Master Of Myths Chapter 101

"Master, are you okay?"
Approached Ellis, her eyes glancing at the poison coming out of his hand
"I'm not too sure yet, nevermind that though, tell me how many tickets you have now"
She took a moment to open her system and check the number
"Five hundred and forty-three, most of which were gained from that white tiger"
She reported while glancing at the dead body of her short-lived nemesis
"Hmm, I have seven hundred and twenty myself which puts us at a total of one thousand two hundred and sixty-two, that's a lot of tickets lost due to many not having the time to fill their quota before getting killed"
That could become a problem but there was nothing he could do to fix it a the time, it bore a huge risk to let them farm it and then destroy the other gates after all
"What are these tickets for Master?"
Her curiosity peaked right about now, all this killing just for some tickets must mean there is something really valuable to be gained
"See that building over there?"
He pointed her to the castle-like building
"That thing is a vault, one that houses all the treasure in this Aurascape, the tickets that we got allow one to get a random treasure relating to his aura from it"
"? That's it?"
"Yes, of course the treasures are not normal, most of them are really helpful and some can even boost your strength by a very large margin, there are even a selective few that could easily make you borderline unstoppable in our lands"
Ths news made her more happy than shocked, she knew just how lacking her strength was so if she could get an item that helped her power skyrocket then she could finally make a difference
The happiness didn't last long though as she realized what this thing resembled
"Master, isn't this akin to a gacha machine? Were basically gambling for treasures…"
Even if they had over a thousand tickets they might not get the supreme items they wanted

"I don't gamble"
A short confident answer, but knowing him this meant he got a plan in mind
"You go roll ten tickets a time, I'll deal with this problem in the meantime"
"Can I not roll them all at once?"
"You wish, the system only allows ten at a time, now get to it we need to finish this as fast as possible"
"Yes Master"
She faced the gate and started using her rockets promoting the doors to open revealing a shining purple colour as ten objects flew out landing next to her, only when the entire cinematic event ended and the doors closed was she able to use another set of tickets
'That's going to take her some time'
Thinking so he diverted his attention to the never-ending supply of poison
'How much of it is there exactly'
He wondered as his senses sank into the spatial feather to find the source of this weird phenomenon
'Just as I thought it's still full'
The storage was filled to the brim, not an ounce of room remained inside but that was expected, it wouldn't be pouring out if it wasn't overflowing
'Something must be generating all this poison, I'll have to scour the place for that thing'
He spread his senses across the space in a bid to find the troublesome object which in all honesty he'd no clue of what it could be, after all he didn't remember anything special in his storge, most of it was loot he inspected and collected after all
Searching for something inside the storage wasn't hard, it was like letting your mind drift as it recalled memories until it found the one it sought, but searching for an object inside another was an entirely different concept
'I can't find it like this'
It proved to be a daunting task even for him
'I need to empty the liquid first'
Whatever it was that generated the poison was actually consistently making an amount that overflowed the feather but not enough to make it explode, a very peculiar matter since it made it look like its related to the spatial feather somehow

Shoving those thoughts aside for the moment, he took out a spatial knife from the other storage where he thankfully kept all of his equipment and made a cut just under the poison pouring feather
'Steady…'
Inserting his energy into it he activated the spatial feature during that cut which caused the opening of the feather to widen making room for more poison to pour, this extra amount didn't actually exit on its own though since the feather would only throw out the overflow but it was quickly guided into exiting under his command
The process looked like it was going to take a bit of time, thankfully he had an entertaining colourful show to watch while he was at it
Splitting his focus a little to view the items coming out the gate he found many unrecognisable objects being revealed as glow faded from the orbs that dropped them
'It's going to take hell to sort these things out and figure their use'
The light coming from the gate was already white and not purple, there weren't that many items belonging to Dignity aura inside the almost empty treasury so it would quickly transition to other auras, only if you had an aura closely related to the item's origin would you be capable of telling its use otherwise it would be up to you and luck to figure what it was
'It wasn't meant for someone to hog all these tickets anyway'
Sure there was the ability to steal tickets from other's by killing them but he'd never heard of anyone having a thousand tickets to themselves, then again he'd not heard much about these events anyway
'There are also usually around fifty participants so it couldn't be possible anyway, only because this was the last activation were so many participants allowed entry, plus it allowed me to cause spatial crashes with how weak the structure was'
He'd spent a ton of time studying and planning to do this part, granted things turned out to be easier to do when he got his hands on so many Trove Crows allowing him to craft the knives, otherwise he would have had to do it the preplanned way which was quite impossible now that his hands were maimed….
'So many variables got in the way, still I made it'
All was well if he could get his hands on what he needed
...
It was around fifteen minutes later that Ellis finished her entire collection of tickets, by the end she even had to do them one at a time since she didn't have ten
Around the same time YuJu was also done emptying all the poison out, if it wasn't for the opening he made only being the size of a feather he wouldn't have spent so much time on it
'Let's see the perpetrator of all this'
Sinking his sense into the spatial feather he looked inside and found but a single object floating in the otherwise empty space
'????'
It was green like the poison it poured, its body lay unharmed by all the liquid surrounding it, it was….
'The crow?'
The Trove Crow which he fed the heart and blood pearl to, from the body of this dead creature poison continued to pour out in excess amounts
Before the space got clogged up again he took out the body and let it drop to the pool of poison filling the ground next to him, whatever was going on with this body could wait till a later date, much more valuable treasures awaited him now
Walking next to the gate he gave all the scattered items a once over before turning to the gate once more
'None of them are what I need, I'll sort them out after a get that thing first'
Ignoring the loot he began his own rolling spree

Celestial [A Progression Fantasy LitRPG]
Warning!Profanity, unconventional relationships, drug use, descriptive gore and intimacy. Celestial is a slow-paced and action-packed progression fantasy with elements from the LitRPG genre. The story focuses on the protagonist’s personal growth, violence, sex, exploration and adventure. Follow Zelaria as she embarks on her journey of exploration and adventure, seeking ever greater heights of power. With an affinity for the elusive and mysterious Arcane and a preference for the thrill of close combat she nonetheless chooses to walk the path of a mage. A mage may still use weapons but a warrior rarely casts spells as far as she knows. It’s a logical path for her even if others may call it insanity. What do they know? Most people who choose to specialize in wielding mana tend to pick a mage class aligned with their element. Why become a standard mage, average at everything, when you can use your affinity for fire to become a fire mage and cause destruction with ease? The only problem for Zelaria is that no one seems to know how to get a mage class aligned with the arcane. Approaching 17 years of age she’s still at level 0 while her peers have long left her behind, their classes selected at the age of 15 when they became available. Luck is on her side though as she manages to snag employment as a hauler with a party heading on an expedition to a dungeon abandoned centuries ago. They’re looking for riches and danger while she’s still looking for an answer, one she finds at their destination even if not in the way she expected. Nothing is going to stop her from enjoying all that the world has to offer, not the wish of her parents or even her death. I'll be aiming to upload 5 chapters in bulk every week.
