Necromancer: Divine-Level Summoning Chapter 23

"Go on, go on. I want to hear just how many flaws this Keaton has in your heart."
Azula looked at Audrey with a teasing expression. At this moment, she still had other thoughts. She wanted to see how much the prettiest girl in the class liked Keaton.
"This… this, he's very bad."
Audrey's face was as red as the sunset on the horizon. She subconsciously thought of the day on the lawn when Keaton stuffed his finger in her mouth.
In her anger and embarrassment, Audrey ignored Azula's question, immediately running out of the office.
Azula stood at the entrance of the office and smiled brightly as she watched Audrey's disheveled appearance.
Many years ago, she had also liked a boy in her class, just like Audrey.
Coincidentally, that boy was the same as Keaton. Both of them had the same sort of expression on their faces.
No matter how big the matter was, it was just a small matter to him!
But later on, the two of them had no choice but to part ways due to the arrangements of the Sky Blue Border's upper management.
The man went to the front lines and died, while Azula continued to live on in the rear.
"Audrey, don't be as haughty as me. Otherwise, you might lose the guy you like."
Azula muttered to himself as she leaned against the office doorframe.
"Since my story has already become a tragedy, I'll try to let your story become a rom-com filled with joy and laughter."
"Let me be your Protector. I will not allow my story repeat itself on you."
After more than a month of demon training, Audrey's talent was gradually being revealed.
Although Audrey hadn't broken through to become a Rank 2 mage, her foundation was extremely solid.

Indeed, Audrey's magic power was extremely low, but that didn't mean that she was lacking in talent.
On the contrary, Audrey's talent was very likely the best among this batch of students.
In the past month or so, Azula had been secretly increasing the food intake for Audrey without anyone knowing.
Furthermore, the Mana Recovery Potions she provided to Audrey was completely different from the ones provided to others.
It was also because of this that Azula discovered Audrey's secret.
This girl's meditation produced a lot of magic power, but all of it was not stored as mana. Instead, it was integrated into her body.
After confirming her hypothesis, Azula was so excited that she could not sleep for a few days and nights.
This was because Audrey's physique was the Physique of the Mage God that was only mentioned in the legends.
Although Audrey's physique hadn't fully awakened, being worlds apart from a true Physique of the Mage God, with sufficient resources, Audrey would turn into a bona fide Mage God.
"Keaton, since your talent is so outstanding that you can perform a quintuple summoning at Rank 2, I'll leave the task of protecting Audrey to you."
"Don't worry, I won't mistreat you in return."
...
Keaton's dormitory.
After his short nap, Keaton was prepared to leave his dorm and walk around the campus.
However, the moment he opened the door, he saw his teacher, Azula, standing at the door of the dormitory and smiling at him.
"Teacher, this is…" Keaton probed.
"I'm here to look for you!"
As Azula spoke, she pushed him aside and walked into the dormitory.
"Is that bed yours?"
After looking around, Azula turned around to look at Keaton and asked with a faint smile.
"Ah, the one on your left."

Keaton extended his finger and pointed at the cleanest bed in the room.
This bed was actually not his, since he had just woken up and had yet to tidy up his bed.
As he looked at the clean bed that Lil Ming pointed at, Azula smiled and nodded before plonking herself down on it.
"I'm looking for you today for two reasons."
Azula held out two fingers.
"First, you must be the freshman who summoned the two Black Warriors."
Looking at Azula's mocking expression, Keaton knew that what he had done in the arena had been found out by her.
Of course, he did not think that he could hide this matter forever.
Thus, he openly nodded and admitted it.
"Yes, during the freshmen reporting exercise, the person who summoned the two Black Warriors is me."
As soon as he finished speaking, Azula's voice was heard.
"That's not right. Isn't your Mana the lowest in the class? How can you have enough Mana to summon two creatures?"
'My mana is indeed the lowest in the class, but I didn't need magic power to summon magic creatures.'
Keaton replied in his heart. However, on the surface, he maintained a passive expression.
"Also, I heard that you summoned five creatures on the dueling stage not long ago. You even used a high ranked magic skill, Energy Link."
Azula knocked on the table, smiling blandly.
"I don't think a student who just became a beginner mage should have such combat ability."
Azula was not trying to accuse Keaton of having any ulterior motives.
She just wanted to use this method to make this reckless man listen to her.
But Keaton's answer completely shattered her wishful thinking.
"Teacher, your eyes are really sharp!"
"I thought I hid it well, but you saw through it."
Keaton revealed an exaggerated expression. He even stuck out his thumb and made an expression of praise.
"To be honest with you, I was already a peak Rank 2 magus before I came to school. I also know about the existence of Soul Suppression Academy."
At this point, Keaton put on a reminiscing expression.
"I don't have any other hobbies, I just like to be famous!"
"In order for everyone to remember me, I deliberately used only a portion of my mana during the physical examination to reach the minimum standard required for Soul Suppression Academy."
"After entering the school, I made plans in advance and summoned two magic creatures so that everyone could guess my identity."
"Actually, before today, I wasn't prepared to wrap things up, but what a coincidence that I actually encountered those second grade seniors that bullied the new students."
"I thought that this was a good opportunity to become famous, so I stopped pretending!"
After saying that, Keaton beamed at Asuro. He looked as simple and honest as he could.
