Su Huiqing was awake even before the cold water made contact with her face.

She blinked.

Her long lashes fluttered.

Very discreetly, she observed her surroundings.

They were inside a car, and the destination was probably where she wished to go.

Dugu Wu was also awake. Her expression shifted the moment she noticed that she was all tied up. She glared at the person in front. “Who are you guys? How dare you kidnap me?!”

The driver and the person sitting beside him both had centipede-shaped scars down the side of their faces.

They looked very intimidating.

But they ignored her for now, but just complained. “Damn, why are there so many policemen out and about?!”

According to their original plan, they should have already reached their destination.

“If you don’t release me now, my father and brother will never let you off!” Dugu Wu noticed the line of police cars in front of them. She couldn’t resist raising her brows and smirking.

“Are these policemen all looking for you?” One of the scarred men turned to glare at Dugu Wu.

The scarred man frowned before looking at Su Huiqing. “Then you are Su Huiqing?”

Su Huiqing lowered her eyes, pretending to be too afraid to look up.

She just nodded.

No one noticed the chilly glint in her lowered eyes.

The scarred man swore. Those people had given them instructions to kidnap the girl called Su Huiqing. However, their description of her was unclear and looking at both Dugu Wu and Su Huiqing, they had no idea who was who. As a result, they just captured them both.

They never expected to have captured a ticking time bomb like Dugu Wu!

He couldn’t help spewing out a string of expletives.

“We can’t shake off all these policemen.” Those two scarred men exchanged looks before turning toward Dugu Wu. “We will find a place to release you. Can you make those policemen leave?”

Dugu Wu chuckled. “Of course.”

She turned to look scornfully at Su Huiqing, who was still shivering in fear.

“Alright.” The scarred man carefully evaded a police car and drove forward.

They came to a stop outside an ordinary-looking residential area.

“Dark Angel Zuo, we have brought the person here.” The two scarred men kneeled before a black-robed figure. “However, we also wrongly kidnapped another person and attracted the International Police.”

The black-robed man turned around and gazed at Su Huiqing and Dugu Wu. He fixed pondering eyes on Dugu Wu. “The Yu Family mobilized such a major force just because of you?”
