Jessy realized that Adam will not tell her anything if she kept poking for the truth. She has to wait when he is ready to tell her everything. "Okay, I believe you," she lied pretending that she believed him, but deep inside a nagging feeling was growing in her mind, she's getting suspicious. If Adam won't tell her, she will try to ask Princess Abigail what transpired inside Zain's room.

"Are you going to sleep here or go back to your place tonight?" Jessy asked.

"I will stay here beside you," he smiled tenderly at her pretty face. "Because I miss you so much! I want to spend every minute and every second with you by my side," he said meaningfully.

"Let's get married then!" she blurted out. The moment the words escape her mouth her face turns sad.

"Why you looked sad all of a sudden, Jess?"

"Because I can't marry you unless your brother will annul our fake marriage," she pouted in distaste.

Adam runs his fingers on her forehead trying to smooth the crease on her brows. "I'm sorry that my brother is so stubborn in giving you your freedom, Jess. Don't worry sooner or later, he will finally let you go. How will you feel if Zain will finally set you free?"

Jessy's face broke into a dazzling smile. "Of course, I will be very happy!" she said.

Adam wants Jessy to be happy, her freedom and happiness come with a heavy price though, he is more than willing to sacrifice his love for her so that Jessy can obtain her freedom.

"You're getting silent again, Adam, what are you thinking? What is bothering you? It's okay if you don't want to talk about it right now. I just want you to know that I'm willing to listen whatever it is, I will try to understand you..." she was trying to persuade him, wanting him to confide to her what's bothering him.

Adam stared at her face. If he will tell her what his brother had told her, would she be willing to listen and understand his situation and accepts whatever decision he will make later on?

"Nah, just the usual...my brother is willing to grant your freedom on one condition..."

"W-what is the condition?" her eyes widen instantly.

"That we must break up and end our relationship. He will set you free, I will let you go...in the end it will be the ending of our love triangle. No one is going to end with someone, he promised me that if I let you go, we can repair our broken sibling relationship, just that it will break us apart. That's what he recently offered me when Abigail and I visited his room earlier," Adam explained.

Jessy pouted, she was trying to stay calm and not dissolve into a puddle of tears.

"Oh, I see. That is why you looked so sad and tormented earlier because part of you wanted to let go of me so that you and your brother can finally make peace with each other, but part of you refused to give up our relationship. Hmm, you are indeed tormented and tightly pressed in a very difficult situation. So what other condition he demanded from you? Aside from breaking up with me? He still wants you to transfer your power to him and stay in that prison-like room to suffer like him?" Jessy asked 'coz she wants to know everything because she wants to share Adam's burden.

"He told me that to prove that he is serious in patching up our differences, he will stay inside that room for two years with me. He no longer wants me to transfer my power to him," Adam said.

Jessy raised her brows. "Wow! Really—? Does he no longer desire your power? And he is willing to stay in that room with you for two years? Amazing! Looks like he is not the old Zain that I used to know before..." she murmured to herself.

Adam looked at Jessy. "If you are in my shoes? What will you do? What will be your decision?"

She stared back at him. "How desperate you are to make amends with your brother?" she asked trying to know his decision.

Adam was silent for a minute. "I dunno. Let's just stop talking about this topic," he finally said.

"Just let me know your decision. I will try to understand your point of view with the best of my ability," Jessy insisted.

Adam tried to read what's on Jessy's head. "What are you thinking, then? Can you guess my decision?"

Jessy bit her lip. "Hmm, I think you won't listen to your brother this time, he was just trying to fool you and manipulate you...you are blind if you can't see it..." she said in a harsh tone.

"But Jess, you do understand that he will never let you go as his wife if we won't give him what he wanted from us, right?" Adam said.

"So what—? What matters most to me—is we love each other, as for the rest I don't care!" she said stubbornly.

Adam smiled but sighed afterward.

"If you chose your brother over me, I will hate you for life! Please remember my words before you make a final decision," she warned him. Well...deep inside she never meant it, she was just terrified that Zain will finally succeed in breaking her and Adam apart because of his jealousy and revenge.

Adam shook his head. He indeed had one tough decision to do!

He gathered Jessy in his arms lovingly, wanting to make her feel that he will always love her. "I haven't made any decision yet and if I do, I will always put your happiness above everything else...so please don't stress your self out over things that aren't happening yet," he said rubbing her arms affectionately with his fingers.

Jessy buried her face on his chest and hugged him tightly. "Chose me please!" she begged.

Adam smiled and cupped her face. "Of course, I will always choose you! You're the love of my life, my happiness, and my everlasting love," he grinned, his hypnotizing eyes colliding into hers.

Jessy giggled. "Aww...you're so sweet! So cliche! But I love you just the same, we shall never be apart ever again, okay?"

"Alright...as you say so..." Adam nods his head, humoring her while twirling some strands of her silky hair around his fingers. "Let's play little Indian..." he then starts chuckling while tickling Jessy's side nonstop.

Jessy doubled over in peals of laughter.

A few moments later.

"Adam, please stop!" Jessy begged and tried to escape from his hold playfully.

"Okay," Adam replied and ceased tickling his girlfriend right away. "Come here, let's just cuddle and enjoy each other's presence," he said and gathered her body close to his.

Jessy closed her eyes and luxuriated in the sweetness of his embrace.

Fifteen minutes later, Jessy had already fallen asleep in Adam's arms.

He planted a gentle kiss on the sleeping woman's forehead. "Sweet dreams, Jess. I love you so much!" he mumbled and shut his eyes to sleep.
