My Master Is A Tsundere Chapter 168

"Since when did you learn to tease me like that, Veia."
Rant Valo looked at Veia with a wry smile on his face.
"Don't I do it all the time? Hehehe~"
Veia replied with a giggle.
And so, Rant Valo and the rest spent a whole week inside the castle. To Rant Valo's surprise, Princess Peiana had already given up. She only speaks to him in a formal manner.
One day, the king suddenly arrived in front of them. They were currently drinking tea out in the garden.
"Saintess, there is news about Ms. Veia."
The king said to them.
"There is!?"
Veia stood up in excitement. She looked at the king hopefully.
"Yes. A dukedom claimed that they recognized her."
The king nodded his head and explained to her.
"Then, let's go!"
Veia said to Floriana Sabina and Rant Valo excitedly.
"Relax, Veia. We still aren't sure if they are really your family. Don't get your hopes up."
Rant Valo calmed her down with a calming smile on his face. If they ended up not being Veia's family then she would just become disappointed.
"I understand, Master."
Veia nodded her head solemnly at Rant Valo.
"Let's head out tomorrow. Right, Master Floriana?"
Rant Valo turned to Floriana Sabina and asked.
"That's fine with me, Disciple."
Floriana Sabina nodded her head before she continued sipping her tea.
"Then, I'll make preparations for the Saintess' departure."
The king bowed his head and left.
"Are you excited, Veia?"
Rant Valo asked her with a smile.
"Of course, Master! If they are really my family, I'll finally be put at ease."
Veia nodded her head strongly. She tried to not expect too much just like what Rant Valo said to her.
"If they really are your family, how am I gonna explain our relationship?"

Rant Valo said to her with a wry smile on his face.
"Don't worry, Master! I'll tell them that I'm your only woman!"
Veia reassured Rant Valo. After all, she doesn't know how her family would react to the news that Rant Valo had plans of marrying a lot of women.
…
The next day, Rant Valo and the rest sat inside the boat. They were currently located in the same garden where they landed before.
"Rant Valo, see you!"
Princess Peiana waved her hand in goodbye. There was melancholy on her face. She wanted to escape her fate, but there was no chance for her. Rant Valo was already adored by the Saintess.
"Saintess, I bid you farewell. If they aren't really her family, then please come back, and we will entertain you again."
The king also bid them farewell.
"Thank you for everything!"
Rant Valo waved his hands and thanked them. It was a fun time spending time in the royal castle. He felt like he lived like a prince for a week.
"Rant Valo, don't forget what I told you."
Magicus Inde shouted from the side. He calmly watched them.
"Yes, I won't forget."
Rant Valo bowed his head to him respectfully. Veia and Floriana Sabina followed his example and also bowed towards him.
"The saintess is bowing to the Beslor Magic Kingdom's envoy!?"
The king looked at the scene in shock. There shouldn't be a reason for the envoy to be respected by the Saintess. He was just a mere envoy. Their statuses are far apart with Floriana Sabina in the lead.
"Hold on. The two of you."
Floriana Sabina said to them. The boat floated into the air and flew forward. It then headed southwest towards the dukedom that was said to recognize Veia.

After a quarter of an hour of travel, Rant Valo and the rest arrived at the dukedom. Its name was the Dukedom of Cresta. It was a dukedom with many provinces managed under it.
Floriana Sabina landed the boat on farmland a bit further away from the capital city of the dukedom.
"We're here."
Floriana Sabina stood up and left the boat. Rant Valo and Veia followed after her. They looked around in curiosity. The sun was covered with clouds so it was very comfortable.
"Let's go."
Floriana Sabina urged them. They then walked towards the capital city.
Before long, they reached the city gates. A guard stopped them and demanded a fee.
"How much?"
Floriana Sabina asked.
"A 4th Grade Mana Stone for each person."
The guard grinned at them.
"Here!"
Floriana Sabina threw a 7th-grade mana stone towards the guard.
"What is this?"
The guard didn't recognize it due to its rarity. He examined it in front of him closely.
"Wait, this is too pure!"
The guard exclaimed in shock. He looked around, but he didn't see Floriana Sabina's group anymore.
He could only scratch his head. How was he gonna explain this to his superiors?
Rant Valo walked in the lead while they were inside the city.
"This is the way."
Rant Valo said to them. He used his Spiritual Sense to find the house of the Duke. If you forgot, the Spiritual Sense is an inferior version of the Divine Sense that Floriana Sabina always uses.
Floriana Sabina and Veia didn't say much. They just followed him.
"This is a mansion?"
Rant Valo looked at the huge castle-like structure in front of them. He almost thought that he led them the wrong way when he realized that this was what he saw in his Spiritual Sense.
"Let's go, Master! I'm excited."
Veia didn't care about the details. She pulled Rant Valo's arm towards the entrance of the 'mansion'.
"Alright. Stop pulling me, Veia."
Rant Valo said to her. Even though he said that he still allowed her to pull him.
A guard stood on the side of the gate.
"Hello, this is a letter from the king."
Veia passed the letter the king gave them before they left. It contains instructions and an introduction to Rant Valo's group.
"T-The king!?"
The guard took the letter in alarm. He then rushed inside carrying the letter. Another guard took his place and watched over Rant Valo's group.

A Prose of Years
For decades, spiritualist Evert Kallstrom and his team have joined in humanity’s millennia-long fight against the beasts. Wielding their weapons and their ki, they fought and killed these great threats to civilization. And yet, despite their efforts, humanity was losing traction in the war. In the last fifty years alone, more cities had been overrun than in all of known history. While most thought the great beasts natural, a few knew the terrible truth. They were the product of a dark lord, who desired neither fame nor wealth nor power. Instead, his sole purpose was the genocide of humanity. While their peers dithered, a small faction of the strongest mankind had to offer—including Evert Kallstrom and his team—set out towards the Deadlands to find and confront this dark lord. After weeks of travel, twenty-one spiritualists found themselves approaching an ancient fortress wherein rested a being known only as the Eastern Guardian. All they found was death. But death has other plans for Evert. Evert bolts awake in his 16 year old body near his hometown, decades in the past. He is confused, poor and weak. But with grit, sweat, and years of experience, he won't let the future repeat itself. That level of strength won't be enough by itself (it wasn’t last time) and victory is hardly assured (he’ll need to reach farther and higher than he ever did), but Evert refuses to squander a second chance. [Other tags: First Person POV, Hard Magic, Faulty Memory] Volume 1 is complete and has been fully released. My current intention is not to write any sequel volumes. That said, I have also released appendices (SPOILERS) that cover the worldbuilding and future story-that-never-was. Comments suggesting fixes for grammar, misspellings, etc. appreciated. Note: If you came here from Candlelit Lives, these stories have nothing in common.

A tale of folk fairytales and myths, of swords and sorcery and mythical beings – a unique story of dark times and unsung heroes who may light your way. Book one, A Strange Bunch, features leading characters of various ages. This is a fantasy with their progression happening slowly throughout the series, with occasional spikes in character power after certain encounters that may or may not be random. Although the book series is written with adult and young adult audiences in mind, it is, in the tradition of such epics as “The Lord of the Rings,” suitable for all ages. Excerpt from the scene depicted on the cover of the first book: “Above this hellish pack and the rider at the forefront, flurried a ghastly sight – a cloud of dark, endlessly bustling bodies and wings, a swarm of creatures that, through their almost infinite number, produced that great din which had first reached the ears…” RELEASE SCHEDULE is about once a week. The entire series should take around two and a half years of weekly chapter episodes, so do encourage me by reacting and following. Ratings are greatly appreciated!
