return the children to their grandparents because the father is working in another city and is not in the position to take care of the children.

But even if the children have not arrived yet in their grandparent's place at least Virgie is back to take custody of her children again.

She's looking forward to seeing their happy reunion.

Done in the city, she teleported back into the Facility for the last blood transfusion for the day.

Midnight.

Jessy was in her room donning her black costume, ready for tonight. She went to the living quarters of the rescued mortals. When she opened the room, the ladies were still awake, looks like they want to support Virgie for the last time before she goes home.

"Good evening ladies!" she greeted them.

"Good evening Jess!" they replied in chorus.

"Oh, why are you not sleeping yet?" she looked at their excited faces.

"We're very excited for Virgie's homecoming," one of the ladies said.

"Okay, how about a group hug—? Give Virgie your best wishes, your love, and friendship," she urges them to bond for the last time because they might not see each other again and even if they will meet in the city they won't remember that at some point in their lives they meet during one of the darkest time of their lives.

The women engaged in a group hug and she can hear sniffling, some of them were already on the verge of crying, the lively atmosphere earlier suddenly turns emotional.

Time to go!

After the girls were done with the group hug, they bid the woman goodbye. "Happy trip and happy homecoming, Virgie!" they cheered in unison.

Jessy smiled and looked at Virgie. "Are you ready to go home?"

"Yes!" Virgie nodded excitedly and at the same time, she felt nervous.

Jessy saw that Virgie was feeling nervous. "Don't worry girl, everything will be alright, follow me I will take you home. Bye girls see you next week for your turn," she said smiling at them.

Jessy held Virgie's hands. "Let's go to the queen's study room first so that you can give your thanks to her, okay?"

Virgie nodded her head, she's getting speechless now that she can finally see her family back as if the mere talking can send her to a fit of crying. While she was still in captivity and being held in the filthy cage inside the cave, she had given up hope and already stop believing that one day she will be reunited with her family. When she saw some of them were dying she loses hope already. It's like a miracle straight from heaven when one night Jessy and the vampires come to their rescue.

That's when she realized that she was given a second chance of life to be with her parents and children again.

They arrived in the study room. The queen was already waiting for them inside.

"Hello, Virgie....are you getting excited now to go home?" Queen Margaret asked.

"Yes! Thank you so much, Queen Margaret, for letting us stay here in your place, thank you for the foods and the clean bed, my friends and I appreciated your kindness very much," Virgie said.

Queen Margaret smiled at the woman. "You're welcome...now close your eyes..."

Virgie obeyed the queen's command.

Queen Margaret froze Virgie and placed her hands on the woman's head. Then she starts the process of erasing the woman's memory starting on the day she was abducted by the vampire.

While the queen was doing her thing...Jessy watched them with amazement in her eyes.

Thirty minutes later.

The queen was done erasing Virgie's memory. Then she looked at Jessy. "It's now your turn, child."

Jessy put the sling bag on the woman's shoulder and then held her hand. "We're going now to the city, Mother," she said and began the teleportation process.

A moment later, Jessy and the woman were gone from the study room.

Queen Margaret exited the study room to retire to her bedchamber.

In the city.

Jessy in her invisible form and Virgie in her frozen form appeared outside the dilapidated house at the back of the apartment.

"We're here!" Jessy said excitedly.

She knocked at the door three times, no one answered.

They must be sleeping already.

She knocked again, much louder this time, then she heard movements from the inside of the house. The moment she noticed that someone was about to open the door, she unfreezes Virgie right away.

The one who opened the door was Martina, and the shocked on her face was great upon seeing the person who was standing in front of the door was no other than her very own missing daughter!

"Oh my God! Rudy come here! Our daughter has come back!" she can't contain her happiness and hugged her daughter tightly.

Virgie was frowning. "Mother? Why are you here in this house?" she roamed her eyes on the surrounding areas, lots of questions began forming in her head.

Martina looked at her daughter closely. "Come inside, daughter, this is our new home now. Duane and Doyle were in the room sleeping," she said as tears of happiness were falling from her eyes.

An old man emerges from the room and his eyes widen like saucers upon seeing his missing daughter, he closed the distance between them and hugged his daughter tightly, his heart was exploding in happiness inside his heart, his beloved daughter has finally returned. "Virgie! my daughter! Thank God, you finally come back to us! He finally heard our prayer. Thank you, Lord! Thank you so much for giving back us our daughter!" he can't contain his elation.

This time Virgie's confusion was great. "Huh? I just come home from work, I'm not missing, I'm here right?" she scratches her head bewildered by everything especially her parent's weird reaction upon seeing her.

Martina was deeply puzzled by her daughter's action as if she had forgotten that she was gone missing over a year already.

"Where are my kids, Mom?" Virgie asked.

Martina opened the door of the room so that her daughter can see her children sleeping in the bed.

Virgie went to the children's side and kissed each of their foreheads. "Mom, let's go back upstairs in the apartment, I can't understand why we are living here?" her brows furrowed. "I just paid our rent last week, right?"

Martina and Rudy looked at each other.

Rudy went to his daughter's side and talked to her. "Child, you'd better sleep beside the children, we will explain everything tomorrow after you rested, okay?"

Virgie obeyed her father's command and settled beside her children. She put the sling bag at the cabinet beside the bed. She feels so sleepy.

Rudy and Martina continue staring at each other's eyes mystified.

"Maybe she had undergone amnesia—?" Martina was worried.

Rudy still wore a pleasant smile on his face. "It doesn't matter, the important thing is that she's alive," he said. "Come on wife let's sleep, we will explain to her everything that happened to her tomorrow..."

Martina sighed and obeyed her husband.

The couple took a sleeping mattress from the room and placed them on the floor of the tiny living room.

Jessy only left the house after the couple turns off the light, she had mixed emotion after witnessing the reunion, she's happy for the family, she hopes that Virgie's confusion will be cleared in the days to come and she will be able to continue living their normal lives.

Well...she had done her part already...time for her to get back to the Facility to rest for the night.
