Master Of Myths Chapter 93

His own Orelic moved back while swinging its club wildly at the attackers, only when it was close but not too close did the hound howl to the sky, tapping into all the sand reserves her crown had to offer in order to cause waves upon waves that slowed their enemies approach
The Orelic moved closer to its master, still giving him his back, and sat on the ground, it looked ready to receive his blessing but also interrupt it if need be and face its kind once they got too close for comfort
YuJu closed his eyes took a deep breath in, then exhaled very slowly letting all his tension melt away as his mind focused on the task at hand
"Let's begin"
He lifted his broken hand using the other and placed it on his new addition's stone back, then used his functioning hand to grip the wall
"This is so crude I'm not sure it will turn out great but, well, I've got no choice"
He felt sorry for this to be his new member's welcoming gift but it was for the best, thus he started the crazy method he came up with by using two skills at once
His left functioning hand was the first to light up with a dark hue, it sank into the stone wall with ease causing ripple like waves to go through the solid wall making it look like water instead, then, as if it was a whirlpool, the rocks around his hand started to spin and swallow the surrounding crystals, minerals and stone alike
His right hand followed quickly after by lighting up with a green light that seeped out of his broken fingers and into the giant stone being
"Urgh!!"
It wasn't even five seconds before YuJu opened his eyes abruptly, his face twisted in pain while both of irises started to change, his right iris rotated counterclockwise as countless red streaks flashed within them while his left one was also spinning but looked more like a sinkhole that led to his pupil
"Master, are you alright?"
He couldn't afford to answer Ellis's stupid question and clenched his teeth hard, trying to endure the severe nausea, the pain he could cope with but the disorienting feelings he got from using both skills at once in such an extreme way was too much even for his mature mind to handle, if he could describe it in a layman's words it would feel like spinning half your brain vertically as the other half spun horizontally all while your body was rolling around in every direction possible

Veins started to pop up on his forehead and his face turned green, right now he couldn't spare a single thought towards anything but the usage of the two skills, this made him unaware of the changes happening to the battle
The four remaining Orelic were slowly but surely making their way through the waves of sand, they threw rocks every now and then only to hit the big changing build of their comrade turned enemy, unable to harm any of the other behind it
"They are getting too close Master!"
Ellis turned to inform YuJu but saw a steeled expression that didn't seem to hear a word she said
"Anput can you increase the sand?"
She asked the hound but all she received was a few whimpers from the struggling pitiful comrade of hers, this was already well beyond what she could handle and it has been over a 'few' seconds already
"Dammit"
She had to try and be a distraction it seemed, even though it would end up being extremely futile to do so
"Haaaah!"
She rode the sand using one of the drifting thrown rocks to reach the nearest Orelic, climbing onto the persistent rock as she wielded a hammer, striking at the fellow with whatever power she could manifest
Bangggggg
A ringing sensation was brought by the impact rupturing her palms and causing no small recoil that almost made her fall off into the sand
The Orelic which she hit stopped its movement, turning to her with its blank face, it was only for a moment though as the unharmed being then started to walk forward while trying to swat the little annoying bug away just as its ex-companion once did to the other small creature, man what a bug infestation it was for these rock giants today
As she ran across the uneven rocky body while dodging one attack after the other her mind spun with ideas of any possible solution for this horrible predicament
'My weapons can't pierce through them or smash them, even if they did it wouldn't matter since I can only hit so much of this huge body, and my poison and aura isn't affecting them at all, it's like I'm an egg smashing into a rock'

