My Master Is A Tsundere Chapter 73

It was a very bright day. The sky is clear with small clouds passing by. There was a huge forest that extended farther than the eye could see. Beside it was a town that expands 13 hectares. It was enclosed in a huge cobblestone wall with city guards watching over the surroundings.
On one of its cardinal sides, a gate was open. Lines of carriages are waiting in line. Right beside that was a short queue of people.
Rant Valo, Floriana Sabina, and Veia are one of the people waiting in line. They had just arrived from their long journey in the forest.
"Have you been here before, Master Floriana?"
Rant Valo turned his head to the back and asked Floriana Sabina. Rant Valo was the first in line with Floriana Sabina and Veia following behind him.
"Nope."
As a Mana Dominion cultivator, Floriana Sabina wouldn't bother with visiting such a small town. She could just fly from point to point after all.
Rant Valo turned to Veia but he ignored her after remembering that she has no memory of her past. He would only be wasting his time by asking her.
"Next!"
A staunch guard shouted from inside the small gate for pedestrians. He was wearing iron armor. Except, it was not shiny, but cloudy in appearance.
Rant Valo's group moved forward and the guard inspected them. He lifted his chin and started eyeing them from head to toe.
"Hm, a villager kid, and who are these?"
The guard looked at Floriana Sabina and Veia in surprise. In this town, he could recognize almost everyone who comes to here. Even if he doesn't know their names, he would still know that they were villagers.
These girls in front of him are in no way villagers. One look at their bodies and he could tell that they were raised in a sheltered environment. Away from any sort of menial work.

"I…"
Floriana Sabina was about to speak but she was interrupted by the guard.
"Little girl, did he kidnap you or something? Wait, no, that couldn't be right. This kid looks so weak… Hmmm… Tell me your names."
The guard pondered for a while. He couldn't make any heads or tails of why they were here.
"Floriana Sabina."
"Veia."
Floriana Sabina and Veia replied candidly. There was no point in keeping their names a secret.
"Hmmm… not in the missing list either. I guess you can pass."
The guard was looking into a list. It included the names of people who went missing. It was normal for people in this world to go missing without any trace. There are so many things happening in the world that people just tend to go missing without any explanations.
"Thank you."
Rant Valo thanked the guard before entering the town.
This was Rant Valo's first time in a town. He looked around and the quality of the houses amazed him. It was unlike the thatched houses that they have back in the village. The houses here are either made with wood or stone.
It was very strong and a stark contrast to the difference in the quality of life between the two.
There were also crowds of people moving about. Some of them are carrying sacks of unhusked rice and some other grains. All in all, it was very bustling in Rant Valo's eyes.
"Are you amazed, Disciple?"
Floriana Sabina asked Rant Valo with a smirk on her face.
"Yes. If possible, I want to settle down here."
Rant Valo nodded his head in a matter-of-fact manner. Living in this town would be much better than living back in the village.
"Make way! Make way!"
A loud bellowing sounded from far away and a horse-drawn carriage appeared on the brick streets at a blazing fast speed. All of the people on the street moved away except for one young man. He was totally oblivious to the carriage that was running towards him.

The young man turned around when he heard the loud noise of the carriage and it hit him just as he saw it. It was like he was a ragdoll when he was thrown towards Rant Valo's direction and landed in front of him.
"Ugh…"
The young man groaned in pain and tried to stand up with great difficulty. Yet he failed. He looked down and to his horror, his legs have been bent into a weird angle.
"Ah, AHH! AHHHHHH!!! MY LEG!!"
He screamed in terror. Tears streamed down his face as the pain finally settled into him. He was clamping onto his thighs to try to ease the pain but even that was not helping him.
"..."
Rant Valo's group was speechless at what happened. Floriana Sabina and Veia turned their heads to look at Rant Valo. Now that they looked at the young man, he was the one in front of Rant Valo when they were waiting in line.
Somehow, they knew why this young man has been hit. It was because he was unlucky. And he was unlucky because he stood too close to Rant Valo.
Rant Valo looked back at Floriana Sabina and Veia in confusion. He didn't know why they were looking at him. He was oblivious to the fact that it was his constitution that caused this young man's misery.
"Tch."
A tanned burly man walked towards them with a displeased look on his face. He glanced at Rant Valo's group before walking towards the screaming young man.
When he neared him, he kicked him on his bent leg.
"AHH! WHY DID YOU KICK IT!?"
The young man's eyes turned red as he looked back at the tanned burly man.
"Hey! Stupid lad. Next time, watch where you are going. Take this as your lesson."
The tanned burly man sneered at him before leaving. It was as if he just came to kick the young man and insult him.
The young man could only watch in helplessness as the tanned burly man got into his carriage and drove it away. The crowd that has gathered around has started to leave after seeing that it was not that interesting.
"Disciple, go fix your mistake."
Floriana Sabina nudged Rant Valo.
