Chapter 1160: Imprisoned Titan
Of course, Lin Li could only think about those things in his head. After all, it involved too many things, and if he were to say it out loud, he would probably be treated as a madman.
As the two teams continued to move forward, the extremely large shadow gradually became clearer in front of everyone. When they saw the appearance of the shadow, they were instantly stunned. The massive shadow was a living Titan.
The topless Titan sat on the ground with his lower body covered in an armor dress made of dragon hide. He looked just like a statue carved out of a mountain. The head of the Titan was as large as a castle, and his nostrils were like tiny caves. Previously, he was said to be alive because his bare chest was still heaving up and down, and his breathing was heavy.
Behind the Titan, there was a large rift of a certain width, but the opposite was already blocked by the fog. There was only a long lock bridge that stretched all the way towards the fog. If the rift was placed outside, even a Legendary powerhouse would be able to fly straight through. However, everyone knew that it wouldn’t be that easy. Otherwise, there wouldn’t be a lock bridge.
Seeing that the Titan seemed to be sleeping, the two teams of people didn’t need any instructions at all as they slowed down in unison for fear that a slight movement would wake the Titan up. Everyone knew that the Titan definitely wasn’t there to sleep. It might just be there to guard the back of the lock bridge.
When they came closer, they discovered some abnormalities with the Titan. In this world full of light, there were countless rays of bright light on the Titan’s body, and they seemed like chains made of light that were wrapped tightly around the Titan.
Faced with this situation, both teams had the same idea: to quietly bypass the Titan, and then pass through that lock bridge to reach the opposite side of the rift. Even Lin Li was not willing to mess with a living Titan at this point.
In the prehistoric times, the Titans were powerful existences that competed with ancient wyrms to dominate the world, and each of them had terrifying strength. Although both teams now had five Sanctuary powerhouses in total, among whom there were high-level ones like Edmund and Lin Li, it was naturally best not to fight.
However, just as the two teams approached carefully, the Titan suddenly opened his large sun-like eyes, which began emitting glaring rays of light.
Immediately afterwards, the Titan roared loudly, which sounded like a mountain had crumbled. The sound waves shook the two teams, and caused the weaker ones to tumble all over. Besides, with the roaring, the Titan that was seated on the ground suddenly stood up, and the light chains that wrapped his body tightly shattered fragilely.
Seeing this situation, Lin Li could not help but sigh in his heart. It seemed that the battle was inevitable. In fact, it made sense. Previously, it was all wishful thinking on their part. As a Sanctuary powerhouse, the Titan had obviously noticed the arrival of the crowd.

When seated, the Titan was already like a mountain. After he stood up, he was simply massive. Its foot alone was almost the size of an alchemical battleship of the Gilded Kingdom. When he opened his palm, it was as if it could cover the sky, and his pinkie was even larger than a single person.
When the Titan stood up, the two teams immediately prepared for a battle. Of course, defense was the most important. Besides, they had begun evacuating far away while keeping their guard up. A battle of such a high level was not something that they could participate in. A slight ripple would probably be enough to turn them into ashes.
While the two teams left, Edmund, Lin Li, and the other three Sanctuary powerhouses immediately emanated powerful mana fluctuations in hopes that they would attract the attention of the Titan so that their subordinates would not be slaughtered. If the Titan really had to deal with the two teams of Legendary powerhouses, it would not be considered a massacre, but killing mosquitos or ants.
Although the five Sanctuary powerhouses were much smaller than the Titan in size, and seemed like mosquitoes flying around a person, the Titan dared not belittle the mana fluctuations. After all, the five Sanctuary powerhouses were just like him.
Hence, after breaking free from the light chains, the Titan didn’t launch crazy attacks like the others who just got out in such situations. Instead, he paid attention to Edmund, Lin Li, and the others while opening his palm and extending it to the side.
Immediately afterwards, thunderbolts appeared on his palm as the Titan moved, and they even rapidly became stronger. In the blink of an eye, a spear that was like a huge pillar began flickering as the Titan held it tightly. It was precisely a Titan Dragon Spear, a weapon unique to the Titans.
Seeing that the Titan had even taken out the Titan Dragon Spear, Edmund hurriedly tried to explain to the Titan his intention of coming. “Please wait a moment, we came here with no intention to be your enemy—”
However, before Edmund could finish, the Titan suddenly became furious, and hollered at Edmund and the others, “Horrible and despicable humans, stop trying to sell your lies. I was trapped here for thousands of years, and your despicable and shameless deeds will definitely incur the wrath of the Titans!”
After roaring, the Titan did not wait for Edmund to say anything else, and simply waved the Titan Dragon Spear in his palm, after which thousands of thunderbolts emerged from the void and bombarded Edmund. The thunderbolts that emerged from the void were not the lightning magic spells that mages cast using Elemental Laws, but the creation thunderbolts born from the Endless Void.
The thousands of void thunderbolts swarmed out of the void like a tidal wave. They condensed waves of thunderbolts that began roaring and swarming towards Edmund and the others. The terrifying thunderbolts alone were enough to make any Legendary powerhouse die. The thunderbolts that gathered had a terrifying might that seemed to be able to destroy heaven and earth.
