All her life, she has never been so happy. She has wanted to see why the Matautia group is the richest family in the world. She looks up to them. For her, their family is worth challenging for when it comes to their wealth and properties.

Eleanor Machibach is the last daughter of Ferdinand Machibach and Maricel Lenero. She is born in the outskirts of Geneva and has lived a very sad and unfruitful life.

Growing up, she had never wanted to be that woman who married a rich guy and now she owned a large company because of her husband.

No.

She is not that type of woman. Eleanor was a hard worker, industrious and adventurous teenager, who was willing to sacrifice her teenage years to help her mother and father around the house.

She has two siblings but both of them are crippled and mute. They can't work and none of the work outside of their home accept teenager with disabilities.

Eleanor had never liked her brother and her sister. She despised them for all she cared. Not that she was envious of them but she is also mad at her parents that babied them.

Her sister had a joint pain but she could still walk. She could learn sign language and could mouth words but when their parents were around, both of them acts like stupid people.

Doing signs that were out this world, making Eleanor pissed of them. Her brother was no different. But what he does is way worst.

Her brother used codes and other cryptic messages and sometimes even touch Eleanor with no permission, but when Eleanor tell her parents, they blame her and scold her instead of her brother.

Bubbling up all of the anger in her system, she decided to quit her work and run away from home. Living in the streets with other teenage kids was never a problem at first.

It was in fact somewhat, free. Freedom is something she had never felt in years of slavery with his family. Especially after her father lost his job and became a freeloader like her brother and sister.

She sighed and looked up to the night sky as she wished for a new day to come and an opportunity flying at her way. But of course, reality was as bad as fantasy itself.

Even the main character in superhero books need to suffer before he or she gained the recognition that he or she deserved.

She leaned back to the concrete wall behind her and slowly closed her eyes. In her mind at that time, wishing for a rich husband is not that bad.

She just needed to work hard and find a good one. Even if she knows that it is somewhat hard to find the man who will provide her everything that she needed.

In the world of the rich and the poor, only a quarter of percentage that a woman from poor like her would likely to marry a man with a big stature like the rich people.

With this, Eleanor went straight into the dark abyss that welcomed her with open arms.

Pitter patters of raindrops that surrounded the whole pavement woke Eleanor up. She looked around to see if her friends were there, only to find out that they left her.

"Even the poorest of the poor has this type of mentality. Where is the humanity that they all have been fighting for?

Useless."

Eleanor wiped her wet face and folded the large cartons that served as her made up bed and the linen cotton cloth that served as her bed sheet.

She stood up from her place and walked to the nearest shelter and covered herself with the cloth as she wished for the rain to stop.

Hours passed by and the rain is still pouring, she don't have a choice but knock on the doors of the rich people to ask for shelter.

She knocked at every pretty door that she could see but most of them pushed her away. They don't need anything to do with her. Since she is a nobody.

Tired limbs and freezing body, Eleanor dropped to the ground as she tried to regain consciousness but her mind is already shutting down.

Out in the deep ends of the rainy pavement of the old rich town of Geneva was a man. He is wearing a tight black pants and coat. His hair was disheveled and he looked like he just ran a marathon somewhere during the rain.

He looked at the woman who fell down to the ground and sighed to himself. He went to the place where his body guard was and called him over to pick the woman up.

"Put her near the fire place to warm up."

The bodyguard nodded as his boss entered his house, removing his drenched jacket and looked over to the woman that was trembling in the arms of his bodyguard.

"Place her here. Bring hot chocolate afterwards. This woman needs to warm up."

In the normal days like this, he would never take anyone from the streets inside his home for no apparent reason.

But seeing the woman being pushed around by his so-called-friends, he couldn't see what kind of stupid act they are pulling through.

He sighed as he wrapped the woman in a thick bed sheet and waited for her to wake up. As the night loomed over the city of Geneva, the rain poured loudly against the roof of his house.

He looked at the woman beside him and sighed.

"What the hell I am doing with my life? First, my father and now, this woman. This is getting out of hand."

He leaned back to his chair and stairs at the darkness of the ceiling in the living room. He was thinking of what to do with the woman when he heard something that has the same sound of grumbling near him.

"What in the world?"

He looked beside him and saw that the woman sleeping was snoring. He stared at her as a small smile spread on his lips.

"I wonder if you are as cute as look at right now, the moment you wake up."
