Aiden and his sister Jasmine heaves a heavy sigh as they fix themselves and get comfortable in their chairs as the pre-flight announcements were being announced.

Aiden can't quite comprehend whether flying by plane or cruising by ship is the best way to get to the Philippines. Both are dangerous and would require great patience from their passengers.

He sighs as he puts on his seatbelt and waits for the flight attendants to finish their safety announcements of today's flight. This is not the first time that he rides an airplane.

But his irrational fear is taking a toll on him. His sister holds his hand and tells him to listen to the safety announcement in case of an emergency during the flight.

"Ladies and gentlemen, on behalf of the La Luna Airlines Flight SN 9909 crew, I ask that you please direct your attention to the flight attendants in front as we review the emergency procedures.

There are six emergency exits on this aircraft; two forward exit doors, two overwing window exits, and two rear exit doors. There are signs on the ceilings and disco lights on the floor. They are going to lead you to these exits.

Count the number of rows to this exit. Should the cabin experience sudden pressure loss, stay calm and listen for instructions from the cabin crew.

There is a seatback pocket in front of you; you might want to read it before you need it. It outlines the different safety features of this beautiful aircraft.

Now in the event of this flight would turn into a romantic cruise, the flight attendants would instruct you on how to remove the life vest from underneath the seat.

To inflate the life vest after you exit the aircraft, you pull on the red tab or you can blow the red tube for those who want to make their life more difficult as it should be.

Four oxygen masks will drop down from above your seat as you scream for your dear life. Place the mask over your mouth and nose, like this. Pull the strap to tighten it.

If you are traveling with children, put your own mask first before you put it on one of your children with the most potential. In the unlikely event of an emergency landing and evacuation, leave your carry-on items behind.

Laughter and tiny giggles are spread all throughout the aircraft as the funny flight attendants announced the safety features. Aiden looks at his sister who is laughing nonstop at the shared jokes by the cabin crew.

The jokes ease Aiden's irrational fear of flying and getting into an accident. The captain announcement is next as the take-off had begun.

The flight attendants immediately sit down in their respective chairs while the other passengers braced themselves for the take-off.

This is where the irrational fear starts to get to Aiden but the latter only closes his eyes when he felt like the plane ascends into the skies. He sighs when he felt that it stabilizes in the air again.

He felt a tight grasp in his hand so he looks over to his sister, who is looking sweetly at him. Jasmine ruffles his hair and praises him for being strong that he did not panicked when the aircraft ascends.

Aiden can only smile and give her a nod as he sighs with relief in his seat.

"Nothing will happen."

This is what he says in his mind to keep his thoughts aligned and not panicking like a headless chicken. The flight continues smoothly as Aiden starts to drift from his sleep.

He never thought that he could sleep during a flight like this. He had never slept on a flight before because he is too scared that something will happen during the flight.

He sighs and braces himself as his breathing steadies later on and Jasmine puts the covers in and sleeps for herself, wondering if the Philippines will do any good to them or not.

Moments into the flight, Aiden feels a hand shaking him to wake up. He groans and swats the hand away to stop but another arm caught Aiden's hand which made Aiden flinch awake.

He looks around him confusedly. The aircraft is different and the attendants are different as well. He looks to his side and sees Primo's ocean blue eyes looking straight at him within his soul.

"Are you okay, baby?"

Aiden flushes a red tint all over his face when he heard the nickname that Primo gave him. He looks away and bumps his forehead into a solid and hard surface.

He looks over to the one he bumps into and sees that it Daime's arm and not a concrete wall. His blushes intensify as both Daime and Primo caress his face as they chuckle lowly.

Their voices resonate into the whole aircraft. It only dies down minutes later and Primo tells him to rise up already. Aiden tilts his head and asks the older guy, he is shocked by what he heard.

"What do you mean "why"? We are in Switzerland already, baby. Let's go."
