My Master Is A Tsundere Chapter 99

'I'll listen to you! Just tell me how I can get powerful.'
Nale Narene answered back. He was a man who thirsts for power. If it was served on a plate in front of him, he would take it without any shame.
"Continue following them. I'll give you orders later. Don't tell them about me. If you do, you will lose this opportunity. Kekekeke."
The hoarse voice replied before fading away. Nale Narene looked around and saw himself walking in the swamp with Rant Valo's group leading the way.
'I'll have more power than Rant Valo.'
Nale Narene smiled evily to himself. He couldn't help but imagine stealing Veia from Rant Valo's embrace. It would be the most fitting outcome for him.
Meanwhile, Rant Valo's group was totally unaware that Nale Narene had already colluded with someone else. They continued on for a few more minutes before land appeared in front of them. The dark fog here was much more dense and visibility was impossible.
"How are we gonna traverse through that?"
Rant Valo asked with a frown on his face. It would be impossible for them to see the way forward. They might even get lost inside if they aren't careful.
"We can use a rope, Disciple."
Floriana Sabina answered. If they tie a rope to the edge of the swamp, then they would be able to find their way back no matter which direction they go.
"That's a great idea, Master Floriana."
Rant Valo nodded his head vehemently. Floriana Sabina pulled a long rope from her Storage Ring before passing it to Rant Valo.
"This might be too short, Master Floriana."
Rant Valo couldn't help but say after seeing the rope. It could at least only reach 100 meters.
"Don't worry. Trust me, Disciple."

Floriana Sabina smiled mysteriously. It was obvious that she knew something that Rant Valo didn't know.
"Okay."
Rant Valo shrugged his shoulders. If it's her words, he could believe it.
Rant Valo tied the rope to a tree that was nearest to the land before they continued on deeper.
There was basically nothing that they could see in front of them so they just walked in a straight line.
A few seconds later, the dark fog around them suddenly cleared. It was as if there was something keeping the dark fog away from this area into a dome shape that covers this place.
"Woah, what's this place?"
Rant Valo looked around in curiosity. The ground was entirely black and a three stories black shrine was standing in the center. The shrine was perfectly intact and showed no signs of damages.
"Where's the Evil Sacra Lotus?"
Rant Valo couldn't help but ask after seeing the spiritual plant nowhere. It was supposed to be in here from what Nale Narene had told them.
"I don't know. The guard we sent here didn't dare to go any deeper. He just assumed that my father died because it had already been too long and there was no news from him."
Nale Narene after seeing Rant Valo look at him.
"I see."
Rant Valo nodded his head in understanding. It means that they would still have to explore this place. It was really odd, it was as if there was a black wall around them as the dark fog was kept outside.
"Let's go inside first."
Rant Valo walked in the lead, and Floriana Sabina dissipated her magic technique, causing the white fire snakes to dissipate.
There was a staircase leading up inside the shrine. The building was shaped like an octagon. It was painted black and the edges of the roof were curved upwards.

They passed through the entrance that was kept wide open. There was a coffin kept in the center of the first floor. It was also colored black while the floor was brown in color. It was as if the exterior of the shrine was painted black while the inside was kept intact.
"Is this a mausoleum?"
Rant Valo couldn't help but say after seeing the coffin. Floriana Sabina nodded her head while Veia moved closer to Rant Valo.
"Young Boy, it's time for you to gain power! Kekekeke!! Open the lid to the coffin."
The hoarse voice sounded into Nale Narene's ears once again. This time it was very pronounced, as if it was whispering right beside his ear. Nale Narene nodded his head before carefully approaching the coffin.
Rant Valo's group also carefully approached the coffin. They were curious to see it. But before they could get any closer, Nale Narene ran towards the coffin. He clutched onto the edges of the lid before lifting it upwards.
Black miasma escaped the coffin. It was different from the dark fog that they encountered outside. This black miasma felt alive and dangerous.
"What are you doing!?"
Rant Valo shouted in panic. Nale Narene just unleashed something ominous.
A skeletal hand gripped the edges of the coffin and used its other hand to help Nale Narene push the coffin open. The coffin lid fell to the floor with a loud bang. It sounded like a stone hitting the wooden floor.
A skeleton with black miasma oozing from its bones raised its torso. It turned to their direction before speaking.
"The time for the lord to awaken has come."
It was a different voice from the one Nale Narene heard earlier. It was more young but it was still hoarse.
"An Evil Darkness Skeleton!"
Floriana Sabina exclaimed from the side as she recognized the undead creature.
"Hooh, young girl, you recognize me?"
The skeleton turned towards Floriana Sabina. There was surprise in its voice. It couldn't believe that a little girl just recognized it.
"Of course, I'm the Youngest Saintess in the world after all."
Floriana Sabina crossed her hands with a smug smile on her face.
"A saintess? Kek, you're dreaming. There is no way a saintess would come to this barren land."
The skeleton chuckled at Floriana Sabina's words. It didn't believe an ounce of it.

OUTLIERS
30 years ago brought the first superhumans, regular people given great power seemingly at random. 15 years ago brought the paranormals, stranger and often weaker in their abilities, but far more numerous. Today, the world holds its breath . . . Or at least, it should. Most people, though, are just trying to get on with their lives; some successfully, some less so. It's a sensible goal, but it can be hard when shadowy conspiracies and worldwide N.G.O.s are turning your city into a proxy battleground over world-shattering secrets. It’s bad enough when you’ve just woken up with superpowers and terrorists are holding your school hostage. It’s even worse if you’re an illegal vigilante stuck in the middle of the whole Charlie Foxtrot after a supervillain raid drops vital information in your lap. For Hannah Eiling-Kingsford and Flint Perez, life is about to get a lot harder to get on with. ----- Outliers is a superhero story. Okay, so not so much superhero as vaguely superhero-ish. It's about two teenagers dealing with, among other things, new powers, psycho exes, mysterious datapads and a giant, secret war between the foremost powers-that-be, over information that could forever change the world. Again. You know, normal teenage stuff. Outliers contains some foul language and mild sexual references. It is a complete story, and can also be read on its own website. The Head That Wears The Crown
It's a tale as old as time. Boy goes to funeral. Boy gets sucked into a different world. Boy has to lead a settlement. Boy has to lead a settlement? Boy has to lead a settlement. This is a story about that settlement, and some other stuff. Maybe. Disclaimer: Not sure if it qualifies enough for a gore tag. There is a description of someone's death somewhere in this, but I don't think it is descriptive enough to justify a gore tag. Disclaimer part deux: I initially started writing this as background for another story but got so into it I just ended fleshing it out a bit. Disclaimer part tres: People love reading disclaimers don't they? It's why I've included so many. They're just for you. Disclaimer part four: I know, this is getting egregious. You're starting to find it less funny. Just wait till the twentieth disclaimer, it will start being funny again. Disclaimer part five: I'm kidding, this is the last one. I don't promise I'll read every comment or message, but I certainly welcome your feedback. Disclaimer part six: I lied, it wasn't the last one. I wrote this story without breaking it down into chapters. It just goes, that means that the chapter ends when it ends, not when there is a convenient break in the story. That means that it's very annoying for you as a reader since chapters can end mid sentence. Hah! Sucker! Disclaimer part seven: Get ready for slow updates. Who knows when this will continue. Toss it on read later and come back in fifty years. Disclaimer part eight: Cover Photo by Arthur Ogleznev on Unsplash
