Little Aiden.

That's what Cassie called Aiden, the first time they met. It was when she was still seven years old and Aiden was fifteen. Cassie was quite short compare to the other watchdogs in the Matautia mansion at that time.

So, Aiden never believed that Cassie was capable of doing such things like fighting and some other exercise. When Cassie grew taller, she approached Aiden and invited him to watch her performance inside their gym.

Aiden never wanted to go, but Cassie was persistent and the latter just gave in and went to her performance. It was when Aiden found out how strong and protective Cassie was.

He was even complaining at that time because his father asked him to join the performance and Aiden repeatedly said no, but what could he do? It was already Master Evon who told him to join.

And then, there they were. Aiden and Cassie, hand-in-hand with the mission that Master Evon tasked them to do. This was the first time that Cassie would be performing a mission with the young master of the house and she knew that she needed to do her best.

The mission was simple. Get inside and get him out alive.

All of the watchdogs watched their own backs, ignoring Aiden and thinking that he was just one of the watchdogs in training and get inside the abandoned warehouse, where they got ambushed by an opposing team.

Everyone got scared and tried to escape but Cassie pushed the mission until it was done and get Aiden out of the warehouse without any bruises except dirt.

When Master Evon heard about the ambush, he traveled to the opposing team and scolded them for being excited in attacking or ambushing his trainees. They said their sorry and Master Evon also informed them that one of those trainees was his son.

They got scared and asked Master Evon to punished them but the elder just let it slide. Since he already knew which one of his trainees he will put up with his trouble maker of a son.

That night, Master Evon asked Cassie's parents if they will let their daughter to travel with Aiden and be with Aiden as an extra protection in another country.

Her parents gave the Master of the House an ultimatum that they will let their daughter travel with Aiden in another country when it was time to escape once she turned sixteen.

Master Evon gave in and continued to train Cassie so she will be ready when trouble comes to Aiden and her in the Philippines.

When Cassie turned sixteen, she, Aiden and his sister, Jasmine, flew to the Philippines in order to escape the Santoro clan's plan of making Aiden one of theirs. Meaning, they will forcefully marry Aiden to one of theirs and claim his rights to live.

When they arrived in the Philippines, in hopes of escaping the Santoros, that's when Cassie realized that they really can't escape anyone or Aiden's fate in the beginning.

Months after their arrival in the Philippines, Cassie received a message from her parents saying that the three of the Santoro boys were in the Philippines as well.

This made Cassie rethink their strategies and prevent Aiden in meeting one of these boys. But fate has another plan for them and let Aiden meet not just one, but all of the three Santoro boys in the Philippines.

It even revealed that Aiden had already met them before but the young master was too forgetful to even remember them.

When Cassie tried to tell Aiden to not get involved to them, she found out something that she should've never had. She found Aiden's fated pair and it was one of them.

Cassie was supposed to tell Jasmine but she was too reluctant to even inform her. She don't want Jasmine to know about this because it may bring displeasure towards idea of Aiden's fated pair being a Santoro.

Not knowing what to do anymore, Cassie did not inform anyone and just let what Aiden wanted to do, happen. It was her biggest mistake.

After Aiden met Primo and Daime, his life began to crumble down to pieces and every shitty things that could happen to his life, began to happen. The heartbreak, the jealous, the pain, the suffering and even the sorrow that came along with everything, Aiden felt it all.

Cassie was supposed to be there to protect him but even her didn't know that it will be like this. Like this as in, Aiden entering a three-way relationship with two of the scariest Alpha in the Santoro family; Primo and Daime.

Like this as in, Aiden will go to Switzerland with the Santoros and served Grandmama their to prove his worth. Like this as in, Aiden being hurt and at pain after being married to Primo.

Like this as in, Aiden will have a miscarriage because Primo never cared about him. Cassie could only watch from afar as Primo hurt her young master and claimed to be unsuitable to be cared for.

She was now in the hospital, listening to every word that Drax said. Behind her was the shocked and mad, Master Evon.

His fists were clenched until his knuckles turned white and his pheromones were hitching to the top of the ceiling of the hospital.

None of them ever knew that Primo could do such a thing. What she heard made her rethink her decision of not telling them about Aiden's fated pair. She looked at the dull Omega inside of the room, and she saw that Aiden was also listening to every word that Drax said.

She sighed and went beside Drax to face Primo and dropped her only solution to end this pain on Aiden. And this time, she will protect him until he recovered from all the bruises that Primo inflicted on him.

She looked at Primo with his eyes wet from crying and heavily sighed. She shook her head first and told Primo what he needed to do to end everything and let Aiden free.

"Break the bond. It is the only solution you have right now."
