Soul Weapon Awakening, My Weapon Is A Harmonica Chapter 35

Doragon stared at the heart of lava in front of him.
As the heart floated up and down, Doragon couldn't take his eyes off it.
What if I take this treasure away now for myself?
Doragon couldn't help but think of this voice.
But Copperfield had discovered this thing first, and Copperfield had also killed the fire python.
At this moment, Doragon's heart was incomparably conflicted.
If Doragon wanted to take the lava heart away, with his status as a giant fire dragon, he would be able to slowly find another way out from the bottom of the lava.
Copperfield was unable to enter the lava. This was Doragon's greatest advantage against him.
However, the meal that the human had prepared for him... No, he had already promised it that he would allow its fire-type soul power to become even more powerful, even if he had to bind it to some contract.
However, if he took this heart now, after absorbing it, his strength would increase massively.
After thinking for a moment, Doragon used his huge tail to sweep up the heart, swimming towards the depths of the lava.
...
By the shore, Copperfield watched Doragon drill into the lava.
If the treasure beneath the lava was really the heart of lava, he had already thought that Doragon might decide to slip away with it. After all, the heart was an extremely rare treasure for fire-type cultivators. That kind of allure, Copperfield could imagine it.
If Doragon really did run away with the heart, Copperfield actually wouldn't mind. With his current strength, it wouldn't be a problem for him to kill three-star magical beasts.
Although it was more troublesome, he didn't need to worry too much about the energy in the necklace.
If Doragon hadn't run away, Copperfield would have truly trusted this silly-looking dragon.

Although both sides had fought before, this dragon had never harbored any killing intent towards him. Copperfield was very clear about this. Otherwise, when he was suppressing the violent soul power within the flame crystal, Doragon would have attacked him. Even if he didn't die then, he would have been heavily injured.
Moreover, the Flame Crystal was indeed Doragon's. Copperfield hadn't expected that there would be a dragon living in the cave.
But now, about an hour had passed, and the giant dragon still hadn't come up.
...
Copperfield didn't hesitate and turned to leave.
Just as he turned around, the magma behind him surged, and the giant flame dragon flew out from the magma. Amidst the sparks in the sky, it slowly landed in front of Copperfield.
The giant tail rolled an amber-shaped crystal into Copperfield's hand.
"Here, the thing you wanted."
Doragon stared at the heart of lava in Copperfield's hand, seemingly reluctant to part with it.
Copperfield looked at Doragon and pinched the space between his eyebrows.
He said with a headache.
"Have you thought about it?"
"If you sign the contract, you have a 50% chance of becoming stronger, but you won't be able to go against my will."
"If you don't sign the contract, I can give you half of the energy within the heart."
At this moment, Doragon was extremely straightforward.
"I'll sign It!"
Actually, half an hour ago, Doragon had indeed thought of taking the heart away. However, after walking halfway, he suddenly felt that this person called Copperfield's luck seemed to be pretty good. He had only been in the volcanic region for two days, and not only had his cultivation level increased by two stars, but he was also actually able to find an incredible treasure like the heart of lava.

