My Master Is A Tsundere Chapter 120

"People?"
Rant Valo turned his head to where she was pointing at. There were three girls walking together.
"Hey, aren't you excited? Senior Brother Khan will be fighting on stage."
A girl from the group suddenly said with much excitement.
"Yes, yes! I can't wait for it next week."
Another girl nodded her head excitedly in agreement.
"What's so good about Senior Brother Khan anyways?"
A girl, much younger than the two, suddenly asked.
"You wouldn't know this as you are new to the sect, but Senior Brother Khan is very handsome! He's also strong! Many girls inside the Outer Sect want to be his girlfriend."
The first girl from earlier explained to her.
"..."
"Master, it seems like this 'Senior Brother Khan' will be your opponent."
Veia suddenly said to Rant Valo. They were all hiding behind a bush as the three girls passed them by.
"Disciple, don't worry. We will support you from the side if you think that you don't have fans."
Floriana Sabina gave Rant Valo a wink. She thought that he was worried that he wouldn't have anyone to cheer him on in this unfamiliar place.
"I'm not worried about that. I just want to ask. How am I gonna participate in this sect event?"
Rant Valo stared into Floriana Sabina's eyes. Something about this whole operation seems off now that he was here.
"After the champion is declared, you will jump down from the skies and defeat him."
Floriana Sabina explained to him with an excited look on her face.
Rant Valo couldn't help but facepalm himself. Her plan was so crude. Would it even be a proper way to challenge someone? It would just be rude to steal a champion's limelight.
"I think it could work, Master."

Veia agreed with Floriana Sabina's plan. She could imagine how valiant her master would look once he defeated the 'supposed' champion of the sect tournament.
"I'm not agreeing. I will feel bad for him. I'll just defeat him anyway."
Rant Valo crossed his arms in disagreement. He was a nice person. He wouldn't just steal someone's limelight just for the sake of it. For the champion, it would have been their only chance in life, but for Rant Valo, there are many chances.
"Hohh, so you're saying that you will win the sect tournament easily?"
Floriana Sabina said to Rant Valo, amused.
"Huh? Didn't I just break through your Early Foundation Establishment stage barrier?"
Rant Valo blinked his eyes in confusion. Just that achievement alone was enough to prove that he was stronger than the people participating in the sect tournament. He doesn't think the others could do the same as he did.
"That's true, Disciple. But you wouldn't know."
Floriana Sabina nodded her head before shrugging her shoulders.
"You're right, but… Whatever. I'll do it."
Rant Valo wanted to argue more with her, but since he doesn't really know what to say to her in response, he just gave up and shrugged it off.
"Fufufu. That's more like it, Disciple. If you don't make a grand entrance, it would not be my style."
Floriana Sabina crossed her arms together as she nodded her head in satisfaction.
"Master, I'll cheer you on from the side."
Veia said to Rant Valo with a smile.
"Yeah, yeah."
Rant Valo could do nothing to stop their excitement. They both looked really eager to see him make that grand entrance by falling from the skies and challenging the champion of the sect tournament.
"Why don't we gather intelligence first? About where the tournament will be held and when it will be."

Rant Valo suggested to them. If they didn't even know where and when the sect tournament would be held, then it would just all be for naught.
"Sounds like a plan, Disciple."
Floriana Sabina nodded her head.
"Why don't we ask them, Master?"
Veia pointed to the three girls who were slowly disappearing from their view. They had talked for quite a while, and soon, they wouldn't be able to catch up with them if they still dilly-dallied.
"Let's ask them."
Rant Valo agreed with her.
Thus, they all ran towards the three girls.
"Hey!"
Rant Valo shouted from afar as he ran.
The three girls who were happily chatting with each other turned their heads back at the same time.
"Yes?" x3
They all asked in confusion. They were all deep into their discussions, and suddenly being called confused them.
"Tell us about this sect tournament."
Rant Valo answered before making a complete stop in front of them. Veia and Floriana Sabina were just behind him.
"Are you a disciple of another sect?"
One of the girls asked.
"Ah, yeah. Kinda."
Rant Valo nodded his head awkwardly. He doesn't even know the name of the sect his master attended, yet he was wearing its Sect Robes.
"That's amazing! Are you a traveling Sect Disciple?"
One of them looked at Rant Valo in awe. There was something about being able to travel as a Sect Disciple that made them astounded.
"Yes."
Rant Valo nodded his head once again. Technically, he actually is.
"That's so cool! You must be really strong then! What is your cultivation stage?"
The girls started to flock over him. Being able to travel outside and this far from his sect means that he was already strong enough to protect himself.
Floriana Sabina and Veia looked at Rant Valo and the girls coldly.
"10th Mana Condensation stage."
Rant Valo answered them honestly.
"Wow! Your sect allowed you to travel with that cultivation? You must be already about to reach the Early Foundation Establishment, right?"
A big busted girl pushed her body onto Rant Valo's. Rant Valo couldn't help but be taken aback. Why were these girls flocking over him? Was it really that amazing to be a traveling Sect Disciple? He couldn't help but think that something was wrong with their heads.
"Sort of."
Since Rant Valo knew that he could already reach the Early Foundation Establishment stage if he took another cultivation session, he was technically what they were talking about.

