Rant Valo was in the middle while Floriana Sabina was last to enter the cave. The bright light above their heads alleviated Rant Valo's fears.

They went deeper for about a minute before they finally reached a wide cave. The cave was moist and damp. The rock surfaces were shiny because of the thin film of water flowing downward.

Large stalactites hang from the inside of the cave. There were torn clothes on the ground at the side.

Rant Valo went forward and picked it up. The fragment of cloth broke apart easily when Rant Valo tried to rip it apart.

"This cloth looks old."

Rant Valo said as he looked at the broken pieces of cloth in his hand. He threw it back to the ground. He only picked it up out of curiosity.

"Master, I woke up over there."

Veia pointed at the spot where the fragments of clothing were.

"What? Were you using this as your bed or something?"

Rant Valo asked in wonder. The fragments of clothing do not even cover the floor enough for Veia to lie down on it.

"Yes. I woke up naked over there…"

Veia said quietly. She toned down her voice as the thought that she may have been raped there plagued her mind. It now makes sense that she woke up naked.

"Where did you even get the black cloak from?"

Rant Valo asked her. It was what she was wearing since he first saw her.

"I found it deeper inside the cave, Master."

Rant Valo nodded his head. He looked at the passage leading deeper into the cave and couldn't help but swallow his saliva in anxiety. The feeling of claustrophobia is welling up within him.

"What are you getting scared for? Go!"

Floriana Sabina came behind Rant Valo and smacked his back. She noticed earlier that he was acting scared in front of the cave. Now he was even getting scared of entering deeper.

"Master, are you scared?"

Veia asked Rant Valo. She also saw that Rant Valo was acting weird like he was scared of something.

"Of course not! I'm a man you know?"

Rant Valo forced himself to act tough and led the way inside. He would rather face his fears than see Veia look down on him because he was scared of tight spaces.

Rant Valo entered deep inside the cave. There was no sound other than the sound of their footsteps and the constant dripping of water. There was also no light ahead.

The dark and cramp space of the cave slowly magnified Rant Valo's fears. He felt like the cave would suddenly come crashing down on him.

He even imagined that a monster would jump out from the darkness.

Without him realizing it, Rant Valo was frozen in fear. His legs were shaking and he couldn't move forward anymore.

"Master, are you okay?"

Veia came behind him and asked seeing that he stopped moving. She looked ahead and saw that nothing was blocking the way forward.

"I- I changed my mind, Veia. You can go first."

There was an obviously forced smile on Rant Valo's face as he said to her.

"Okay, Master."

Veia nodded her head slowly, seeing that Rant Valo was smiling forcefully. Rant Valo moved away and allowed her to move ahead.

"Hmph! Boastful pervert!"

Floriana Sabina hmph'd seeing Rant Valo's failed attempt at impressing Veia. She even felt good that Rant Valo failed.

"Wh- I'm not! It's just too dark… and cramped…"

Rant Valo wanted to argue back at her but he lost confidence when he looked forward at the dark and cramped space inside the cave.

"Hmph!"

Floriana Sabina snorted at his pathetic attempt at lying.

"Master and Grandmaster are pretty close huh?"

Veia noticed that they were chatting at the back and couldn't help but say so.

"Ah, yes?"

"Me? Close with this pervert? He's only my disciple!"

Rant Valo was confused at her words while Floriana Sabina denied it with a snort.

"Hehehe, Master, want to get married?"

Veia suddenly blurted out.

"WHA-??"

"HEY!"

Rant Valo was shocked speechless at what Veia suddenly said. How did it come from him and Floriana Sabina being close to her asking him to marry her?

Floriana Sabina was angry at Veia's words. She's definitely doing this on purpose to rile her up!

"I mean, I can't live without Master now can't I?"

Veia said as she turned around and stared at Rant Valo's eyes. There was a hidden meaning in it.

Rant Valo didn't know what to reply to her. Technically she was right as he had to feed her his blood according to the contract.

The thought of marrying her in the future appeared inside his head. He imagined her smiling at their wedding and then before he could think further that imagination was ripped apart by a blinding white light.

Zaria-chan's face appeared in his mind. Her silhouette is wrapped by blinding rays of light. She brought peace and calm inside Rant Valo's head.

"Just kidding!"

Veia suddenly said, seeing the serious look in Rant Valo's face and the angry expression in Floriana Sabina's face.

"Hmph! You better be!"

Floriana Sabina snorted at Veia. The thought of binding her with ropes again appeared in her head.

"I'm sorry but I disagree."

There was an absolute calm in Rant Valo's face as he said to Veia. He didn't hear what she said earlier as he was focused on Zaria in his mind.

"Wha-! That's cruel, Master! How can you deny the moves of a maiden like me!?"

Veia looked at Rant Valo flabbergasted. She may have been raped in her past life but her body was already revived. Her body is as pure as it can be!

She didn't expect him to say that after seeing the serious look on his face earlier. It soured her mood suddenly.

"Serves you right! Lewd demon!"

Floriana Sabina couldn't let the chance to mock Veia go so she mocked her. There was a smug smile on her face.