Furthermore, after Copperfield absorbed just one Flame Crystal, the black armored knight that he had summoned also started possessing the same fire-type soul power as Copperfield. This was something that Doragon could clearly see.
He felt rather bored in this mountain range. It seemed that there was no harm in following Copperfield, especially when it came to food!
If the people knew what Doragon was thinking at this moment, they would definitely sigh at the misfortune of their bloodline.
If one paid attention to another's strength, it was fine if they were to follow the strong, but the problem was that Doragon was actually considering due to the food.
Copperfield was a little surprised when he heard Doragon's answer, but he did not ask further. After all, the dragon's brain was not working well, and Copperfield did not want to understand what it was really thinking.
Since he had received Doragon's answer, the man and the dragon left the cave first, preparing to return to Doragon's nest to make their plans together.
When they reached the empty space in front of Doragon's cave, Copperfield waved his hand, and Elegy appeared beside Copperfield's hand.
A moment later, a passionate and sad harmonica sound lingered in the empty space.
Copperfield felt as if there was some kind of bond between him and Doragon forming.
Information about Doragon slowly appeared in Copperfield's mind.
At this moment, Doragon didn't have any reaction, but Copperfield felt that his constitution was constantly strengthening.
The song ended.
A complex array brand appeared in front of Doragon's chest, and this brand also appeared on the back of Copperfield's hand.
The master-servant contract has been formed.
Doragon: "?"
"Why do I feel like my body hasn't changed?"
Doragon looked at Copperfield in confusion.
"Why is the power of a dragon appearing in your body?"
Doragon's eyes widened. It couldn't have been tricked!
Humans were indeed not good!
Before Doragon could figure out the current situation, the magic brand on Doragon's chest suddenly lit up.
Threads of soul power that contained a deathly aura spread out from the brand.
???
Doragon hurriedly summoned his own soul power to block it. However, he didn't expect his fire-type soul power to instantly melt like ice when it came into contact with that strange black soul power.
"Ah ah ah! Humans are indeed not good!"
"They actually dared to plot against this king!"
In the end, Doragon did not succeed in resisting. His enormous body was wrapped up by that black energy thread. Finally, at the entrance of Doragon's Cave, a giant cocoon with a diameter of over 50 meters appeared.
...
This could not be blamed on Doragon. Even Copperfield did not understand the current situation.
After the contract was completed, Copperfield could clearly feel the strength of his body increasing.
Just as he was checking his body, a huge black energy cocoon had appeared in front of him.
Copperfield used the undulations transmitted to him by Elegy to understand that the black cocoon should not be harmful to Doragon. Hence, he did not stop it and allowed Doragon to be entangled in the cocoon while it was still cursing.
Looking at the night sky, Copperfield decided to rest in Doragon's nest for a night and make a decision the next day.

Thomas the Brawler
Thomas doesn't remember what his last name was, before it became Bluebrim, a name belonging to another universe. He's also pretty sure he wasn't this stupid before he arrived, but what can you do, when a day that was supposed to begin with an interview to set your life back on track instead begins in a universe that makes no sense, with rules you can't begin to understand? Maybe he should have paid more attention to the avatar creation screen ... Content warnings: All of them. Seriously. Expect lots of blue screens to begin with. Don't expect a power-leveling fantasy, in which the lone hero beats up all the bad guys, and gets a harem of women. There's just a guy who treats character creation like an annoying series of pop-up advertisements, and the story is basically the ramifications of that. The main character has to learn to take the world he's found himself in seriously, and he'll learn the way most of us do, by doing it wrong first. This is, insofar as it is successful, a dark comedy fantasy. Also a bit of horror, particularly but not exclusively body horror. I'm pretty sure I've earned those Content Warning tags, so, uh, yeah. This is practice. Hopefully things improve as I go, and figure out what I'm doing wrong, but I make no guarantees things will ever get better. I've already made mistakes, I'll make more, and I'm happy to notice them each time I make them. You don't improve unless you fail. (On the plus side, it probably won't get much worse.) Feel free to point out anything you think I'm doing wrong; I don't promise to change anything, particularly if it's a matter of taste, but I am looking to improve, and figuring out what I need to improve goes faster if I don't have to try to figure it out myself. I've updated the earlier chapters for formatting, in the hope that it would make everything easier to read on mobile devices. Hopefully things work slightly better now, but please let me know if there are any issues anywhere.

Modern Magic
A Modern Magician BookI looked up at the crooked holo sign while the perfectly bred woman read from a paper, a plastic smile glued to her face.'Welcome to The City,' she said in a fake voice. 'Once formerly known as New York, The City is a place filled with ancient and modern wonders. Remember, if you see any magicians please report to the nearest police station or Black Hand officer.'I smiled at the sign and then raised a single finger. No, not the middle one. A blue misty light spun from my finger and into the holo device. The message quickly changed from the fake woman to one of my own.'Welcome to The City,' the woman read, her hair now dyed a fuchsia. Her eyelids were a dark blue and her bottom lip and right eyebrow were pierced. 'A special message from Hecate, queen of magic.' The woman looked up at me, a smirk playing on her lips. 'Welcome to my city.'
