Reincarnated As An Energy With A System Chapter 49

"Alright, I'm leaving for a few hours. I will come back tonight, Okay?" Ning said to Hyesi.
"As you wish, Inikaka." Hyesi complied without question.
There were no bugs or animals on the island so Ning was pretty safe for now. He walked into the shrine that was his home and sat down inside on the soft floor.
"Before I start anything, answer a few questions, System. First of all, do I use up energy from whatever I am doing right now with my body?" he asked.
"I see. What about absorbing energy? Do I absorb my body's energy?" he asked. He remembered all the horrible fates those wolves and birds had to face when he first unlocked Parasite Ability. He wondered if he was doing the same thing right now as well.
"Oh," the answer had surprised Ning. "What about the extra energy I can get from foods and other stuff?" he asked.
'When I have no cap, huh. I guess I should start absorbing a little less than the cap so I can absorb extra energies,' he thought.
He then asked another question, "You said that my body will die if I don't host it previously, right?"
"That's kind of morbid. Is there any way to not have it die when I leave it?" he asked.
"Ah, yes. I can do that. I don't think I would have remembered that though. Thanks, system. Let's see, do I have any other questions?" he wondered. "I can't think of any right now. Whatever, I will ask it later if I think of it. For now, let's start cultivating."
"So, I start by trying to feel my first Qi, don't I?" he thought, remembering the information given to him through the basic cultivation knowledge. "I need to follow my cultivation method and try to sense the Qi around me, huh?"

He closed his eyes and pushed his human body's perception to the limited as he started to follow what the cultivation method told him to do. Having a spiritual root, one could immediately start using the cultivation methods without worries and that was exactly what he planned to do the moment he sensed any Qi. Without sensing Qi, however, it wouldn't work at all.
Ning ignored as much sense as he could to try and sense Qi. However, being an Energy, he could see and hear everything around him even when his eyes and ears were closed. So, he sat there for an hour, trying to feel the Qi and failing every time.
He really didn't have any talent in cultivation. Thankfully, he had a spiritual root now that wouldn't stop him from climbing up the cultivation ladder even if it took him millions of years.
Finally, after a few more hours, he sensed Qi. It felt like a small speck of invisible light, only seen to his body, floating in the air. He slowly pulled at the Qi with his will and drew it to his body.
Once the Qi entered his body, he shuddered a little and then calmed down immediately afterward. He had now entered the Qi condensation realm and had started on the path of a cultivator.
Now that he had drawn in his first Qi, he could start using his cultivation method. He took the Qi and started moving it around his body using the body to get it used to the Qi, while at the same time slowly pulling in more and more Qi from the environment.
He was capped out for the day, so he pulled in as much Qi as he could by nightfall without worrying about stealing part of the Qi. Which wasn't really a lot, to begin with. He opened his eyes and finally stopped cultivating.

He started moving his fingers and felt something different. It was almost like he had more strength in him now than when he had started cultivating.
'Am I cultivating at a proper speed?' he wondered. He closed his eyes and tried to feel inside him once more and he did find Qi. He just didn't know how far he was into cultivation with this amount of Qi. He didn't even know if this little amount was good or bad.
'I should upgrade my cultivation knowledge as soon as possible,' he thought.
Now that it was night, he walked back to the village, but something weird happened. For one, he could feel a sort of nimbleness on his feet that wasn't there when he had arrived here. Also, through his body, he could swear that he could almost see the forest and tell apart the trees at night.
He looked into the sky and it was a cloudy night. And yet, he could see some silhouette of the trees. 'Are these the result of my cultivation?' he wondered. 'I wonder how well the body cultivation would work for me,' he thought.
Slowly, he made his way back to the village where the villagers had already set up a fire with some meat cooking on top of it. When they saw him arrive, they immediately called him to the center nearby the fire and gave him a giant piece of the meat.
He looked at the food and saliva started filling his mouth. 'How long has it been since I've eaten anything?' he wondered. He hadn't even kept track of the time, yet he could tell that it had been forever.
Without anymore thinking, he bit into the food, eating away the soft and juicy meat right off of the bone. He tried to stop tears from forming in his eyes as he thought, 'I am so glad that I decided to become a human again.'

