Seeing a young man and women approaching the bank with little girls in tow a man called out to them form the gate

"You two hurry inside before the monsters spot you!"

He tried to hush his tone but he was loud nonetheless

Still, the two of them didn't speed up and leisurely walked to the gate

"We will leave them here and go"

YuJu spoke to Ellis as they approached

"Cant we at least check if this place is suitable for them to stay? Maybe there isn't any food or water?"

Ellis argued, and he gave her a sidelong glance, he seemed to think for a second before nodding

Thus the two of them walked into the building with the girls

"Thank god you two made it, it's really crazy out there"

The man spoke to them while shaking a bit, his sentiment shared by the many occupants of the building

"Go inside, We will explain what is going on in a minute"

The two nodded and followed the man inside, after a minutes walk they arrived at the reception hall where most of the people were sitting

"I assume you guys know about levels already?"

YuJu didn't answer but Ellis noded motioning for the man to continue

"Good then I can directly move onto the main subject, you see aside from levels there is actually something called classes, and those are obtained when you excel at something, like swordsmanship and guns and the like"

Ellis again nodded her head inclining she knew which surprised the man and some of the people nearby, they didn't expect she knew as only a few people seemed to have gotten a class

"Can I assume you have gotten a class then"

He said so gazing at the sword in her hand, everyone here had something to fight with but that didn't mean they had it's class so when they first got in he didn't pay the sword much attention

Ellis was about to tell him she didn't when they heard an elegant voice from behind the man

"Another swordsman class holder? Quite the surprise, I am really glad you're here, we could really use a hand"

Ellis looked behind and saw a middle-aged man dressed in a business suit, he was elegantly walking toward them with a nice smile, his hair was nicely cut while his entire demeanour looked to be that of a successful businessman

"Allow me to introduce myself I am Harry Clause, Pleased to meet you, miss?"

Ellis looked at Harry's outstretched hand before looking to the side at YuJu but he wasn't even looking at them, still, when she looked back at Harry's hand she got the feeling that it would be good to shake it

"Ellis"

She just answered with a polite tone, but Harry didn't miss her side glance at YuJu and frowned, taking back his outstretched hand awkwardly

"Is this your friend? I'm sure you two went through a lot to get here with those little girls"

Harry said as he turned speaking to YuJu but he saw him not pay him any attention making him frown

"Well, why don't we talk inside, I will tell you about the team w had formed"

Ellis again looked at YuJu for an answer but saw him still ignoring them so she agreed

The group walked into the interior of the bank where they saw many gold bars and wads of cash being transported outside to make space inside the vault, it seemed they were throwing away all these stuff that had now lost their usefulness

After going up the stairs the group finally arrived at a big office

"In here miss"

Harry motioned for Ellis to get in before following here, but before he went through the door he gave the man standing by the side a smirk, seeing it the man smirked as well before moving to block the door

"Hey kid sorry to tell you this bu- Haa?..Where'd he go ?"

Harry heard the mans questioning tone and looked back but didn't see YuJu at the door, he was about to turn and ask Ellis about her friend when he suddenly saw YuJu leaning beside the standing Ellis, giving him quite the startle

Harry narrowed his eyes and tried to think hard but he definitely didn't see him go inside before them, he was about to make the guy standing at the door tell the him that this office was only for class holders use but he missed his chance

'No matter, I will separate them later'

He thought, after all, he could tell YuJu wasn't the cooperative type just by looking at his attitude, plus he somehow ticked him off with his uncaring attitude

"Why don't you sit down"

"We're fine, can you tell us about this place?"

Ellis replied, causing Harry's smile to twitch for a second

"The people here are the members of the team we had made, everyone here is a class holder that had excelled at something"

Harry motioned for the five people sitting in the office, they seemed to be talking before the two came judging by the still-steaming coffee on the tables

"I am John, Gunner Class"

Said a man with a guards uniform who seemed to be in his forties

"Clark, also Gunner Class"

"Sofia, Marksmen Class"

"Mia, Theif Class"

"Zachary, Fighter Class"

Everyone introduced themselves followed by their Class, Ellis nodded at their introduction but YuJu merely glanced at Sofia without anyone noticing before looking bored again

"And you must be a swordsman right?"

