Chapter 67: As Long As You Dare To Repeat That To Young Master Yu

In front of the doors to a courtyard, somewhere in Green City.

A black car stopped at the entrance and the next moment, someone pushed open the car door and alighted.

The person had a tall, slender and youthful figure. With her fair fingers, she closed the car door and turned to head towards the Municipal compound.

“Excuse me Miss, please show me your pass.” The guard said politely after stopping her.

This was the Municipal Military Region, not everyone could enter as they wish. Officers without their pass would also not be allowed in by the guard unless necessary.

Su Huiqing stuck her hand into her pocket and lifted her head to look at the guard. She cast him an extremely cold gaze that saw no depth at all.

“Hold on, I’ll make a call.” She took her phone out from her pocket.

Chu Xuning was sitting in Chu Family’s main hall when Su Huiqing called. He grabbed his jacket as he told her through the phone, “Miss Su, please pass your phone to the guard.”

On the sofa beside him sat Yu Shijin, who was playing chess with Old Master Chu. He paused his actions upon hearing her name.

He turned around and looked at Chu Xuning, questioning, “She’s here?”

He lifted his eyebrow slightly and his eyes resembled cold jade pieces, giving off a natural aura of coldness and nobility.

“The guard held her back, I’m going to pick her up.” Chu Xuning grabbed his phone and got ready to leave.

Yu Shijin did not say a word. He just directly stood up and snatched Chu Xuning’s phone away, placing it to his ear. He said with a slightly cold tone, “Let her enter. Remember her face, there’s no need to stop her in the future anymore.”

After giving his command, he hung up and threw a black chess piece on the table before informing, “Old Master, I’ll head out for a while.”

He remained calm the entire time.

Actually, it was difficult to see his expression because of his droopy eyelids.

But Old Master Chu and Chu Xuning clearly felt Yu Shijin’s entirely different aura from the past.

Just after he left, someone appeared from the second floor.

“Is Young Master Yu not here?” Chi Yue pushed his glasses and scanned the main lobby. After not spotting Yu Shijin anywhere, he threw a thumbdrive to Chu Xuning and instructed, “When he’s back, tell him that all the details I could find are in that thumbdrive.”

After that, he stuck his hands in his pockets and headed out.

Chu Xuning fiddled with the thumbdrive and looked up at Chi Yue, calling out, “Wait, Mr. Chi Yue, I heard you’re returning to the Unknown Island…”

Actually, he wanted to ask Chi Yue if he knew about the current situation at the Unknown Island.

“Grandpa, do you think so too?” Chu Xuning did not reply to him instantly, instead, he turned to ask Old Master Chu.

Old Master Chu shook his hands and said, “The reason why I was discharged from the hospital is due to this matter. But you’ve been following Young Master Yu for the past few years so I trust that you won’t be so rash in doing things. I won’t interfere in your decision.”

His sentence made Chu Deputy Regiment’s expression turn dark as he refuted, “Old Commander, how can you run wild with Xuning? You can’t ruin Chu Family’s route for retreat just because of a businessman, you’re also aware that those people from the capital will keep finding trouble for Chu Family!”

“And Xuning, with that talent of yours, it won’t be a difficult task to join the International Association Power. Why do you have to interfere with the wrecked state of another family’s corporation, aren’t you ruining your own future like this?”

Chu Xuning frowned.
