Danger Zone Chapter 3

"Oops, sorry. Are you okay?"
Aiden immediately stands up as he brushes off the dusts from his shorts before looking back at the man, who is staring at him with his silver-like eyes.
They are mesmerizing and enchanting. Aiden wants to stare at them longer but that will make him a creep and will probably make the guy awkward.
Aiden clears his throat and answers the guy with the best voice he can pull off without stuttering and getting shy.
"I am fine. Thank you."
Aiden bows at the guy and walks away while Cassie follows his long strides that almost makes her run just to catch up with Aiden.
The man is left there standing with a smile on his face as a little chuckle escapes his lips. He stares at the Aiden's fading back before entering the gymnasium in search for his cousin.
Cassie grabs the hem of Aiden's shirt and forces him to face his roommate. She does not know what is happening with Aiden but the moments she sees his blushing face, she sighs.
"Don't tell me you are just about to explode after some random guy stares at you?"
Aiden shakes his head but the blush on his cheeks says otherwise. Cassie shakes his head before slightly punching Aiden on his shoulder.
"You dumbass! Look where you are going next time!"
Aiden whines as he tries to prove his point of nothingness to his best friend of many years.
"But, Cassie! We are rushing and I didn't mean to bump into him!"
Cassie takes a step back and looks at Aiden before rolling her eyes. She sighs, knowing that there is nothing she can do anymore.
Aiden had already falls in love with the man with silver eyes.
"I can't believe this bullshit."

Aiden pouts as he follows Cassie to their next class. He is still pouting that his best friend thinks that Aiden would do something terrible just to get the guy's attention.
"I will not do something stupid! I promise!"
Cassie sighs and nods at him. She does not believe every word he says but she wants the argument to stop already. She could feel a headache as Aiden tries to stop himself from squealing at how handsome the guy is.
"Do you think he is single?"
Cassie just seat on her chair and waits for the room to be filled with their classmates as Aiden daydreams of the guy that he bumps into at the gymnasium.
The bell rings moments after and Cassie almost hides Aiden into the nearest locker when she sees who their next professor is.
"Good afternoon, everyone. Please be seated."
Aiden snaps out of his thoughts when he heard this raspy and deep voice coming from the tiny podium upfront. He looks up and almost gasps loudly when he sees who it belongs to.
"Nice to meet you all. I am Primo Santoro, your Forensic Medicine professor for this whole semester. As you can see, the subject is not that hard when you pay attention with the discussion. So, I hope you guys will do well."
Cassie rolls her eyes as she looks around the room that is filled with silently squealing pigs and blushing faces. They look like they are about to explode any minute from now.
She looks at her side and almost mistaken Aiden as a human-sized tomato by how red his face is.
"If everyone is ready, shall we begin?"
A choir of yeses has been heard throughout the classrooms as the girls fix their attention to the man, who turns out of to be their professor.

Aiden gets his pens and notebook out to focus on the lecture. For the first time in his life, he would be focusing with his lectures.
It is something he had never done before. He never felt the urge to study or focus on his lectures before even if the professor looks hot and delicious in his eyes.
But there is something about this professor that is just making him submit and listen to him.
Out of nowhere, Cassie smacks Aiden's head out loud, making the latter shrieks as he covers his mouth before looking at Cassie with a glare.
SLAM!
Before he could call out Cassie for what she had just done, a heavy thing slams down the wooden table, making everyone flinch and quietly stares at the professor upfront.
"Excuse me. If you have something more important to do than this lecture, please go out of my class."
Aiden mistakenly looks at the professor's eyes and stops. Those beautiful ocean blue eyes just turn into something sinister and dangerous.
Aiden feels himself entering a dangerous area with no weapon or anything that can protect him from animals or predators.
He gulps visibly under the glaring eyes of his professor as he stands up and quietly went out of the classroom.
Cassie looks at him go but she did not follow him. She looks at the professor who is bewildered by Aiden's action and tries to make his student go back to his seat but it is too late.
Aiden is already out of the classroom and everything inside just gone quiet. Cassie stands up from his chair and picks up everything that belongs to her and Aiden before she walks out of the room.
Thinking that Aiden is just outside, Cassie looks around the corridor and frowns because Aiden is not outside the room. She walks towards the stairs but Aiden is still not there.
She sighs before realizing that maybe Aiden is in their hiding spot. A secluded place that only them knows. She sighs and goes to that place while carrying Aiden's notebook and some pens.
Meanwhile, somewhere around the flowery garden of the university, Aiden seats on one of the rocks. His heart feels heavy and dishearten and his mind is blank.
He doesn't know why he is feeling like this when it is not the first time that a professor had done something like that to him.
In fact, Mr. Primo is not the first professor who yelled at Aiden before. But the latter had never felt something like this to the other professors.
Aiden sighs as he wipes his tears while trying to force his heart to stop hurting while thinking whether he should go back to his dormitory or wait for his next class.
Moments later, a warm hand touches Aiden, making him flinch away from the person but he stops when he sees who it is.
"Hello, we meet again."
Aiden could only nod at the man as he stares longingly at his silver eyes. This time Aiden is sure.
He is sure that he is starting to fall all over again to a man with silvery eyes.

Please catch me, because if you don't, I'll shatter. I can't grab on anymore, I can't keep fighting. It's going to swallow me up. My name is Alyssa Gray, and by the time you finish reading this, I'll be dead. ________________________________ A few warnings and things to note: -I've put up the tramatising content tag due to a lot of mentions on death, dying, illness, and a mother who tends to be rather cruel. I know that I take a perspective that many will strongly disagree with, and I'm okay with that. Just be warned that this isn't lighthearted stuff. This is real, and death is real, and this part streaches beyond the fiction into reality. -I'm going to say a minor spoiler, but I don't want it to take you unaware because it is something to be aware of. At one point, my MC attempts suicide and fails. It's a very violent scene and I will put up the gore tag after writing this, and it's also just really depressing. If this will be triggering, you need to be aware of this before you read it. -This is a christian book. It may go against some of your beliefs. I hope that you can read and comment anyway even if some of it does not sit well with you. Credits for the cover go to the user 'Media in Sanity'. Your help and assitance has meant so much to me, God bless you in your writing and your endevours. A proud member of WriTE. I've promised to finish this fiction and update it at least once a month. My schedule is very irregular, and I'm working on that, but I'm going to do everything I can to make sure that this book stays out there. I'm not ending it until it's done.