The Trespasser
Synopsis Following his di—instincts, David finds himself in a weird situation; the next thing he knows, he's in a different world, dying, and manhandled by a big-ass alien. When the Source comes to his aid, granting him the access that—like every other sapient—he's due, David barely manages to get out of the fight with his life intact, but is that enough? Of course it isn't. The very Source giving him powers is also poisoning him to death. Oh, there she is, the petite female alien. Will that be enough to save him? Of course it won't. If he wants to be saved, he has first to save himself. The only way to do so is by getting to know the world around him, but even before that... Why the bloody hell did I have to be called Deviant!? *** Blurb? Blurb. The Trespasser starts slowly, I believe I've written a decent world, and I want you to find out what it's all about, won't just throw it in your face because of *levels*. I do not like stories that don't make sense. David is not a murderhobo, he respects life and answers to the world and the weird situations thrown at him with irony and sarcasm; so you are looking for easy killing streaks, you will not find them here. So, a man finds himself into the wild? It's a different world, and yet he can breathe its air? Finds himself in a lucky-low-level zone? Oh, look at that, people speak English—how likely is that? So, nope, not for me, gentleman. You won't find anything of the likes here. Again, a man finds himself in a new world but only thinks about the system? Yeah, that's not exactly how it works. David will try to find out what it's really all about, what the aliens want, how they work, why is that Fay really helping him? You can kill somebody to get levels, and yet there is not even a form of police? Not gonna happen here. Man becomes suddenly overpowered in a world where people can live for thousands of years by having enough luck to face only lower-level people? Hahaha—nope. Lastly...Spaceships and fantasy with LitRPG... say what!? Well, what's wrong with that? Let's make it happen, shall we? *** You want even more info? Really? Alright... David will start from the very bottom of the food chain, so there will be a settling arc—it's inevitable. David will find true companions, with personalities and backstories, and they will have a life of their own. There will be enemies, and those enemies will have a life of their own, too; there will be no evil just because. The world-building will have true depth; it will not exist just because the protagonist visits it. There will be both Fantasy and (Soft) Sci-fi—yeah, you heard that right. There will be rationality to every action taken, as long as the characters are aware of what is going on. There will be a godly system. You will come to read because of the world-building, but you will stay for the characters. The dead stay dead, and you will weep for them. There will be no action without a reaction. Lastly, there will be laughs. Are you still up for it? Then get in but fasten your seatbelts because it's going to be a wild ride. *** Release Days: Twice a week Release Time: ~09:00 PM UTC Words per chapter: ~3000 This web novel is also available on other platforms.

Nameless Hypocrite
"Bastard, surrender yourself!" "You think you can escape our encirclement?!" "An omnicidal fiend like you can only atone in death!" Despite his precarious situation, a young man ignored the union's provocations. His violet robe was in tatters, showing the incredible number of attacks he received, yet there was no sign of injury. Noticing the light smile tugging at his lips, the pursuing heroes warily watched him, cautious of a final attack. It was only by working together that they could corner a monster like him. An arrow pierced the air, beelining towards the young man. A malicious gleam revealed itself in his eyes; he unsheathed his sword, a long, curved blade, and deflected the projectile, spiking it into the ground. The archer's eyes widened before being split in two. He died suddenly and indignantly. The group backed away; their former confidence diminished greatly by the invisible counter. It was then that the young man sighed, his voice full of lament and self-pity. "Being a saint truly is difficult, even the world cannot understand my righteous actions." The expressions of the surrounding heroes turned ugly. Such blatant hypocrisy! Yes, the protagonist is a villain. We don't do morals here. New chaps when I write them
