Hal was on the bed with his cheek resting on his fist and his elbow pressed into the bed as he stared at Emily who had sat up on the bed and was looking over her body.

"That was a little harsh" Hal said in a tone that made it clear he was attempting to hold his laughter.

"Oh please! You liked it" Emily is with a scoff.

"True" Hal said with a mild chuckle.

He liked Emily's display a lot and it was quite a treat to see a Cosmic Aurora in action when it wasn't attacking him. It made for a change considering the first time he saw a Cosmic Armament, it was summoned to attack him.

Also, when he had first seen a Cosmic Phenomenon, it had been due to anger aimed at him.

"Besides, since when did it become okay for them to show me dissatisfaction? Who do they think they are?" She said with a natural tone that might make anyone doubt if she truly was dissatisfied.

Hal shrugged,

"I'm just going to go out on a limb here and say that you being their in-law makes it okay"

Emily turned to face him with a sexy smile,

"Then maybe it's time someone breaks the news to them that I am no in-law of theirs"

"Now that is a conversation I have no interest in having" Hal chuckled and kissed her lips.

He then swung his legs over the side of the bed and sat up.

Looking at his muscular back caused Emily to gulp and try even harder to suppress the need. Sex was good and all but she did not want it to be the only thing she thought about.

At least not for now...

"So... Do you want to hear all about where I am from now?" She asked and moved closer to him to wound her arm around his neck and move her lips to his ear to nibble it while breathing the sweet mouthwatering scent his body gave off that did not help to curb the ache she had already been feeling.

"I spent quite a while coming up with my conjecture that you were the Masked lady as well as working past the fog of your artifact so why don't I tell you all I have inferred?" Hal said.

Emily smiled,

"Be my guest. I'm not sure you'll be very accurate though"

Hal chuckled,

So while I deduced you were the masked lady, I also had other suspects, or you can refer to them as people of interest but only your timeline fit, so I focussed on you.

There are not many sects that Dual cultivate in this Duchy and all of them do not have the resources you bolster. And how do I know you possess expensive resources?

That was easily deduced from the cultivation technique you gave to your ladies which were tailor-made for Dual cultivation. This narrowed down the place you could be from by a large margin and completely removed the Silva Duchy from being a place of interest.

After all, only four powers are capable of displaying such wealth in this Duchy, the Danes, The Fiery Lotus Sect, The Astral Palace, who still care about Cultivation, just not as much as Runemastering, and the ruling Family, the Silvas.

None of which Dual cultivate.

Any Dual cultivating sect in this Duchy is not powerful enough to display such so I needed to look to other Duchys.

As there are Twelve Duchys on this continent, the places of interest would have been much too large, so I focussed instead on the nearest Duchy to Salmon city.

I decided on the Doxon Duchy.

Home to the Sensual Palace, known for their many massage chains, a few of them with happy endings and also the sect itself in the form of a massive palace that has facilitated the rise of many Dual cultivating Experts.

Of course, I couldn't just search for where you were from without reading into its histories well.

It was how I found out the Doxon Duchy was the first not to frown upon Dual cultivation.

It was the Duchy that worked diligently to make the fine art of Essence sharing a Cultivation path that garners respect. Its cries for attention and respect even caused the imperial family to add Dual cultivation as a branch in the Royal Academy.

On a Side note: On the Haron Continent, The word 'Imperial' is only to be used to refer exclusively to those who belong to the Imperial family, so the Academy is called 'Royal' since anyone can be accepted as long as they are talented enough."

Emily nodded with a proud smile that kept breaking up as she attempted to hold her laughter,

"You seem to have put a lot of time into this. It couldn't have been easy"

Hal smugly cleared his throat,

"Well, it really wasn't"

'You liar' Grimoire said with indignation as Hal told such a bald-faced lie.

While it would have been hard for someone else, this were merely outlook information that he could easily purchase from Grimoire with a little bit of Gold.

Hal ignored it and continued,

"The Sensual palace acts as the Doxon Duchy's most powerful academy and also its secondary power source and together, with the aid of their chains of massage places, the Duchy has flourished.

However, with this growth also came a little paranoia as the Doxon Duke and the Sensual palace head monopolize high-grade Dual cultivation techniques. In fact, there are hardly any Green grade Dual cultivation Techniques outside of the Duchy.

As for Blue and Purple grades, aside from the Low Blue grade Vixen wiles Technique you gave the ladies, there is none.

So tell me, Am I wrong to assume that the palace I saw in your mind is the Sensual Palace and that you are from there?"

Emily smiled and took a deep breath,

"No, no you are not" she said.

Hal nodded.

If she was from Sensual palace, her whole life must have been dedicated to Dual cultivation and her condition must have ruined that Dedication.

Especially since she had already mentioned that it got her a bad reputation and she could not get a partner. Now that she had confirmed what he had guessed, he now knew why she left the sect.

She was tired of it all.

The stigmatization must have been too hard for her to bear.

While she was talented and must have been a genius, as she reached the peak of the Cosmic Aurora realm when she could not even Dual cultivate properly, it was of no importance to those who valued a less talented but capable Dual cultivating partner to a talented one that only took and gave nothing in return.
