Danger Zone Chapter 24

The car ride from the supermarket is rather quiet than Daime would've expected. A few talks and some music playing in the background were shared but other than that, there is nothing else. Daime did not expect such a thing to happen but it's inevitable.
Even though he would want to think of a topic to talk about, the latter does not want to leave a bad impression to Aiden's sister, Jasmine. Daime sighs quietly in the back of his mind.
He just hopes that what they talked about earlier is enough to leave a good impression to Jasmine.
The traffic made it more difficult to not talk about something. But Daime's mind went blank the moment Jasmine enters his car. The air is awkward and Daime cannot think of any topic to talk to.
Jasmine sighs loudly, making Daime flinches away a little bit as he tries to look at her direction. Jasmine clears her throat and looks towards the direction of the stoplight.
"A little topic would be nice, don't you think?"
Daime gulps and looks at her direction as Jasmine looks back at him. Daime awkwardly nods while Jasmine chuckles at his reaction.
"It's okay, kid. I am not forcing you to talk to me."
Daime nods and looks at the road. Fortunately, the stoplight turns green, indicating for them to move out of the way already before everyone would start to honk at them.
The car moves slowly as it accelerates little by little before going on full force. Jasmine watches him drive and smiles in her head.
Her brother is truly fortunate to have someone like Daime to be courting for his ass. But what her main concern is Primo and his ways of courting. She had seen it before and she knows that Aiden would probably like his ways more than Daime.
Aggressive and possessive.
Jasmine just shakes her head, knowing that this chasing thing would just ended up in a three-way relationship were Aiden would just proposed something out of the ordinary.

The ride had stopped when the car reached Jasmine's house. Daime parks the car near the apartment and helps Jasmine with her groceries, which looks like she won't be doing grocery for the whole year.
They were that many.
Daime carries the heavy boxes while Jasmine carries the other things. In the middle of climbing up the stairs, jasmine suddenly felt something is not right.
Her intuition is screaming that something is wrong in the apartment or something is not right.
She looks down at the parking lot of the apartment and sees an unfamiliar car parked near the bakery at front. But when a guy came out and opened the door, she sighs.
Maybe her intuition is faltering each day and its making her paranoid. She sighs as she climbs up the stairs again. But the feeling is still there.
And she is getting more and more anxious as she walks towards the door of their apartment. It is as if she is feeling the same thing she felt whenever someone is plotting something against her or her family.
She tries to take a deep breath but when she looks at Daime, the latter had the same reaction as her. It was a remarkable sight for her. She didn't know a Santoro can feel danger.
The awkward air from earlier is heavier now. She is even reluctant to open the front door of their apartment. But she did hear something from the inside that made her fiddle the keys from her pocket and unlock the door immediately.
As soon as she opens the door, Aiden is standing by the corner of the room, looking at nothing. Jasmine frowns at Aiden's position and taps her brother's shoulder.
Aiden shrieks and looks at Jasmine as if she is about to ravish him like a wild animal. Jasmine flinches away as Daime places the boxes near the fridge.
Jasmine is about to ask what is wrong with Aiden when a sudden noise comes from Aiden's room, making them jump in surprise.

Aiden almost facepalms himself when he hears the noise. Jasmine immediately goes to Aiden's room and holds the doorknob. Aiden suddenly grabs her ankle and begs not to enter.
"It's just a cockroach, sis! Don't enter, please!"
Jasmine shrieks when she hears the word "cockroach". She looks at Daime who only shrugs and opens the door. He looks at the "cockroach" and chuckles.
"Damn! That is one big hell of a roach!"
Jasmine peers inside as her eyes widen in surprise. There, standing in front of the bathroom door is Primo Santoro. With his naked top while wearing a very tight short.
"What the fuck is happening?"
Aiden gulps and prays to the heaven gods to spare his life from this catastrophe. Daime looks at Primo with a blank expression while Primo draws his arms in a defensive mode.
"I can explain! It's not what you guys think!"
Jasmine stares at Primo as she takes a deep breath as she tries to calm her nerve before she could kill Primo for ravishing her brother. If only that is the case. But Jasmine knows better.
"Sis! It's not what you think, really. It's… uh… just an accident!"
Jasmine looks at Aiden with a deadpan expression while Daime goes back to his car and grabs some clean shirt and shorts that he keeps whenever he plays basketball.
"Yes! Just an accident!"
Aiden's voice raises in a very high pitch, making Jasmine frown. Aiden gulps and waits for Daime to enter the house again while Primo is fidgeting by how cold Aiden's room is.
Daime enters the room again as he tosses the clothes to Primo and the older scrambles to his feet and enters the bathroom.
Primo goes out of the bathroom within minutes and sits two meters away from Aiden, making sure that his knee isn't touching any part of Aiden's legs.
"Explain."
Jasmine's tone is a bit dangerous but somewhat playful. Primo can hear her laughing her ass off later the moment Primo tells her what just happened to him.
He clears his throat and throws away all of his dignity that is left from coming in here and tells everyone inside of that room what happened to him after he left the Matautia's residence.

"Oh, my goodness! I can't believe I did such an embarrassing thing!"
Primo murmurs while wearing his shoes. He never felt like this before. He is never the one initiating approaches before but after meeting Aiden at that one fateful night, Primo decides to do everything for his angel.
"The sky is too cloudy. Looks like it is about to rain. I should get going befo-."
A splash of dirty water suddenly impacts straight to Primo's face. It drips down from his face to his clothes, drenching it dirty and smelly.
He scrunches up his face and wipes off the dirty water as he glares at the tricycle that quickly passes away from him.
"Fucking-! I swear to Satan!"
Primo looks around him, making sure that no one notices what just happened to him. Miss Ruby sees him standing outside their gates and notices the dirty water dripping down his shirt.
She covers her mouth with her hand and prevents herself from laughing.
"M-Mr. Santoro, please enter the gates again. I-I-I will call Ai-Aiden to assist you."
Primo nods at her as he enters the residence again. He could see how Miss Ruby tries not to laugh at the sudden thing that happened to Primo.
If Drax is here, he is already rolling on the floor laughing while Primo tries to yell at him to get him some clothes.
Aiden goes outside and gawks at Primo's appearance. He tries not to laugh but his professor looks ridiculous as ever.
"C-Come inside, let me grab you some clothes."
Primo nods at Aiden and follows him back to his room. He is so embarrassed that his ears turn red as a ripe tomato.
"Shit."
