Outside the Duke of Cresta's mansion, a large group of people had gathered.

"Thank you for letting us stay for a month."

Rant Valo thanked Duke Brandi and Janella Cresa who were standing in front of them.

"Don't worry about it. I feel assured knowing that you are the one my daughter chose."

Duke Brandi replied with a satisfied smile on his face.

"Thank you for trusting me."

Rant Valo bowed respectfully.

"You better make me a lot of strong and healthy grandchildren. Hohohoho."

Duke Brandi laughed as he said to him.

"Y-Yeah…"

Rant Valo nodded his head awkwardly. These in-laws of his really like to say such things.

"Father, Mother… I'll come back after I kill that vampire."

Veia went over and held Duke Brandi and Janella Cresa's hands.

"Mm! Mm! That's my baby girl!"

Duke Brandi nodded his head in satisfaction at Veia's words.

"Then, we'll go now!"

Rant Valo said to them.

"Alright. See you guys soon!"

Duke Brandi waved his hands in farewell. Rant Valo, Veia, and Floriana Sabina rode the boat and flew to the skies.

"Master Floriana, are we going there?"

Rant Valo asked her. He found out something from his clone a while ago

"Yes, Disciple. I want to participate."

Floriana Sabina nodded her head and said to him.

"Alright."

Rant Valo nodded his head in response. Several hours later, Rant Valo's group was back inside the Heavenly Pill City.

The city had a different atmosphere this time. Everyone had solemn expressions on their faces. They all walked around carrying various weapons. Guards can be seen everywhere. Everyone seems to be tense.

"It's really happening."

Rant Valo murmured as he looked around them.

"Let's go to the Pill Association."

Floriana Sabina held both of their hands and took them with her. They flew fast and quickly arrived in front of it. Many people were coming in and out of the building. It was unlike before where only a few walk in and out in a second. Today, the flow of people was like a river. It was neverending.

"There are so many people."

Rant Valo commented as they walked inside. They then headed towards the stairs and headed up.

After a long walk upstairs, they finally arrived back inside Xian Bao's office.

"So, are you guys gonna help us?"

Xian Bao sat in front of them while they all sat together on a single long couch.

"Yes."

Floriana Sabina nodded her head.

"Why?"

Xian Bao stared at her and asked.

"Because I think it's still my duty."

Floriana Sabina replied.

"Sigh. Alright then."

Xian Bao nodded his head.

"I'll explain everything from the start."

Xian Bao then proceeded to explain to them what has happened.

It started a few months ago in the south of the continent. Demons from the other continent docked on the shore and took a large part of the south as their territory.

No one thought much about it until it was too late. There were also such things happening in the north that had been kept hidden. Then news of it happening in the east spread too.

And now, the forces of the demons were heading for the center of the continent. It was war. The demons have declared war. They want to take the whole Lilith Continent.

"Why are they attacking at this time?"

Rant Valo asked with furrowed eyebrows. There shouldn't be a reason for them to attack the whole Lilith Continent which is the continent they are currently on.

"It's because of the new Demon King. There are 11 of them and the new addition made them 12. The new Demon King managed to convince and rally the whole Demon Continent to attack the Human Continents and their first target is the Lilith Continent."

Xian Bao explained to them.

"That… can't the Saints and Saintesses attack them in their homebase?"

Rant Valo asked him. It should be the easiest out of this situation.

"The problem is that no Saint of Saintess is willing to take on this risk."

Xian Bao replied to Rant Valo.

"That… Then, are you joining Master Floriana?"

Rant Valo turned his head to Floriana Sabina.

"Of course I'm, Disciple. Didn't you hear what I said earlier?"

Floriana Sabina looked at Rant Valo like she was looking at an idiot.

"But this is a war, Master Floriana. It wouldn't be that simple."

Rant Valo said to her.

"Don't worry, Disciple. This is nothing for me. Besides you're with me."

Floriana Sabina said to Rant Valo in assurance.

"Huh? Does that mean that we're going to the Demon Continent?"

Rant Valo looked at her blankly.

"Yep. Doesn't it sound exciting?"

Floriana Sabina nodded her head and said to him.

"That's crazy! There will be demons there who would be hostile with us."

Rant Valo said to her.

"That's nothing to be worried about. We'll just disguise ourselves as demons."

Floriana Sabina said to Rant Valo.

"Huh? How?"

Rant Valo looked at her blankly.

"With this."

Floriana Sabina showed a pill to Rant Valo.

"Wait, isn't this what Master Xian Bao was concocting this past month?"

Rant Valo looked at the red pill in her hand in surprise. He could still remember seeing it being concocted by Xian Bao through his clone.

"Yes. This pill can give you a demon's features for a whole month."

Floriana Sabina explained to Rant Valo.

"A month? How many do we have?"

Rant Valo asked her. A month isn't that too long. If it runs out midway, then they would be chased by the demons out of the Demon Continent.

"We only have 3."

This time, it was Xian Bao who answered.

"T-Three?"

Rant Valo looked at him in disbelief. This would mean that if the three of them went together, then they would have to spend one month sabotaging the enemy. But what if it took longer? What would they do?

"Don't worry, Disciple. We have an extra one. Did you already forget that Veia is a demon?"

Floriana Sabina said to Rant Valo with a smirk. They wouldn't need three but only two for both of them. Then the last one would be a spare.
