My Master Is A Tsundere Chapter 62

"Isn't my blood tasty enough?"
Rant Valo couldn't help but retort after hearing Veia's voice.
"But the meat seems so delicious!"
Veia responded snappily. She was jealous that they could both earth meat without any consequences.
"You wanna take a small bite? Just a small one so its effects would not be severe."
Rant Valo offered the meat on the knife to Veia. Veia creased her eyebrows and thought about it. She could still faintly remember what happened back then when she ate the fishes.
"Just a tiny bit."
Veia plucked a small piece from the meat and took a bite. She munched on it and analyzed the flavor.
"Mmm… It's very bland."
Veia only tasted coarse meat. It had no seasoning to begin with. It was just plain old meat. She swallowed it after a couple of chews.
"Do you regret eating it?"
Rant Valo asked her with care. If it was not up to her satisfaction then she would be suffering later for nothing.
"I do."
Veia replied with a wry smile. She thought that it was some high-quality tasting meat but it was just bland meat. Even dried meat jerkies are more appetizing than this one.
"Tell us if you feel strange."
Rant Valo was worried that she would go crazy again. Although it was just a small piece it was still something that could cause an adverse reaction from her soul.
"Master, why are you so worried about me? Are you perhaps attracted to me already??"
Veia quickly noticed that Rant Valo has been acting awfully worried about her. He was never like that before. So she immediately thought that it was because he started being interested in her.
"Nope. I'm just worried that my slave will go crazy again."

Rant Valo replied flatly. He was not one bit interested in her. Rather, he was physically interested in her body but he was not emotionally attracted to her. And Rant Valo is someone who cares more about his emotions rather than his little brother's reactions.
"Awww…"
Veia was disappointed after hearing Rant Valo's words. She was once again shut down by him. At this point, Veia was already used to it so she didn't react as strongly as before. Being shot down by Rant Valo was just that frequent.
"Master, we should go across the river."
Rant Valo suggested to Floriana Sabina. They have already stayed on this side of the river for so long that he made no progress on his travel whatsoever.
"We may as well do so, Disciple."
Floriana Sabina nodded her head. She walked forward and stepped on the river water. The next thing that happened shocked Rant Valo.
"Y-you're stepping on water?"
Rant Valo watched as Floriana Sabina stepped on the river water. It was like another ground for her to step on.
"I don't want my dress to get wet."
Floriana Sabina turned her head and continued forward. Rant Valo could only follow her and swim through the cold river waters.
"Agh, this is too cold."
Rant Valo endured the cold as he dipped in the water deeper and deeper. Veia followed after him and also dipped into the water. She was not like Floriana Sabina who was capable of walking on water.
Veia held onto the hem of Rant Valo's clothes and crossed the river with him. The strong river currents would have already pulled Rant Valo away if he was still just a mortal, but now that he was already a 5th Mana Condensation stage cultivator, his body was already strong enough to fight against it.

"Finally, we made it. Brrrrr! Too cold..."
Rant Valo walked out of the water and immediately froze when he felt the cold winds brush onto him. It was like a freezing wind just brushed against him when in fact, it was just a normal wind.
"Cold!"
Veia screamed as the cold wind also touched her wet cloak. Her thin body was freezing from the cold.
"Heh. You guys should get used to it."
Floriana Sabina snickered when she saw both of them freezing from the cold. She was glad that instead of walking across the river, she walked on top of it.
"...Easy for you to say…"
Rant Valo grumbled on the side. It was very unfair for her to say that to them after she didn't even a single drop of water touch her skin.
"Hmph! If you're even a tiny bit as strong as me, then you could have also walked on the water."
Floriana Sabina snorted after hearing Rant Valo's grumble. She worked hard for her cultivation so it was natural for her to use it when need be.
"Okay. Okay."
Rant Valo nodded his head repeatedly to stop her from boasting anymore. She was starting to act like a spoiled princess once again. He was annoyed by it every time she does it.
"Hmph! Now you know!"
Floriana Sabina turned her head away and walked away.
"Wait, we should start a camp first. We need to dry our clothes."
Rant Valo stopped Floriana Sabina after seeing her continue on her way. It would not be fun to travel inside the forest with wet clothes on. It is naturally cool inside a forest so walking inside it with wet clothes is like entering a cold domain.
"We already got everything in this place. We should speed up our pace."
Floriana Sabina waved her hands and a hot gush of air dried Rant Valo and Veia's clothes in no time.
"Wow. Thank you. You should have done this sooner."
"I'm not your slave. I'm only doing this so we can travel faster!"
Floriana Sabina turned her head away and walked further ahead. Her small face was slightly blushing.
Rant Valo and Veia followed Floriana Sabina deeper into the forest. They left the cooked carcass of the bear on the other side of the river since carrying it with them would only hinder their speed. Plus, they could still capture and cook other animals in this forest.
