Necromancer: Divine-Level Summoning Chapter 33

They introduced themselves as they went on the journey together.
"My name is Samira, and this is my lady, Hurley."
Keaton looked at the two of them strangely, especially towards the short-haired girl, Hurley.
This lady was extremely impatient, even more so than Audrey!
However, Hurley's base nature was very kind person. After knowing that Kedan wasn't willing to trade for the Soul Calming Flower, she didn't force him. Instead, she chose took search for a new place to look for the flower instead.
Keaton admired her attitude very much and thought that she was someone he could befriend.
"My name is Keaton!"
"Handsome, you're very strong. I wonder what type of magus you are!"
It was Samira who spoke. She was more lively and extroverted.
Keaton laughed and slowly explained.
"Just call me by my name. There's no need to keep calling me handsome. Otherwise, I'll misunderstand that you have some unspeakable thoughts about me."
"I am a magus specializing in the Dark Summoner system. Although I am slightly stronger, I am not particularly strong."
As soon as he finished speaking, neither Samira nor Hurley looked too surprised.
Much earlier when they first met with Keaton, they saw the two Dark Warriors beside him and guessed his background.
What they didn't know was that they were only seeing things on the surface.
Keaton's real identity was actually a Necromancer that everyone hated.
However, Keaton knew that he would never let the two women discover his true identity in this lifetime, because if that happened, he would fall into an extremely difficult situation.
During the next part of the journey, the lively Samira quickly got into a heated conversation with Keaton.
Hurley, who was watching by the side, had second thoughts.
Throughout the journey, she had always been observing Keaton. To be honest, Keaton was good appearance wise, and Samira was also not an airhead that would accept someone just because they were good looking.

However, compared to Keaton's looks, Hurley was more concerned about his strength.
"Mr. Kedan, your strength is quite good. If there's time, can you give me some pointers?"
"If you want to fight with me, just say it. There's no need to beat around the bush. However, I advise you not to fight with me. With your current strength, you are simply no match for me."
Keaton had no intention of being polite with Hurley, directly telling her the results based on what he thought.
"Oh! That might not be true."
Hurley raised an eyebrow. Keaton might have been able to clear a lair of demons alone, but Hurley wasn't afraid of him.
Hurley was a mage belonging to the Fire system. Unlike other mages, her combat style was more inclined to close combat rather than long distance.
All of her magic skills focused on physical combat, thus making group attacks her weakness.
It was for this reason that Hurley did not wish to venture deeper into the region.
A creature like the demons typically lived in groups. Even though Hurley excelled at solo combat, she could not defeat a group of demons on her own.
However, it was different for solo battles. Even if Keaton could summon five or six creatures, Hurley would not be afraid at all.
At the same time, Samira, who had been talking intimately with Kedan, came out to take Hurley's side.
"Brother Keaton, my Miss is very powerful. Your summoning spell may be very useful against the demons, but against our Miss, it may not be effective."
"Oh, really? If we get the chance, we can spar and test it out."
Keaton smiled gently. These two girls were a little arrogant. If he didn't find a chance to teach them a lesson, soon they would be floating in the sky from all that ego.

The three of them chatted as they walked towards the direction indicated on the map.
"That place is called the Fallen Sky Lake. It's at the periphery of the Fallen Sky Canyon. Although we can't see the exact location on the map, we can still determine the approximate location of the Fallen Sky Lake just by judging the landmarks."
Samira pointed to a spot on the map as she explained to Keaton.
"Yo ho, you two young ladies sure have guts. This Fallen Sky Lake is famous for being a dangerous place, with many demons residing there. Even with my strength, I have to be extremely careful if I want to go there."
During his lessons at the Soul Suppression Academy, Keaton had read about the Fallen Sky Lake as written in the textbooks.
According to the textbooks, this was a restricted area for mages below Rank 4. If a Rank 3 mage did not have the protection of an expert, there was only death awaiting them after entering.
Apart from this, the Fallen Sky Canyon in the surroundings was also an extremely dangerous place, the danger far exceeding that of the Fallen Sky Lake.
However, as with every dangerous place, precious magical materials abounded.
It was also because of this reason that countless mages went to the Fallen Skies Canyon to search for opportunities, but not everyone was lucky. Only a few people could escape unscathed from the Fallen Sky Canyon to tell the tale. Most of them left their lives there.
Hurley and Samira nodded when they heard Keaton's words.
If it wasn't because they needed the Soul Calming Flower, they would never have come here.
After they formed an alliance, Hurley had once again asked Keaton, expressing her intention to exchange for the Soul Calming Flower.
Unfortunately, when Keaton put away the Soul Calming Flower earlier, he had immediately exchanged it for his Shop Points. He now had no way of exchanging it with Hurley.
Half a day later, the three of them finally arrived at the region near Fallen Sky Lake.
Even though it was already evening, the surroundings of the Fallen Sky Canyon were still blisteringly hot.
However, the moment Keaton and company stepped into the Fallen Sky Canyon, they immediately felt a chill that couldn't be dispelled.
This chill was not entirely caused by the trees nor the Fallen Sky Lake itself.
The crucial point was that darkness elements hovered everywhere.
The darkness elements quietly devoured the light and the warmth around them.
It was like a huge beast with its mouth wide open, quietly waiting for its prey to walk into its mouth.
Fortunately, Keaton and the other two were not ordinary mages. They all possessed strength that was above their peers.
As such, they were not too affected.
After walking along the road for a while, they all heard a series of mournful howls.
Dong dong dong!
A series of heavy footsteps could be heard from the forest. A few demons followed behind the sounds, howling as they charged towards the three of them.
