This is the day that Nigel's secretary to plan her way to know who is the person behind the closed doors of room 5449 and why her boss looks like that when he peeks inside the room.

She prepares everything that she needs to persuade the nurses on the third floor of Alfred's office to give her information about their patient. But the nurses are asking her for another favor that she can't accept.

Thus, she hasn't gather any information about the patient behind room 5449, but she knows that with the great power comes great persuasive skills, she will soon have his information.

She wakes up extra early so she goes to the third floor and persuade the nurses there since she finds out from some of the maintenance workers that the nurses she talked yesterday have their rest day today.

She arrives to the facility at exactly six-thirty in the morning. Way too early for her shift to start and immediately unlocks Nigel's office with her spare key and organizes her desk.

She puts her bag at a locked cabinet to prevent her things from missing and prepares the things that she needs for her conquest to find out the mystery person behind those closed doors on the third floor of Alfred's office.

"Okay! I am ready! For Nigel!"

She closes the door of the Omega's office and walks towards the direction of the rehabilitation center and enters the elevator then presses the third floor before fixing her clothes.

She looks at the metallic mirror beside her and tries to look as normal as possible. She looks at the papers on her hands and smiles at the plan on her mind. But before that, she needs to gather every information she can have of the patient.

The elevators arrive on the third floor of the rehabilitation center and she immediately walks out of the lift and proceeds to the nearest nursing station adjacent to the office of Alfred and of room 5449.

With a smile on her face, she puts her papers in front of the nurse and asks her questions that she prepares beforehand. The male nurse who spots her and her clipboard approaches her and asks what he can do for her.

"Hi, my name is Alicia Theron and I am here to survey some of your patients."

The male nurse suddenly looks at her with frown and searches if any emails arrived saying that there will be a surveyor arriving today. The memo or emails say none so he proceeds to ask her if she has any permission to conduct her survey.

"Uhm, yes. I do."

Nigel's secretary smiles as she draws the permit that she made last night when she remembers that she has a copy of Alfred's signature from a month ago, regarding an Alpha patient that went crazy for his mate.

She retracted the signature from the email and created her own permit paper to conduct her survey. The male nurse gladly accepts it and gives her permission in doing so. He even asks whose patient she will be having survey with and she immediately points at the closed door of room 5449.

The man looks at her as if she is crazy and nods. But before the nurse can even get out of his station, Alfred suddenly looms in and stops when he spots Alicia behind the counter.

"Alicia? What are you doing here?"

Alfred proceeds to walk towards her and shocks to see what she is wearing. White bloused uniform, white pants, shoes and her hair is styled as if she is a nurse student. The doctor is baffled at what he sees and looks at Nigel's secretary before shaking his head.

"Come with me, Ms. Theron."

Alicia gulps when she heard what Alfred had said and follows right behind him. The male Alpha opens the door of his office and waits Alicia to enter before closing his doors. The Beta woman, even if Alfred is a friend of her boss, is scared of what the Alpha can do to her without Nigel by her side.

The stares coming from the Alpha is making her squirms in her seat and looks away from the man. Her heart is pounding loudly inside of her chest and her mind is going in circles.

She knows that she no longer have a way out of this mess that she starts to create and will be scolded once Nigel finds out about this. The Omega doctor will hate her for nosing other people's businesses and will probably fire her from her position.

"So, why are you doing this?"

Alicia stares at the doctor as she thinks whether to tell him all about her plans or tell him bits of bits from it and see if he will asks further questions about this. But knowing Alfred, he will soon finds out about her plan before she can even do it.

The Alpha leans forward to his desk and stares at the Beta woman before chuckling at her reaction. The woman looks at the Alpha with her eyes wide open, surprised as he did not scold her for something like this.

Even if she hasn't said anything yet, Alfred already knows what she is trying to do. The Alpha inhales a deep breath and leans back to his chair, humming to a tune that he heard from earlier on the radio as he thinks of what to do with Alicia.

"If I told Nigel about this, he will scold you. But what shall I tell him if he asks what are you doing here? Visiting someone? That's impossible since most of your friends are on your building. Not here.

What do you suggest? I can't just keep my mouth shut if Nigel asks me."

Alicia can feel sweat all over her face and neck while Alfred is speaking to her. She knows what he is trying to do. He is threatening her to reveal to Nigel about her plans of doing a survey or even stalking the patient inside room 5449.

And that will her worst nightmare if Nigel ever finds out. She will be doomed once Nigel scolded her of stalking or even doing something that will ruin Nigel's name and reputation.

She shakes her head and tries to think of a way out of this mess before Nigel comes in and looking for her. She feels her phone vibrating and the ringtone rings when she pulls it out.

She sees Nigel's name on the caller ID and looks at the Alpha, who has a huge smile on his face. But the smile doesn't feel like a genuine smile. It feels like a smirk and Alicia doesn't like the look on his face.

"Answer it. Let me hear your answer."

Alicia gulps and shakily draws the phone towards her ears and answers the caller. She gulps the huge lump on her throat and clears her throat before answering Nigel who is waiting on the other line.

"He-Hey, boss. What's up?"

Moments of silence comes right after before Nigel answers her. She hears ruffling of papers and heavy breathing coming from the other line.

"You, bitch! You left the office door unlocked! Where are you?!"