At this point, Edmund also knew that the battle was unavoidable. Hence, he had no choice but to point the scepter in his hand forward, instantly opening a Domain World that was full of dim light. Edmund’s Domain World was just like a chaotic world, and the Laws in the Domain World were completely different from what ordinary mages understood.

In Edmund’s Domain World, the four elemental laws of earth, fire, water, and wind were completely manifested in a bizarre way. For example, the earth flowed like water, while the flames nourished everything, and the water burned everything that it touched. The invisible wind had a dense aura, and the manifestations were not fixed, either. They would change rapidly and make the entire Domain World seem extremely chaotic. If an ordinary mage saw all this, he would probably go mad immediately. Only Edmund who created this world would know what the true Laws were.
In the face of the tidal wave of thunderbolts, Edmund’s chaotic Domain World did not even produce any hindrance, allowing the endless thunder to pour into the Domain World. However, when the thunderbolts surged into the Domain World, they were immediately warped by the Laws of chaos in the Domain World without damaging it at all.
Compared to Edmund, Elder Zumar and High Priest Poer had a much harder time coping with the thunderbolts. Clearly, the Titan was a Sanctuary powerhouse, and even after being imprisoned here for thousands of years, he still seemed as strong as before. Elder Zumar and High Priest Poer did not get any advantage at all.
Elder Zumar and High Priest Poer, too, were already self-aware, and knew that it would not be easy to deal with the Titan alone. Hence, the two of them joined forces at the beginning. Both of them felt like they were in the same boat. Hence, it was right to join forces. However, fortunately, the one that the Titan wanted to deal with was Edmund. Otherwise, if Elder Zumar and High Priest Poer had to face him, they would be in danger of falling.
Lin Li did not seem to have it as easy as Edmund, as he was simply resisting the impact of the thunderbolt using the Domain World. However, under the bombardment of the endless thunderbolts, his Domain World seemed like a reef in the sea, allowing the wind and waves to crash into it while it remained still.
Of course, it was not that Lin Li was already strong enough to ignore the Titan’s attack. The debris of the stars, Thunderbolt, that he held in his hand could be said to be the origin of all lightning, and restrained the power of thunderbolts. When he incorporated the power of the debris of the stars, Thunderbolt, into his Domain World, the Domain World was not strengthened greatly, but it gave Lin Li an unparalleled advantage in the fight against the thunderbolts of the Titan.
Edmund did not know that Lin Li had such a heavenly magical weapon. Hence, when he saw Lin Li resist the Titan’s thunderbolts, he was still extremely surprised even though he had expected Lin Li’s strength.
Although Edmund seemed to have it relatively easier, the Laws of distortion could not be used casually, especially to distort the creation thunder mastered by the Titans. He was the only one who knew the dangers involved; hence, the impact he suffered was far beyond the others. It also gave him a better understanding of Lin Li’s strength.
However, the enraged Titan obviously did not intend to just give up. After sending out the thunderbolts, the Titan Dragon Spear in his hand swung upwards towards Edmund. In the hands of the Titan, the Titan Dragon Spear was like a battle spear, but in the eyes of the small humans, it was just like a mountain that was crashing down on him. As the Titan Dragon Spear was swung, it resulted in a massive gale that was even more violent than wind magic spells.
If it was just a mountain, it wouldn’t be considered much for a Sanctuary powerhouse. The Sanctuary powerhouses were definitely strong enough to smash a mountain with the swing of their hands. After all, the Sanctuary-realm was close to the realm of the gods.
However, at this point, Edmund was facing the Titan, which even the ancient wyrms feared, and could not be compared to mountains and stone pillars. The Titan Dragon Spear had the most overwhelming Laws of Destruction. During the prehistoric times, many powerful ancient wyrms died under the attack of the Titan Dragon Spear.
Before the Titan Dragon Spear actually came into contact with Edmund’s Domain World, the immense oppressive force was already distorting Edmund’s Domain World. The aura of destruction and rebirth that emanated from the Titan Dragon Spear penetrated Edmund’s Domain World, and weakened the laws in it.
The real creation thunderbolt was said to have broken through the world of chaos to create the current world of Anril. Although Sanctuary powerhouses were powerful, they had yet to reach the point of being able to create a world. If the world was a piece of iron, the Domain World would be a wooden board. Since the creation thunderbolt could cut through an iron board, it would be a piece of cake for it to cut the wooden board.
Although what Edmund was facing could not be considered the creation thunder in the true sense, and was only a Titan Dragon Spear that contained some Laws of the creation thunderbolt, the impact on the World Laws couldn’t be ignored. Edmund knew that with his own Laws of chaos, it would probably be hard to resist this fierce blow, so he did not dare to slow down at all, and immediately retreated.
Edmund dodged in time, but the Domain World was still grazed by the tip of the Titan Dragon Spear. However, that already caused a huge rift to form in his Domain World, and a large amount of mana that Edmund had poured into the Domain World was immediately released like a flood without restraint, as if his pocket had been cut.
Fortunately, Edmund was a peak Sanctuary powerhouse, and he repaired it in the blink of an eye. Immediately afterwards, he blasted the Titan.