Harry said but he didn't wait for Ellis to clear up the confusion that she wasn't

"I am inviting you to join our team to seek out refuges and protect this building, we have to clear out the area of these monsters and we have to work as a team to survive, I know you may think it's dangerous but don't worry everyone here already has experience fighting those monsters and we are already level three, only Mia is still at level two"

Ellis seemed intrigued by their grand plans, she even started to think of ways to convince YuJu to stay, but when Harry said their level she couldn't help but be stunned

Seeing her stunned look Harry smiled to himself, plan succeeded she must be amazed by our levelling speed, he thought

"Umm, is there enough water and food in this place for everyone?"

Ellis awkwardly shifted the conversation toward the reason they came here, after hearing about their levels her thoughts about convincing YuJu were blown away, there was no way he would listen to her and stay with people with such low levels, heck even the hound Anput had higher levels than them...well higher than her too now that she thought about it

"Water and food?.... Yes we have plenty actually we have stockpiled enough for everyone to eat for the next two days so you don't have to worry about it"

He answered, he didn't understand her to worry about food and water when the houses around here were littered with them for now but he chose to assure her anyway

Hearing him Ellis turned to YuJu who was finely looking at her, and she could tell what he meant by his glance thus she turned to Harry and explained

"That's good, we just wanted to make sure the girls were taking care of before going, thank you for your hospitality"

Harry was stunned at Ellis's words, he didn't understand why she would leave on her own but then sent a glance toward YuJu

'Must be his fault, I knew I shouldn't have let him inside the office'

Still, he had to find a way to keep her here, the more Class holders the better, and she was quite pretty as well

"But I think you wouldn't be able to hold out on your own out there alone, would you please reconsider?"

"I'm sorry, we must get going now, thank you for your offer anyway"

With that she headed toward the door resolutely, the man standing there had to move away to allow her out, but he suddenly blocked the door

"Little punk y....?"

The man's hushed tone was once again abruptly stopped as he glanced around confusedly, this time not only him, Harry and the rest were also confused after all YuJu was following Ellis just a second ago but the next moment they saw him in front of her outside leading the way

Sofia and Zachary narrowed their eyes at this while the rest blinked in confusion, only Harry was seething with anger

'That brat! I won't let him get away with my new class holder!'

He raged in his heart as his smile disappeared watching the two walk out the building, then he turned to his team

"Listen, everyone, I have a good idea about whats going on with those two"

He informs his team members about his "Assumptions"

Outside the bank Ellis and YuJu were already out of the bank's sight, that's when Anput jumped out a building to join them, after all, it would cause quite the scene if others saw a beast and YuJu wanted to just drop the girls and go, all this extra talk wasn't part of the plan

"Are you sure we cant stay?"

Ellis asked with uncertainty in her voice as even she didn't feel safe with those low levelled teams, but that's the more reason to stay, for the others safety

"Having second thoughts?"

YuJu asked with a deadpan tone, this made Ellis look down in silence and following without another word

Fifteen minutes later Ellis found herself wondering where their destination would be, and she couldn't help but ask

"Where are we heading? Didn't you say the whole world was like this? So wouldn't it be the same where ever we go?"

The more she thought about it the more affirmed she was about her belief, they shouldn't leave this place

"A place with fewer humans, meaningless extreme danger, plus you should just follow, leave planing to me"

Again her thoughts were shot down, his words were sensible, still, she couldn't help but wonder where they were going, noticing that YuJu explained a bit

"For the next day and a half we will be travelling without rest out of the city and into the countryside, there we will take one day of rest before moving out again"

"Day and a half?! But its already been eight hours, won't we be travelling for almost two days straight then!"

"About right, don't worry, there are monsters that have stimulants in them, you can use that to keep awake if you feel tired, and I'm sure we will a few blood rats and heal you up if you get too many injuries"

"But why? Can't we take it at a slow pace?"

YuJu looked back at her with narrowed eyes

"We either travel fast or stay put, you wouldn't want to be at the city borders by the time the beasts start forming a horde there"

His words sent a shiver down her spine, she was already having a hard time dealing with packs but a horde was already in the making? She suddenly picked up her pace and started running faster with the two

"Meyaaaaw" "Meew!"

Suddenly the voice of hoarse cats could be heard, and steps were heard from an alley before five cats burst out, when they saw the two humans they suddenly seemed very angry before running toward them with ferocity

"Finely making a move huh? Well about time, I don't like dragging things out"

YuJu's figure suddenly darted toward the opposit alley leaving Ellis alone

"Hold on and focus on getting as many kills as you can"

His words travelled before disappearing from view

"What?"

Ellis looked back but saw no one, even Anput wasn't there, no in fact she hadn't seen Anput for a while, has she?

Sadly she didn't have time to ponder as the cats jumped at her, sharp teeth ready to take a bite
