"Indeed, this is not good. Ruth and Kevin's path crossed after the abduction, they become attracted to each other during the period of the savage vampires' abduction. Although we can erase their memories of each other so that Kevin can return to his family and Ruth can return to her boyfriend in one piece without excess baggage...but where does that innocent baby fit in all this?" Queen Margaret's head was busily finding ways to incorporate the baby in a perfect solution to the couple's dilemma.

Jessy was at a loss of words for a few moments. The baby needs her mother's care for sure! That is all she knows.

"Kevin at one-time plan to divorce his wife and live with Ruth along with their baby," Queen Margaret said. "What do you think is the best solution for the baby?"

The queen looked at her daughter in law... seeking the younger woman's suggestion.

Jessy scratches her head for a moment.

"Hmm...we will just keep the baby here in the Facility or the Habitat, maybe some couple is willing to adopt the baby...what do you think... Mother?" she suggested.

Queen Margaret's face broke into a dazzling smile. "Perfect! Such a brilliant solution to our problem with the baby. The baby will remain here with us, I will look for someone committed and good enough to take care of the baby," she said. "Now, that we settled this problem, we can erase Kevin's memory tomorrow, he will be the first to go home followed by Ruth," the queen said feeling relieved.

"Okay, Mother, I will check Kevin's home address tonight in between my blood transfusion break," said Jessy.

"You can go back now to the clinic, child," Queen Margaret spoke gently.

"I will leave now, Mother, have a nice day ahead," she said and left the room quietly.

While walking in the hallway leading to the clinic, Jessy was deeply bothered by her suggestion. But she was also aware that the baby's presence would destroy two relationships that were going well before the unfortunate things transpired due to the savage vampires' interruptions in their lives.

'I'm so sorry baby...' she murmured, feeling awful inside.

The next day, afternoon.

Jessy in her invisible form visited the house of Kevin in a quiet neighborhood located outside the city. It's a nice sleepy neighborhood. Kevin's abode was a duplex style house, while the other houses nearby were single detached. His house has a cute small lawn and car garage. There was a car parked in the garage.

She entered the house and saw children in the living room, they were preoccupied with drawing and other school activities...she saw a woman in her early thirties chopping meat and vegetables in the kitchen nearby.

This must be Kevin's wife and his two children.

She inspected the inside of the house, it's just a typical abode for a small family. She left the living room and floated into the second floor, there are two bedrooms upstairs, nothing much to see there.

The house is homely and Kevin's family is intact, everything is good, nothing is out of the ordinary.

For sure, there will be a happy reunion between Kevin and his little family, later!

Since...everything is alright, it's about time to go back to the Facility and resume blood transfusion in the clinic.

She teleported back into the Facility, landing right outside the door of the clinic, she pushed the door open and get inside quickly.

Night comes.

The clock strikes at 10:00 in the evening.

The queen was already waiting in the study room, Jessy went to the human's living quarter to fetch Kevin.

She arrived in the room, she knocked five times before opening the padlocked to announced her presence.

Jessy pushed the door and saw Kevin and Ruth still in a tight embrace...hmm...she coughed a little announcing her arrival.

Kevin and Ruth looked at each other and then at Jessy.

"Please stop crying, Ruth. We will survive this..." Kevin said to the woman in front of him.

"You have to promise to me that you will never forget us, you will never forget our baby and the love we have shared here," Ruth begged teary-eyed.

"Of course, I will never forget you and our baby. I will visit you on your address, we will see each other soon," he said while wiping the tears from her eyes.

Jessy breathed deeply while watching the couple's tender moments not wanting to intrude any longer. "Guys, if you're not yet done with your goodbye's...then I will just come back after fifteen minutes," she said about to turn around and going back to the door to exit the room and give the couple more privacy.

"No, wait, Ma'am Jess, we're done with our goodbyes. I will go with you now," Kevin said with excitement gleaming in his eyes. He planted a kiss on his daughter's head and also kissed Ruth's forehead and walked away from the room without looking back.

Jessy padlocked the door from the outside.

In the hallway.

"Ma'am Jess, when is Ruth and my baby can go home?" Kevin asked.

"Next week it will be Ruth's turn to go home, we can only allow one human to go home per week," Jessy explained.

"Thank you, Ma'am Jess, for all the help," he said.

Jessy glanced at his face. "So, did you already confessed to Ruth that you are a married guy with a devoted wife and two children waiting for you in your home?" she asked.

Kevin's face turned pale. "H-how did you know, Ma'am Jess?" he asked petrified because he never told anyone that he is a married guy. He hides his married status even to Ruth, all along pretending that he was a single guy.

Jessy released a deep sigh. "We have our ways to know the truth. So, what is your plan for Ruth and your baby daughter?"

Kevin's face was marred with conflicting emotions. "I can no longer marry Ruth, but I'm willing to financially support her and our baby," he answered.

"And what about your wife—? Are you gonna tell her the truth about Ruth and your baby?" Jessy asked again.

Kevin shook his head. "No," then he sighed deeply. "I'm confused right now, but in time when I'm back in my home, I might be able to find a solution to my problem. Right now, I just want to go home and see my family. I missed my wife and my children so much!" there was a deep longing in his eyes and a hint of excitement in his voice.

Jessy's mouth twitched and bit her lower lip in exasperation. Damn! Men! She wanted to ask Kevin why he entered into a relationship with Ruth during the period of their captivity knowing that he was a married guy. "Why did you do it? Why you entered a relationship with Ruth when you know that you are a married man?" she asked aloud.
