Soul Weapon Awakening, My Weapon Is A Harmonica Chapter 28

The giant dragon returned to his nest with lingering fear.
"That thundercloud is too terrifying. Why is it hovering above the mountain range?"
"And that human just now, with mere two-star power, was actually able to fight with my three-star mid-tier power."
The dragon's mind was currently filled with all sorts of problems. He had been cultivating obediently for more than ten years, and all of the things he had experienced during those years were nothing compared to the experiences he had in the past few days.
First, there was the thundercloud, which was full of pressure, then his Flame Crystal.
The thief had actually used his human body to take its furious attack head-on. Although he did not use any of his skills like Dragon Flame, his physical strength could be said to be unrivaled in the continent just simply because he was a dragon.
Finally, there was the strange black-armored knight. The ominous aura from his body could faintly suppress his dragon aura.
One had to know that he was a pure-blooded flame dragon. Among all the dragon clans, the power of his bloodline itself could already be considered extremely powerful. Otherwise, it would be impossible for him to cultivate to three-star in just ten years.
On Titan continent, the human body could absorb soul power the best. Therefore, humans had a natural advantage in terms of cultivation speed. Most humanoid races were the same, such as dwarves and goblins.
As for other races, they had a unique advantage in terms of longevity. Take the dragon race as an example, a pure-blooded giant dragon's lifespan was about a thousand years.
With this kind of lifespan, the only price to pay would be the giant dragon's cultivation speed. It would definitely be dozens of times slower than the human race.
But even so, the flame giant dragon was able to step into the three-star rank in a short ten years. This was enough to show the strength of its bloodline.

After organizing his thoughts for a long time, the flame dragon finally calmed down.
"This human's strong affinity with fire-type is definitely not just due to the changes brought about by the crystal. If I can obtain this secret, then my power will definitely have a qualitative leap."
"And this human seems to have just entered this place from the outskirts of the Magical Beasts Mountain Range. Who knows, he might be able to find out what's going on with the thunderclouds above his head."
"And that knight in black armor, what exactly is he?"
"Aiya, so annoying. Whatever. In any case, that human should thank me for sparing his life. If I can obtain that method of cultivation, Hehe."
The giant dragon shook its huge head. The high-intensity thinking made it upset. In any case, it only returned to the nest because it did not want to lower itself to the level of that human. The crystal was just a snack. If he absorbed it, so be it. It was definitely not because the dragon was afraid of a mere human!
When he thought of this, a human-like smile actually appeared on the gigantic dragon's face as it fell into a deep sleep. Fighting was simply too tiring, and a series of ear-splitting snores rang out from within the cave.
At this moment, Copperfield, who was sitting cross-legged outside the cave, furrowed his brows tightly as waves of heat continuously emerged from his entire body.
His body became hotter and hotter as heat waves seeped out from his limbs and bones. However, under Copperfield's intentional control, wisps of pure fire-type soul power continuously fused into his bones, flesh, and blood as it seeped out, his body slowly reabsorbed them.
Copperfield discovered that after the fire attribute soul power entered his body, it appeared extremely overbearing as it continuously rammed into the meridians in his body. His original black-grey soul power seemed to be able to suppress that violent fire-type soul power.

