Veia pointed with excitement. She was just like Floriana Sabina. They both wanted more cakes to eat along their journey.

The sect disciple asked as he raised his chin to show his arrogance.

Rant Valo asked in confusion. He had a bad feeling about this the moment he saw the shop clerk approach them with this man.

The crowd discussed with each other. Most of them were wearing similar sect robes similar to Nerl Jared.

Nerl Jared overheard their discussion and immediately made up a story to defame them.

The crowd's discussion heated up. They knew that Lunatic Nerl always bosses people around and bullies them so they were still a little skeptical about his words.

Rant Valo silently observed Nerl Jared. He was curious what attack this Sect Disciple would show him.

Nerl Jared shouted as he moved his hands in a strange manner.

Suddenly, the clear blue skies became cloudy, and a small hole appeared. This hole grew, and its light was focused on Rant Valo's group.

Nerl Jared shouted towards them arrogantly. He was sure that they would not be able to fight against this attack of his.

The light from the hole in the clouds suddenly brightened dramatically. Then a beam of light fell down towards Rant Valo's group rapidly. Though, it was not falling at the speed of light as it was just made up of mana.

"Tortoise Fortune's Defense!"

Rant Valo responded with a magic technique of his own.
