Chapter 126: This Works
On the other end of the walkie-talkie, Yu Shijin’s eyes were looking down coldly. “I’ll take the responsibility if they die.”
He’d come along a road paved with blood.
There was no difference if there was one more victim or not.
If anyone could dabble in Green City and anyone thought he could influence his life, he would have lived for nothing.
The chief detective disconnected the call.
He fiddled with the gun in his hand and looked at Dugu Yan leisurely. “I’d advise you to cooperate.”
Right as he finished his statement.
Rows of figures appeared from the team of cars behind him and stood tall with murderous auras.
They moved uniformly and pointed their up to a hundred shiny black muzzles towards Dugu Yan and the rest.
They meant business.
The chief detective lit a cigarette and sneered as he saw Dugu Yan’s expression change suddenly.
She really thought that she was somebody.
Master Yu had even offended the entire International Association—would he be afraid of you?
The famous Miss Dugu turned fearful with merely a hundred-odd people.
If it were Miss Su, she would be able to disarm their people in a few minutes.
It wouldn’t hurt if there was no comparison.
After the chief detective and the rest interacted with Su Huiqing, whenever they met other women, they would instinctively compare them to Su Huiqing.
However, once they compared, those women became pathetic.
Regardless of capability, looks, disposition, or character, everyone paled in comparison to Su Huiqing.
After all, there was only one of such Su Huiqing.
Dugu Yan’s face turned pale with anger.
However, the chief detective wasn’t afraid at all. Although they couldn’t defeat Miss Su.
Dugu Yan and this bunch of people were totally not their match. He blew at his gun, looked sideways, and smiled at her. “Miss Dugu, please.”

Dugu Yan shot a hostile look at the chief detective and finally boarded the car in humiliation.
—
At the same time.
In a modified car on a road in Green City, Shen Anan’s face with deep-set eyes was raging. “She’s right before you and you still let her get away? Really useless!”
She had just been rescued from the labor camp by the Dark Angels and swore to make Su Huiqing lead a life worse than death.
The man sitting beside her frowned. “Watch what you say.”
Shen Anan moved her gaze away hazily. “If you can’t get her and can’t retrieve the $10 billion capital, all of you can just await punishment.”
The conversation ended.
The man wasn’t looking good either.
At that time, the sniper rifle had obviously already locked onto the target and almost assassinated her successfully. How did that woman coincidentally pick up a metal strand and even enter a car?
Did she notice the infrared light or discovered them?
The man subconsciously rejected this possibility. After all, they’d been trained—how could they be discovered by an ordinary person so easily?!
A crossroad was up ahead.
They only had two modified cars.
And that black car totally disappeared before their eyes.
Shen Anan and the rest had no choice but to alight and looked at the three forks in exasperation.
Shen Anan sneered. “You can escape once, but I don’t believe you can escape forever!”
The rest also thought that Su Huiqing had escaped.
However—
A loud roar of motors could be heard.
From the fork opposite them, a black car sped towards them.
Under the sunlight, the black car reflected cold and harsh rays.
On the driver’s seat, that person had an evil smile on her face. When she saw the horrified looks in that group of people’s eyes, she didn’t slow down at all!

In that instant, Shen Anan felt that she had already seen death coming.
When the black car was 10 centimeters away from them, it suddenly swerved 180 degrees!
The tires rubbed against the ground and produced an ear-piercing screech.
The car traveling at such a high speed suddenly stopped before them.
The dust and dried leaves rustled up by the speeding car had yet to settle back on the ground.
Su Huiqing opened the door, alighted from the car with one hand in her pocket, leaned against the car door lazily, and smiled calmly. “What do you think of this place that I chose?”
Her white blouse and black pants made her look unbelievably gorgeous.
After a moment of silence.
Shen Anan smiled and spoke. “Very good—suitable as a place for your burial!”
The other also reacted, immediately raised their guns, and pointed at Su Huiqing.
Su Huiqing looked sideways in a cool manner.
She raised her leg, kicked the gun off his hand, caught it with her left hand, and grabbed his arm with her right hand.
Just like this, the man’s watch on his wrist appeared before her.
Su Huiqing flipped the gun in her hand and kicked the man aside calmly.
She turned sideways with a cold aura and raised her brow mildly. “Who sent you guys?”
The crippled man just laid by her feet.
Silence.
Dead silence!
Even Shen Anan didn’t expect Su Huiqing to have such skills.
A moment later.
“Someone who wants you dead!” said Shen Anan with a vicious smile. She didn’t answer her question either. “What are you waiting for, strike now!”
Su Huiqing also guessed that she wouldn’t answer. However, it doesn’t matter—the ending would still be the same.
She flicked her hair and fiddled with the weapon in her hand.
Under the sunlight, a mild smile appeared on that face.
She retrieved the wire strand that she used previously and, with a flick of her wrist, simply cut through a person’s wrist!
The smell of blood mixed with dust filled the air.
She stroked the metal strand and said coldly, “This works—after I settle all of you, I’ll be back just in time to treat others to a meal.”

"Pick them up and arrange them the way they're supposed to."With trembling hands, I did what he asked quickly. Fret in the way I moved, picking up the books into my arms and lap one by one only for them to fall back on the floor over and over. I was a mess, upset, and it was obvious. This wasn't the kind of first meeting I dreamed of.The second prince was mean, and he was irritable. He had no clue who I am which made me resent it even more.He scowled as he watched me made mistakes after mistakes and after a while, he grew frustrated and bent over, picking the books himself."Forgive me, I didn't mean to snarl at you the way I did. I'm not used to being distracted. No one ever walks in my office unless they have my permission. I don't even know how the guardsmen let you in." This man was so impolite to me that I couldn't wait to get away from him."I apologize, your highness. I didn't mean to distract you in your private office." I stepped back getting ready to leave when a sliver of sunlight struck highlighting my face. "Wait!" He murmured and I turned back to look at him."You're beautiful." He said breathlessly.I would have blushed, but he was so mean and rude to me that his compliment lost its impact long ago."I need to go," I told him."Wait." A wave of panic rose in the tide of his voice. The prince was afraid to lose me. "What's your name, girl?" He asked quickly. "Jasmine, my name is Jasmine, your highness.""My Jasmine?" He murmured hopeful.