Godfather Of Champions
This is a story about the pursuit of victory.— «I subscribe only to the theory of victory. I only pursue victory. As long as I am able to obtain victory, I don’t care if it’s total football or counterattack. What is the ultimate goal of professional soccer? In my opinion, it is victory, and the pinnacle of victory is to become the champions. I am a manager. If I don’t wish to lose my job or be forgotten by the people, there’s only one path for me to take, and that is to lead the team in obtaining victories, in obtaining championship titles!»The main character was not well-liked by people.— «⋯We conducted a survey which had been deemed by Manager Tony Twain as extremely meaningless. In a random street survey conducted, ninety-three percent of those surveyed chose the option ‘I hate Tony Twain’, while only seven percent chose the option ‘This person is rather decent, I like him’. It is worth noting that nobody chose the option ‘Who is Tony Twain? I don’t know him’. Mark, do you know why Manager Twain felt that our survey was very meaningless?» Parker, a reporter from laughed loudly and said when he was being interviewed by BBC.But there were also people who were madly in love with him.— When Tony Twain was forced to talk about the survey conducted by during an interview, his reply was : «I am happy, because Nottingham Forest’s fans make up seven percent of England’s population.»And he did not seem to care about how the others saw him.— «What are you all trying to make me say? Admit that I am not popular, and everywhere I go will be filled with jeers and middle fingers. You all think I will be afraid? Wrong! Because I am able to bring victory to my team and its supporters. I don’t care how many people hate me and can’t wait to kill me, and I also won’t change myself to accommodate the mood of these losers. You want to improve your mood? Very simple, come and defeat me.»His love story had garnered widespread attention.— «Our reporters took these pictures at Manager Tony Twain’s doorsteps. It clearly shows that Shania entered his house at 8.34pm and she did not leave the house throughout the night at all. But Manager Tony Twain firmly denies, and insists that that was merely the newest-model inflatable doll which he had ordered. He was the number one star of the team.— «⋯ Became the spokesperson of world-wide famous clothing brands, shot advertisements, frequented the fashion industry’s award ceremonies, endorsed electronic games, has a supermodel girlfriend. His earnings from advertisements exceed his club salary by seventeen times, owns a special column in various print medias, publishing his autobiography (in progress), and is even said that he is planning to shoot an inspirational film based off his own person experiences! Who can tell me which part of his life experiences is worthy of being called ‘inspirational’? Hold on⋯. Are you all thinking that I’m referring to David Beckham? You’re sorely mistaken! I’m talking about Manager Tony Twain⋯.»He was very knowledgeable about Chinese soccer.— «⋯ I’ve heard about it, that Bora gifted four books to his manager Mr. Zhu before your country’s national team’s warm up match. After which, the team lost 1:3 to a nameless American team from Major League Soccer. The new excuse that Mr. Zhu gave for losing the match, was that Bora gifted «books» (‘books’ and ‘lose’ are homophones in the Chinese language). Here, I recommend that you guys find out what that one specific book is. Which book? Of course the one that caused you all to score a goal. After that, tell me the title of the book. Before every match, I will gift ten copies of that same book to you. In that case, won’t you all be able to get a triumphant 10:0 win over your opponents every time?» An excerpt taken from Tony Twain’s special column in a certain famous Chinese sports newspaper. He was loved and hated by the press.— «He has a special column in at least four renowned print media, and he is able to get a considerable amount of remuneration just by scolding people or writing a few hundred words of nonsense weekly. While we have to contemplate hard about our drafts for three days before our boss is pleased with it. In an article inside his special column, he scolded and called all of the media ‘son of a bitch’, announcing that he hated the media the most. But every time he publishes an article, we flock towards him like flies which had spotted butter. Why? Because the readers like to read his news and see him scold people. I dare to bet with you, and Manager Tony Twain knows clearly in his heart as well, that even though he says that he hates us, he knows that the present him cannot do without us. Similarly, we also cannot do without him. Is this ultimately considered a good or a bad thing?» Bruce Pearce, a reporter from said with a face of helplessness when talking about Tony Twain. But no matter the case, his players were his most loyal believers.— Gareth Bale, «No no, we never had any pressure when playing on our home grounds. Because the pressure is all on the manager. As long as we see him standing by the side of the field, all of us will feel that we will be able to win that match. Even the football hooligans are like meek lambs in front of him!» (After saying this, he began to laugh out loudly)The reply from George Wood, the team captain of Nottingham Forest, was the most straightforward. «We follow him because he can bring us victory.»The legendary experience of Tony Twain, the richest, most successful, most controversial manager with the most unique personality!Debuting this summer.Thank you for reading.

A Prose of Years
For decades, spiritualist Evert Kallstrom and his team have joined in humanity’s millennia-long fight against the beasts. Wielding their weapons and their ki, they fought and killed these great threats to civilization. And yet, despite their efforts, humanity was losing traction in the war. In the last fifty years alone, more cities had been overrun than in all of known history. While most thought the great beasts natural, a few knew the terrible truth. They were the product of a dark lord, who desired neither fame nor wealth nor power. Instead, his sole purpose was the genocide of humanity. While their peers dithered, a small faction of the strongest mankind had to offer—including Evert Kallstrom and his team—set out towards the Deadlands to find and confront this dark lord. After weeks of travel, twenty-one spiritualists found themselves approaching an ancient fortress wherein rested a being known only as the Eastern Guardian. All they found was death. But death has other plans for Evert. Evert bolts awake in his 16 year old body near his hometown, decades in the past. He is confused, poor and weak. But with grit, sweat, and years of experience, he won't let the future repeat itself. That level of strength won't be enough by itself (it wasn’t last time) and victory is hardly assured (he’ll need to reach farther and higher than he ever did), but Evert refuses to squander a second chance. [Other tags: First Person POV, Hard Magic, Faulty Memory] Volume 1 is complete and has been fully released. My current intention is not to write any sequel volumes. That said, I have also released appendices (SPOILERS) that cover the worldbuilding and future story-that-never-was. Comments suggesting fixes for grammar, misspellings, etc. appreciated. Note: If you came here from Candlelit Lives, these stories have nothing in common.
