When Yvonne's recollection of what had taken place came to an end, another sigh left her lips as that had not been the end of their conversation.

Since her family had discovered Tutu's reappearance, she decided to come clean about everything.

She confessed that this had been the first exchange of letters in a very long time.

The dire circumstances had been a hindrance in the past but now that they both were in the Capital at the same time, she expressed her desire to visit the same man.

Divulging her desire led to a whole other debate about her oblivious behavior which could land her in trouble if she continued to behave that way.

It took Yvonne many minutes to explain to her parents that while Sevenz had his strange quirks, he was a polite, well-behaved person who happened to be a good friend of hers.

Rutherford had looked at her incredulously while Howard was stuttering to find the right words to change her mind.

It was only Raylene who was being level-headed in that situation as she tried to negotiate regarding the request the child had put forward.

'And that is how I ended up in this carriage with this sulking child.' The third sigh escaped her lips which finally managed to infuriate Howard.

"You dislike my coming along that much?" He scoffed but no matter how she looked at him, she only saw a sulking face.

When Yvonne had placed her request of visiting Sevenz, Raylene had accepted her proposal on only one condition and that was to have someone escort her to and from that man's house.

If she wished to meet him then she should not do so alone nor try to run amok like she had done the last time.

As Yvonne found nothing odd about her mother's conditions, she nodded her head in agreement with the same.

She had been expecting Jax to be chosen as her escort but it turned out that their mother had selected one more person to add to that extremely short list.

Thus, Yvonne had landed herself into this situation where Howard was seated in the carriage with her while Jax sat outside with the driver.

Facing her elder brother's frowning face, the sister was quick to shake her head.

"Then what is making you sigh so many times?" He continued with his complaints.

Yvonne tilted her head to the side then spoke again while looking him right in the eye.

"Big Brother, you don't know why I am sighing?" She retorted with a question of her own which made Howard choke on thin air.

His reluctance to keep a straight face along the entire ride was why she was sighing.

Her father might not be present right now but his spitting image in the form of Howard was right here.

Both the father and son had their prejudices against Sevenz and Yvonne's troubled mind worried about what would happen when the two met.

She wished that he would give Sevenz a chance without being so biased against him from the very beginning.

Howard had known Sevenz through Yvonne but the two had no proper interaction.

Even the few times that they had met face-to-face, Howard was too busy leering at the man to even make a proper conversation with him.

Therefore, Yvonne was wondering what would happen this time when they see each other after a long gap.

"Big Brother, you can't be rude to Sevenz. He is a friend." She iterated her stance which only made him frown again.

Clicking his tongue at her words, he nodded as their mother too had reminded him of the same before they left their estate.

"I shall be mindful of my manners." He muttered in defeat after which he fixed his gaze outside the window.

Howard once again sulked as for so many months, the siblings had been spending all their free time together but that would now change.

After returning to the Capital not only would his best friend start sticking to her but there would also be others whom she interacted with in the past.

Thus, the elder brother was being hostile to anyone who was a threat to his close relationship with her.

'Taylor is fine…' He was willing to compromise since the two were best friends but he would not want any other to get too close to his sister.

Especially a grown man who claimed to be her best friend back when he first entered their St. Claire mansion to sign the contract between CLOVER and Ocular.

Sadly, Yvonne was ignorant of the true cause behind his actions as she too stared outside the window.

The Commercial District that they were passing through had two areas.

The one for nobles was towards the inside of the Capital while the one for the commoners led towards the outside.

Right now, the carriage had just passed through the nobles' area but had not yet entered the commoners' zone.

The street separating the two zones was right ahead of them and the carriage took a turn in a different direction.

The siblings were aware of the path as they watched their carriage follow the same route which would lead them to their destination.

As they neared their destination, Howard recalled something which made him turn in her direction.

"Did you inform him about your arrival?" He questioned and widened his eyes when he saw her shaking her head.

It was mandatory to inform someone that they would receive guests soon but the little girl was proud while revealing that she had not followed this step.

"I want to surprise him." She disclosed her reason for keeping her friend in the dark about her unannounced arrival at his mansion.

Howard shook his head but did not chide her as even Taylor did the same to him on account of their friendship.

While it was uncommon, a person could drop by his or her friend's estate unannounced which implied that they had a great relationship with each other and did not need to maintain decorum in the other person's presence.

While the elder brother was thinking whether Sevenz and Yvonne were close enough to behave this way, the carriage began to slow down.

The indication that they had reached their destination brought him out of his thoughts.

Yvonne appeared excited when the doors of the carriage were held open for her by her butler who also held out his hand to help her down.

However, Howard glared at Jax as he stepped forward to escort her instead.

The two young boys bickered like married couples every time they faced each other and this time was no different.

Therefore, Yvonne chose to interfere before their argument escalated as she shot Jax a glance, asking him to stand down before she accepted Howard's hand.

This gesture appeased the elder brother who was now elated that he had won against Jax in his petty competition.

Once the siblings had alighted the carriage, Jax asked the driver to park nearby and wait for them to return.

The butler then stood behind his Boss who walked ahead with her elder brother.

Looking up, Yvonne smiled at the large mansion she had been to once before.

Their intention of walking up towards the familiar gate came to a halt when it opened from the inside and a familiar face appeared from the inside.

"Greetings, Miss Yvonne!" A surprised-looking Butler whom she had met the last time came into their view.

At the same time, a loud squawk was heard coming from the sky and Yvonne understood how the Butler had heard of her arrival.

Tutu circled high up in the sky before disappearing from there as she flew behind the mansion, unlike the last time when she had entered the mansion through a window.

"Miss, the Master is in the backyard." The Butler informed which collaborated with the etcher's actions.

Yvonne had not informed them of her arrival but she had forgotten that the etcher could sense her presence at any time.

'Is that why no one stopped us at the entrance?' She mulled over the possibility that the etcher had already informed Sevenz of her arrival and he had asked his guards to permit their entry without even stopping them.

This speculation made her feel foolish that she had not accounted for the etcher's interference in her surprise visit to her friend's estate.

However, now that things had diverted from her original plan, she decided to go with the flow and continue the rest as planned.

"Can you lead us to him?" Yvonne requested as her plan for today was to greet and meet this friend whom she had not seen for quite a while.

The Butler nodded at once before bowing to her and gesturing for her to follow after him.

As the three from the St. Claire's family followed his lead, the butler led them through the mansion which was a well-furnished maze thanks to its confusing layout.

They had only been to the parlor the last time they were here.

That seating area was right next to the foyer which was also why Yvonne had not noticed this strange yet beautiful feature of this mansion.

As her sparkling eyes took in the view of their journey across the mansion which was filled with twists and turns, they finally reached their destination.

The Butler pushed the door leading to the backyard open and the three who followed him were left with wide-opened eyes.

Howard and Jax had their eyes fixated on the items they discovered here but the girl had her eyes turned in a different direction.

'Mini Sevenz?' She started with widened eyes at the smaller figure standing opposite the one she had come to visit today.
