The Last Embrace Chapter 351

After hearing the passengers' recollection of the after events of the collision, some divers dived into the water to check for the hole in the ship.
Five divers located three holes down the bow area...in the hull. One was big enough to sink the entire ship...!
They were deeply puzzled because they can see the inside of the ship 'coz of the gaping hole but to their amazement, the water isn't rushing inside...as in no water was getting inside the hole!
The five divers were looking at each other's eyes, confused.
Out of curiosity, one diver poked his index finger into the hole, his finger bounced back...there was an invisible barrier preventing his finger from entering the hole!
The second driver did the same...
The third and fourth did the same...
The fifth diver followed suit...and produce an underwater camera and took pictures.
Jessy was watching them a few meters away. What these people are doing?
Then the divers looked at each other...and they began coming out of the water hurriedly.
Jessy emerges out of the water as well and hovered above the air watching the rescue operation happening in full swing below her.
One hour later...all the passenger and crews were safely relocated to the rescue vessels along with the surviving crew of the oil tanker, some of them were suffering burn on some parts of their bodies.
"Everything is clear, Sir!" the sailor reported to the officer in charge of the operation.
"We will leave now and bring the injured to the hospital," the officer said.
The rescue teams were preparing to leave...
And they were now thirty meters away from the collision area, Jessy demolished the shield from the hole and the ship was starting filling with water again and slowly began sinking in the bottom. She knows the divers will come back to investigate the invisible shield again. She doesn't want them to come back out of curiosity then met an accident later, because at the far distance she can see sharks coming to the area.

The people from the rescue team vessels gasped in shock and horror upon witnessing the ship sunk before their very eyes until they can no longer see it above the sea level. The realization hit them hard... if they didn't arrive on time, everyone will be dead.
Little did they know...the silent hero was hovering in the air watching over them, protecting them until they all can go back to the safety of the shore.
In the eyes of the rescued passengers...they owe everything to the rescued team.
In the eyes of the five divers who witnessed something mind-boggling down there in the hull of the ship...they know the mysterious happenings were associated with something else...something powerful!
And that someone else was hovering a few meters up in the air smirking holding the camera in her hands while looking at the five divers huddling together in the corner.
Then a few minutes later, one of the divers shouted in alarm. "W-where is my camera!?"
"Where did you hide it?" one diver said.
"I think you lose it or drop it in the ocean," commented the other.
"No. I put it back inside my bag here, but now it's empty!" the diver said worriedly, still taking a look at the inside of his black bag.
"No one took it, only the five of us know about those controversial photos!" said the bald guy, the oldest of the group.
"C-could it be that...that this is connected to the mysterious hole of the ship?" one of the divers said.
"I dunno...help me to find it guys!" said the owner of the camera.
They scrambled to their feet and began looking for the camera all over the place. The camera is the only evidence that will validate their claims that something mysterious was happening on the ship.

After a few minutes of finding the missing camera, they finally found the object they were looking for in the corner where they previously had already searched.
"We found it!" then they huddled together to check if the images of the hole taken by the camera were still there.
To their dismay, the photos of the mysterious hole of the ship had vanished, they can no longer be located in the camera!
They looked at each other with a terrified expression on their faces.
"C-could it be... that the mysterious being who protected that ship was following us because we took photos?" said the owner.
They looked at each other with an awareness that maybe the mysterious being who created the mysterious barriers in the hull of the ship was following their journey back to the port. They looked around them and at the heavens above, they can't see anything.
"Even if we don't see anything it doesn't mean it's not there! That hole barrier is one of a kind, it prevented the ship from being filled with water...that ship would have been sinking fast before we even arrive on the collision area and there would be lot's of people drowned already and we would still be collecting dead bodies from the water by now, that invisible barrier save the ship from sinking into the bottom," the bald man explained.
"And the fire, the flames should still be burning in that ship but when we arrive the ship was no longer burning...how can someone explain that...it's hard to believe that the fire just magically disappears without anyone putting the fire off?" said the owner of the camera.
They looked at each other's faces again.
"Today's experience is hard to explain in words and we also lose the one evidence that can validate our claim that someone is protecting that passenger ship...someone we can't see but was watching us right now..." said one of the diver.
"Guys...could it be a powerful mermaid? What do you think?" one diver suggested.
They fell silent for a moment.
"I would like very much to go back to the collision site and take photos again but I'm sure that the invisible barrier was no longer there, eradicated already by the one who put it there because the ship already sunk into the bottom..." the owner of the camera said.
They all agreed.
Jessy smiled upon hearing their conversation. Wise men!
Two hours later, the rescue team vessels were already approaching the port, ambulances were lining up in the port area ready to bring the casualties to the hospital.
A few minutes later the vessels carrying the rescued passenger already docked in the port.
Upon seeing the flurry of activities happening below her, Jessy realized that her assistance was no longer needed, she decided to go home and teleport back to the Facility.
