Danger Zone Chapter 145

"And please, just please, stop blaming Daime. It is not his fault for whatever is happening. We never knew that Aiden will react like this after finding out that Daime is missing.

So, stop putting pressure on me or anyone in this family especially Aiden."

Primo is about to go out of the room when Grandmama grabs his arm and makes his face her.

"But what about the tradition?"

Her statement made Primo's lips form a thin line. This is when Primo knows that he is about to say something that he doesn't mean to say.

"Tradition? Which tradition you are talking about? Was it the tradition that is torturing your own family to make them realize that being independent is hard?

Or the one where you keep pressuring us to get married to those we don't love because you only care about power and money?"

Grandmama remains silent as Primo asks her those questions. She has an option to shut up or answer Primo with more lies that she can give.

And she chooses to stay silent the whole time. Primo looks at her straight in the eyes before chuckling.

"Now you are not talking because you that what I said is true. Gosh, I can't believe my family sold me to a crazy woman like you."

Grandmama is taken aback by the sudden accusation from Primo. She folds her arms as she stares at Primo with her devilish smirk.

"Darling, your parents did not sold you to me. They let me adopt you because they knew that they can no longer afford to take good care of you and your brother."

Her words directly shoot arrow towards Primo's mind, giving Grandmama a disgusted facial expression. Something that she never thought that Primo will show to her.

Primo laughs at her statement as he leans down to one of the tables of the room. He looks directly at her as he wipes those fake tears away.

"Adopt? Me? Grandmama, please. Stop joking, it's not funny."

Grandmama inhales a deep sigh and releases it firmly, making Primo stands tall and proud in front of her and walk towards her with a firm expression.

"My parents sold me to you because you force them to. Telling my father sugarcoated lies and making my brother marry Sandra, who is as crazy as you.

I did not know why I even came here after escaping for almost twelve years. But I surely regret that decision.

If you think you can still control me, then think again, Eleanor. I will hesitate to hurt you if you put pressure on Aiden about this wedding.

Remember that."

Primo walks away from Grandmama, giving her a heavy tension where she would be suffocated if she did not do anything right now.

She can't believe that Primo will stand his ground even after what she did for him. But she knows that he is right.

The Primo that she knew since he was a kid is no longer here. The man that she just had a talk is no longer the kid she can push around and order around.

He has his own mind and she knows that he can hurt her if he wants to.

Primo slams the door after that talk. He leans his head back to the door and takes a deep breath.

"That old hag, how can she disregard Aiden's feelings just because she is getting anxious about the wedding? Who even wants to get married after such a tremendous announcement?

Is she stupid?"

Primo sighs as he is about to go inside the room where his other cousins are when Aiden pulls him aside and makes Primo face him.

"Babe-"

"Take me."

Primo stares at Aiden, unable to create a reason as to why the reason he wants to be taken. He doesn't even know where Aiden wants to be taken.

"Where? Where will I take you?"

Aiden stops as he gasps for more air and grasps on Primo's muscular arms. He heaves a deep sigh as he uses Primo for support before saying everything that he wants to say.

"Take me to the medieval restaurant."

Primo looks at Aiden and sighs. He personally don't know where is this medieval restaurant is. He also doesn't know what is Aiden trying to do.

Although he has a slight idea of what he is trying to do, the older man is still clueless of everything. He places his hands on Aiden's shoulder, making the shorter male looks up to him as his eyes pleads.

"I don't know where this place is but if you can remember the routes to that place then sure, I can take you."

Aiden jumps up and down as he sprints towards his room and dresses up. Grandmama goes out of the other room and stares at Primo.

Her gaze is sharp but her eyes say otherwise. She still trying to put up that strong persona that can intimidate other people but Primo knows that she is worried about something.

This speculation starts when Grandmama goes out of the mansion and goes back after three days. No one knows where she went, even her guards.

Everyone says that she goes somewhere far on her own without any armed guards, which is something unusual unless she goes somewhere familiar to them.

Like the cemetery where her late husband was laid or the church where she got married, many years ago. Any random places to those will be a big question to every Santoro who had seen her at that time.

Her hair is unruly and her face is extremely worried. Whatever the reason is, it is still bothering Primo up to this day. He sighs as he looks away from her and goes to his room.

Aiden's clothes are not there because the shorter male wants to sleep in Daime's room. Something about feeling him close can calm his mind. But Aiden can't hide the fact that he is still screaming in the middle of the night over a nightmare about Daime.

Primo wears his normal clothes but when Aiden sees them he frowns. This made Primo believes that Aiden wants to re-enact what happened the day before Daime disappears.

"No, babe. I know what you are to do and I am not allowing it."

Aiden frowns at Primo. He does not know what he is talking about but he knows that this style of clothing does not suit him.

"Please change your clothes. This doesn't suit you."

Primo looks at Aiden as if he is joking but the latter is already lifting his shirt off. Primo sighs and goes back to his room to put another shirt on when Aiden stops him and gives him Daime's other clothes.

"What am I going to do with this?"

Aiden laughs at Primo's "joke" and shakes his head. He is still the same person he met before. The same "Daime" that always makes him laugh with no apparent reason.

"Stop it, Daime. Just wear your clothes so we can go."

The name makes Primo stop from his tracks and looks back at Aiden. He can't believe that the latter just called him in a very different name.

What's worse than that is, Aiden called him with his cousin's name. Primo will get it if Aiden calls him in a different name that sounds like his name or someone he never met.

But being called by his cousin's name is a different matter.

He looks at Aiden, stares at him as he tries to calm himself before he can say some things that he doesn't want Aiden to hear.

It will break his heart if he sees Aiden crying because of him. So, instead of asking Aiden what did the latter just called him, Primo only nods at his direction before entering his room.

He removes his sweater and his undershirt as he looks in front of the big mirror in his room and looks if he does looks like Daime in all of his angle.

His brows furrow and he focuses his imagination towards Daime's face. But there is something that bothers him the most.

He can't remember Daime's face, at all.

Primo shakes his head and immediately wears his clothes before Aiden starts to whine about moving like a woman at how slow pace he is.

"Why are so slow, you turtle? Let's go! I am excited to go back to the medieval restaurant! Do you remember the beautiful irises?"

Primo observes him from behind as Aiden blabbers about something he doesn't know. He asks Aiden to stay where he is since they will need a car to drive to the place.

In which Aiden reacted as if Primo says something ridiculous.

"Since when did you drive a car? Remember what you told me back in the Philippines?"

Primo looks at him as he thinks what could he possibly mean. He curses under his breath at how stupid he is for now remembering what he said back when they are still in the Philippines.

He looks away from Aiden as the shorter male chuckles at his expression. In Aiden's eyes, Primo looks so cute right now. He looks flustered as his brows furrow and his mouth forms a thin line.

When Primo got an idea of what Aiden could mean, he stops and looks at him. He doesn't want to but he needs to. Primo needs to know if his theory is correct.

He faces Aiden and asks him one simple question that made Primo regrets not finding Daime sooner or later.

"Babe, who am I?"

Aiden looks at him and smiles brightly. This is the first time that Aiden had ever smile all through the days that he has been sulking and depressed while Daime is having fun somewhere.

"Duh, of course you are…"