The black-grey soul power clung onto his tendons and meridians, defending against the violent ramming of the fire-type soul power. While defending, it would also intentionally leak out a few wisps of purer soul power to absorb it.
Seeing this, Copperfield carefully split out a wisp of black-grey soul power that belonged to himself, completely enveloping the berserk fire-type soul power.
The result of this was that the two wisps of soul power fiercely collided within Copperfield's body. Even with his own soul power's defense, Copperfield couldn't help but feel his blood churn as blood continuously flowed out from the corners of his mouth.
However, as the two strands of soul power collided intensely, wisps of pure fire-type soul power were extracted from the black-grey soul power ball and absorbed by Copperfield.
As time continued to pass, the red soul power within the black-red soul power continued to fade, no longer having its previous ferocious appearance.
Finally, a dark red soul power vortex appeared beside Copperfield's original black-grey soul power vortex. It was about a quarter of the size of the black one.
This time around, the fire-type soul power was clearly much gentler than before, as the berserk had been removed from it.
As the berserk soul power fluctuations within his body were suppressed, Copperfield's body gradually returned to normal, and his entire body was no longer red.
His tightly knitted brows also slowly relaxed.
Copperfield once again had the time to think. If he had not suppressed the intense soul power fluctuations within his body in time, he would have likely been shattered by the berserk soul power fluctuations, causing him to bleed to death.
Copperfield slowly opened his eyes. The thunderclouds in the sky were still dense, making it impossible for him to know the exact time. Since there was still some light, it should be around 10 pm.
He gently moved his fingers. His meridians were still filled with this feeling of swelling. It was caused by the absorption of too much soul power within a short period of time.
Soul power extended into his body. One large and one small, two soul power spirals slowly circulated within Copperfield's body. Unexpectedly, there was no conflict between them.
According to Copperfield's understanding, after awakening, a soul master would only rely on their soul's type of power to determine their own cultivation plans. For example, Chester's Hammer of Death was a fire-type soul. Under such circumstances, it was impossible for it to produce a second type of soul power whirlpool.
Copperfield had never heard of this situation within his body happening before.
However, after possessing two soul power vortexes, Copperfield would no longer have an opponent within this continent. Why?
In the same continent, Copperfield possessed an even greater amount of soul power than others due to him possessing two types of soul power.
The abundance of soul power did not make Copperfield feel comfortable. Even if Copperfield did not need to recharge his necklace, he still needed to find a magical beast to fight to expand some of his power.
Only then would he be able to completely stabilize his weak soul power. Otherwise, if his cultivation foundation grew too quickly, it would affect Copperfield's future path of cultivation.
Copperfield couldn't be more clear about this logic.
Copperfield's mind was a little muddled. This was caused by too much soul power being squeezed into his meridians. This was also because Copperfield didn't want his cultivation foundation to rise too quickly, so he intentionally suppressed it.
Even so, Copperfield's current cultivation realm had already reached two-star high-tier. One had to know that Copperfield had just barely advanced to two-star two days ago. If the outside world were to find out about such a cultivation speed, it would cause a huge commotion.
As for the Cavendish Family, they would definitely regret their foolish actions of not killing Copperfield then due to their own pride.
Oh, did I just fight a dragon?

Author's Thoughts: What is litRPG (From wikipedia) - LitRPG, short for Literary Role Playing Game, is a literary genre combining the conventions of MMORPGs with science-fiction fantasy novels.[1] LitRPG is a literary genre where games or game-like challenges form an essential part of the story. A LitRPG work simultaneously narrates the story of characters inside and outside of the game-world. At least some of the characters in a LitRPG novel therefore understand that they are playing a game: they are 'meta-aware'. So, while Tolkien's Lord of the Rings is a fantasy novel, a book about people creating avatars and interacting in a Lord of the Rings MMORPG would be a LitRPG novel. Why do I read them? You know, I am not too sure. I love MMOs. I played them, quit them, joined up and repeated the cycle. They are fun! They are a massive waste of time but so are most games. Do I want to read about someone else playing them? Sort of?The advent of VR and the possibility of VR someday becoming so immersive that you can't tell them from reality sets the imagination on fire. What if this could be life? But most stories fall short. At the end of the day the protagonist hangs up his VR helmet and goes to have dinner with his mom and dad or other family and it becomes meaningless. It's like the story that ends because the main character woke up and nothing you read matters. There have been some books that explore the concept of the intersection of reality and total immersion VR. Enders Game is a classic. There were a few others that escape me but they exist, however, the cross between the game and reality is weak.So what if the game was real? The technology needed for total immersion VR is so advanced that by the time we reach that goal technology should have naturally evolved to include several items. You must have direct neural input. You simply can't have a total immersion (all senses and perfect presence) experience without this basic prerequisite. If you have direct neural access, you can probably do neat things like feed knowledge and skills directly to that person. You can undoubtedly do many horrible things as well. Muscles are controlled by the brain. If you control the brain why would you let the body just sit there and rot? A person that sits unmoving for 24 hours a day will have their body whither away just like a coma patient. However, if you control the brain you could control the muscles. On a basic level, this would be isometric impulses, working muscle group against muscle group to avoid atrophy. Taken to its logical conclusion you would be able to gain muscle mass and program muscle memory. The flip side is that you could remote control their body... but let's not go there. So what would people do if it were real? Well, they would probably limit and regulate it since the drawbacks are very obvious. Even if you look at the basic aspects of this you can see some negative possibilities. Look at the Sword Art Online anime. Personally, I think they missed the boat by putting a bomb in the VR helmet. Do you really need a bomb when you have direct access to the brain? So what kind of events would you need to have a situation where the obvious drawbacks haven't been explored? Maybe a society where the advancement of technology has so far outstripped the explorations of its applications that ignorance was truly bliss? Okay, so I had to put in an alien invasion to kickstart the premise, but that was just one of the possibilities.