Her eyes darted around in hopes of finding anything useful to aid her but there was nothing, nothing at all
'Just how does Master always find a solution fo his problems, why can't I do the same'
Instead of further thinking of a solution her mind headed toward pondering on the problem more
"Wu wuu!"
Suddenly Anput's voice came alerting her of something so she turned and saw the hound clear a path in the sand for her to come back
"WHy?"
"Wu!"
"Whos going to stall them then?"
"Wuuu Wu!!"
Communication wasn't an option but Ellis knew what she was doing was useless anyway, might as well see what the hound was up to even though it probably wouldn't resolve the situation, so the tiny running figure jumped off and used the open path to return to the group
"What now?"
Ellis questioned only to be ignored by the focused hound who stopped sending waves after waves of sand toward the enemies, giving them the opportunity to quickly close the distance between them
"What are you doing?? If you don't stall them then Mas- "AWOOO!"
The loud howl interrupted her berating words as sand dribbled from above making her look to the ceiling, there she spotted Anput's plan falling towards the approaching enemies
Rumble Rumble~
One after the other small and big chunks of rocks alike started to lodge off the ceiling, forced off by the sand seeping into its widening cracks, before crashing down on the slow to respond Orelic
"....."
Ellis stared at the sight in utter silence, not shocked by the brilliant idea but by how she could find not a clue on how to escape this calamity yet Anput ever so easily found a quick way to slow them down enough… or at least it seemed so but even after the extra time brought by the hound's smart actions the living lumps of rock finally made it to them before their master was done with whatever he was doing
"Huuu huuu huu"
With not an ounce of energy Anput tried to lift her head for another howl only to fall to the ground limply as the four enemies grabbed at her, Ellis was already running toward her companion to take her away from the approaching four clutches
Whoo-BAM! Crack crack!
The wind parted overhead all of a sudden as a booming sound rang through the cavern followed by the crumbling of rocks, stunning Ellis for the umpteenth time today
Still, she didn't slow her approach as even if their own big lump of rock entered the fray it might not be able to prevent all four from attacking the defenceless hound, she did however turn back to look at the result of the sudden crash
"What, the hell…."
Smashed through and through the remains of the once living Orelic were crumbling to the ground, it's three companions who she thought would still be a problem were each held by a giant arm, one with clear identifiable fingers, all belonging to the four-armed mountain that overshadowed the already large enemies
"Crush them"
Crack!!!
All three heads exploded at the same time, but the bodies still moved in an attempt to fight back only to be smashed effortlessly by the much stronger Orelic bringing the intense chase to a very anticlimactic end
The overwhelming victory brought no smile to the bloody and battered YuJu, not even a smirk, only signs of minor relief and great exhaustion showed on his pale face
"Good, now I need a…."
Before he could even finish the sentence his eyes rolled back and his body fell to the ground electing a worried shout from Ellis just before his consciousness slipped away

Emperor NPC
The Demon Emperor had taken one billion lives and conquered the realms of elves, dwarfs, and giants. When the final realm of man fell to his armies, the stage was set for their world’s finale. A spire of brilliant light pierced the sky, and as the land was torn asunder, the demon emperor met his death. It was not by the hands of a hero, or goddess’ champion, but by a system developer—a creator of the VRMMO Ark World—masquerading as a god! “It’s ironic that it would be you,” said a voice in the black void of the quantum system. “Strange, that you’ve given me this quest, and stranger that I can’t do it without you.” By the power of the thirteenth system developer, the “goddess” Amarytha, the demon emperor was reborn in a new video game where his character never came to be. In the Ark World Sandbox, humans rule as gods over nations of NPCs. Through mastery of their administration commands, they hold absolute control. Only the demon emperor, liberated by the Player System, can challenge them. A crusade begins with one step. Freedom from humanity begins here! ---------------- I'm going to be upfront here. This is not an anti-hero story. So, if you've come for anti-hero you might not enjoy it. The cover art I commissioned from my friend @cyborgraptor. You can find her on twitter, or tumblr. Absolutely awesome person, and way too humble. She's also a great dps on WoW, and her and I always fought for top of the meters. I update every day, or nearly every day. I'll be updating this quickly as I bring it to parity with my other sites. Afterwards, expect 6 or 7 chapters a week. This is my only job and I approach it professionally.
