Chapter 203: Only If You Marry Yu Shijin

“What the hell do you want!” The Dugu Family matriarch didn’t know what particle beam guns were. She looked at Su Huiqing and snorted. “How dare you threaten me. Guns? Do you have any idea who the Dugu Family is?!”

With that, she looked toward Dugu Heng and smiled wickedly. “Little Heng, they are such violent, brutish people. We should be able to just kill them, right?”

She knew Dugu Heng’s character very well. He would never tolerate people who dared to challenge him so audaciously.

But this time, Dugu Heng didn’t lose his temper.

He also didn’t speak.

He just gazed thoughtfully at Su Huiqing. The particle beam gun was the newest product from Apollo. Even Dugu Heng hadn’t been able to get one for research.

Apollo was the Number One Arms Dealer.

Dugu Heng had carried out quite a number of deals with Apollo. That man was sly and devious. It was impossible to gain the slightest bit of advantage over him.

But this girl was able to arm an entire team.

Just this point alone was enough to make Dugu Heng look at her in a new light. “What basis do you have to behave so audaciously?”

“Do I need a reason to seek justice for my mother?” Su Huiqing wound the silver wire around her arm. “I will give you one minute. You guys decide whether you are going to apologize.”

“You are good.” Dugu Heng had to admit he had been out-maneuvered by a little girl.

He was able to escape, but he could not risk the lives of everyone in the entire restaurant.

Of course, the most pressing issue was how such a sick weapon appeared in Su Huiqing’s hands.

“Mother.” Dugu Heng glanced mildly at the Dugu Family matriarch. “Go apologize to Director Su.”

“Are you mad? You want me to apologize to a cheap commoner?!” The Dugu Family matriarch stared at Dugu Heng in disbelief.

Dugu Heng’s face stiffened.

He stared at the Dugu Family matriarch. “Using the Dugu Family name to threaten a commoner. It will be a blemish to the family name if word of this gets out. Should you, as an elder of this family, make such statements? I gave you status, but not as a means to suppress commoners. I hope that you will understand this concept today, and learn a lesson in humility.”

The Dugu Family matriarch was nearly puking blood in rage.

But she did not dare to oppose Dugu Heng’s command.

She looked at Su Ruohua and hissed through gritted teeth. “Sorry Director Su. I was in the wrong today.”

She was the Dugu Family matriarch. She was slapped in the face, had wine splashed onto her, and now she still had to lower herself and apologize to this bitch.

She never expected such an outcome.

She would be utterly humiliated if word of this got out.

She had never experienced such shame in her entire life!

Su Huiqing ignored her and just lowered her eyes to look at Su Ruohua. “Mother, are you satisfied with this apology? If not, we can switch to another method. I will fulfill anything you want.”

She had never done something like this before, without much prior planning. But she never expected Su Ruohua to clash with people from the Dugu Family.

Nevertheless, she had immediately started scheming since hearing about this incident.

All of it was for now.

Su Ruohua felt like she was dreaming. She always suspected her daughter was competent. Still, she never imagined that even the Dugu Family matriarch would be apologizing to her.

Especially what her daughter said earlier.

“Don’t push your luck!” The Dugu Family matriarch glared at Su Huiqing in rage.

“Shut up!” Su Huiqing pointed the gun directly at the Dugu Family matriarch’s head.

She would have already shot her if not for the fact that she was elderly.

She knew very well that her daughter was clashing against the Dugu Family all because of her.

For the first time in her life, she hated herself for her own uselessness.

Qingqing should have been peacefully studying at Monster University. She never expected to end up inviting such trouble.

“Don’t worry, I know what I am doing.” Su Huiqing grabbed Su Ruohua’s hand, her eyes deep and profound. “You don’t need to bother about them. Just tell me, do you accept this apology?”

“Yes, I accept Madam Dugu’s apology.” Su Ruohua patted the back of Su Huiqing’s hand. Her face had resumed its usual calm.

She stood up and glanced at Dugu Heng. “I hope that the Dugu Family Head will not take today’s incident to heart.”

Dugu Heng returned her gaze. “Of course.”

“Qingqing, let’s go.” Su Ruohua resolutely strode by Dugu Heng, with Su Huiqing in tow.

She did not even give him a sideways glance.

Still wielding their particle beam guns, Su Chu and team followed closely behind.

Even the restaurant boss never expected Su Huiqing and the gang to be able to turn their crisis into a victory.

“Do you know Apollo?” Dugu Heng turned his eyes on Su Huiqing.

Su Huiqing placed one hand on Su Ruohua’s shoulder to stop her. She glanced sideways with a wicked smile. “Of course. How else do you think I got these particle beam guns?”

Dugu Heng’s pupils dilated before he chuckled. His eyes shone with admiration. “You are one plucky girl.”

In the entire International Association, only a few people would dare speak to him like that. And they were all insane.

Even the previous generation’s commander-in-chief would not dare.

Even Song San, one of the candidates for this generation’s commander-in-chief, had to treat him with the utmost respect in order to gain his support.

“It’s useless to praise me.” Su Huiqing gave off an air of magnificence. She shot the Dugu Family matriarch a cold glance. “Dugu Family Head, you should teach your family members some manners. If any of you crosses my mother again… you should know that guns sometimes misfire.”

Dugu Heng’s smile faded at that. He gave the Dugu Family matriarch a sharp look. “I have indeed failed on this account.”

Su Huiqing didn’t bother listening to him anymore.

She just left, pulling Su Ruohua along with her.

Before they left, Dugu Wu glanced at the Dugu Family matriarch’s grim face, and couldn’t resist speaking up. “Sir, you are so unfair. Are you going to let them leave just like that?! Grandma apologized to them, and it is only right they should apologize too!”

“Apologize?” Dugu Heng started to turn and leave. “When we return, you better give me a good explanation of why you sought out Su Ruohua!”

The Dugu Family matriarch’s face changed.

Dugu Heng hated it when others interfered with his personal affairs.

At this point, she no longer cared about how the Su Family mother-daughter duo humiliated her. She only worried about how angry Dugu Heng would be later.

“Sir, Master Yu is here. He is waiting for you in the study.” The butler greeted them, looking somewhat discomfited.

“Yu Shijin?” Dugu Heng narrowed his eyes. “I got it. You may leave.”

The Dugu Family matriarch heaved a sigh of relief only after Dugu Heng went upstairs.

“Grandma, don’t be angry.” Dugu Wu poured a cup of tea for her.

“How can I not be angry?” The Dugu Family matriarch smacked the table viciously. “Look at Little Heng’s behavior today. He actually forced me to apologize to that bitch!”

“Eh, he is already so protective of the Su Family now. What if he marries Su Ruohua in the future? Will there still be any place for Grandma?” Dugu Wu lowered eyes to conceal the glint in her eyes.

The Dugu Family matriarch went quiet as a flurry of thoughts raced through her mind.

If this was before, she would never have thought that someone of that status could enter the Dugu Family. But looking at Dugu Heng’s attitude today…

Dugu Heng had been so protective toward them even though Su Ruohua already had a daughter…
