As A Cardinal, I Don't Do Overtime Chapter 157

San Lorenzo, in the Orthodox Church.
After sending Jerome off, Monn stared at Asher quietly.
He said, "I'll send you back today."
Monn's tone was very serious.
His attitude was firm.
But Asher shook her head violently.
She looked like she was determined to stay.
It was not easy to come out, and there was no danger.
Of course, she had to play as much as she wanted first.
Besides, the people here were good, and the food was delicious.
Of course, she was reluctant to go back.
Ace stared at her, which made her hair stand on end.
But it meant that her cooking was good, so Ace forgave her generously.
Asher considered, but decided that this place was too fun and that didn't want to go back now.
Seeing this, Monn sighed.
Ugh!
Heidi, on the other hand, looked at him suspiciously.
What was going on?
It was really unpleasant to see him having an affair!
She couldn't stand it anymore and asked directly, "Monn, who is this girl? Why is she here?"
Heidi's small face stiffened as she pointed at Asher with a displeased expression.
Asher was stunned and pointed at herself in a daze.
She wondered if this woman was talking about her.
"Yes! You!"
Heidi didn't give her the slightest room to answer.
After hearing Heidi's question, Monn didn't answer. Instead, he asked, "Why are you still here?"
Upon hearing Monn's question, Heidi was stunned.
Why are you still here?
This sentence was like an abyss.
It kept echoing in Heidi's mind.
This person seemed to have lost his soul.
I've been standing here for half a day, and you didn't notice?
You even thought I was gone?
This...
Heidi then lost her temper.
The person she liked didn't seem to care about her at all!
Like a marionette, Heidi drooped her shoulders.

She found a dark corner,
And drew circles on the ground silently.
Her mouth was mumbling something.
There was an air of decadence around her.
But Monn still ignored her and continued to think about Asher.
Ace couldn't bear to see Heidi like this, but she didn't know how to comfort her.
After all, Heidi was very hostile to her just now.
Asher couldn't understand why they were so hostile to each other even though they had just met.
Asher really didn't understand.
Then, she realized that Ace looked at her the same way when they had just met.
Asher instantly understood.
So they were also people who liked Pope Munn!
After thinking it through, Asher looked at Monn with a complicated expression.
Pope Monn was really a man who attracted bees and butterflies!
She couldn't be like these two women.
Her mother had said, "Don't be friends with a playboy.".
Pope Monn had so many girls who liked him, so he must've been a playboy.
Asher thought about it.
Then, Ace looked at Heidi, who was covered in black smoke, and gloated.
At the same time, she puffed out her chest, thinking that she was going to win.
After all, Heidi had not spent much time with Monn.
Instead, she was the one who lived with Monn every day and cooked for him.
Maybe when Monn got used to her, he wouldn't be able to live without her anymore!
Ace had already made a plan in her mind, which was why she was so meticulous with Monn.
She was waiting for the day when Monn wouldn't be able to live without her.
Come on!
She cheered herself on in her heart.
Ace continued to look at Heidi as if she has won.
At this moment, Monn, who had a headache, couldn't do anything.
He could only inform the elves to come and pick up Asher.

He wouldn't be able to afford to take care of her anymore.
He didn't know when the elves would send someone over, so he had to take care of her a little while longer.
She still had to bring a letter to the elves.
After all, even if he notified the elves that there was an elf girl in the Orthodox Church,
They would not trust the humans without a token.
After all, to the elves, humans were very cunning creatures.
He could not make the elves trust him.
Thinking of this, Monn looked at Asher.
Asher looked and immediately said, "I will not go back now!"
Monn was speechless.
He hadn't even said anything yet and she rejected him so bluntly?
After a moment of silence, Monn said, "Don't worry, I won't ask you to go back now."
Monn told her vaguely.
In any case, he just needed to calm Asher down first before asking her to write a letter to tell them that he was safe.
When Asher heard Monn's words, her eyes were somewhat suspicious.
This Pope Monn was clearly eager for her to go back earlier. How could he change his mind so quickly?
Asher didn't believe it!
She really couldn't understand why Pope Monn wanted her to go back so much.
She didn't cause them any trouble, right?
If Monn could hear what Asher was thinking, he would be speechless.
He would even say, "Young lady, you're thinking too much!
It's just that your appetite is too huge and expensive to fulfill!"
The elf girl did not have the slightest bit of self-awareness,
She puffed up her cheeks and stared at Monn with her emerald-like eyes.
She stared straight at Monn.
Monn did not have the slightest reaction to her expression.
He continued to say to Asher, "You can stay here, but you have to write a peace letter to your people, okay? They must be so anxious."
Hearing what Monn said, Asher was stunned.
Yes, Pope Munn was right.
If she went missing, her mother would probably turn the entire Elf Forest upside down.
If she still couldn't find her, she would probably go to war with the goblins and the human race!
Thinking of this, Asher's face turned pale.
In order to prevent this from happening, Asher hurriedly said, "Of course, I'll write a letter to my people right now!"
As soon as she finished speaking, Monn's passed her materials.
There was a piece of paper and a quill pen on top of it.
It seemed that Monn had planned for this for a long time.
However, Asher's urgent mood made her not care about these details.
She took the paper and pen, found a table, and started writing rapidly.
Monn looked at it and found that he couldn't understand what she was writing.
Only then did he realize that Asher wrote elvish.
Of course, Monn wasn't the slightest bit curious.
He just felt that this language seemed somewhat similar to the runes on his Elendil Sword.
But Monn didn't think too much about it.
The main goal now was to send this elf girl back to the Elf Forest as soon as possible.
After Asher finished writing, she let out a sigh of relief.
After the ink was dry, she realized that she didn't know how to send it over.
At this moment, Monn's hand reached out.
He took the letter in her hand.
Then, he said,
"I'll get someone to send it over for you."
Then, he quickly walked out.

"I'm Screwed" ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This story uses the system derived by Puddles4263 in Randidly Ghosthound. I've incorporates the Path's system into the leveling of this story. Some of the beginning paths will be similar or the same as I thought that the starting paths were very logical on how a system should start. The stories will be completely different as the characters and story arcs will be completely different. Again, thank you Puddles for allowing me to use your system, really appreciate it! I also wanted to thank ProFound Magician. Has a lot of insight into a story development and as his system is based on Ghosthound, I saw a some beginning stage skills that should be thought of in a character just starting out. If you haven't yet read Ghosthound or Genesis System you're in for a real treat when you do! Thank you both I hope my use is seen as an homage in the beginning. Hopefully my story can live up to the system.

Supreme Formation Immortal Sovereign
Falling under the Heavenly Tribulation, Ascending Celestial Oalur Kang finds that he's back in the past. Watch him pursue the Heavenly Path of Formations and rise to the peak of the Immortal Path! . . . . . . . . . Hello, this is F-Rank! This is my take on writing cultivation stories. Though I'm sure nobody cares, the intent behind this story was focused on creating a more or less logical cultivation system. I read several stories where the mc transmigrated to a cultivation world (not calling names to avoid unnecessary angst) and was able to completely break the cultivation system and the logic of the world because they had the power of science on their side and were able to think more logically than everybody else. Despite the fact that some characters in those stories were older than the scientific method of thinking and even the human civilization as we know it and the whole society was older than our human race. So I decided to write a story where things about cultivation make sense (as far as a magical world full of super magical people can make sense), so here we are. I don't know if I will be able to fulfil this purpose but I hope that the story will end up enjoyable. Can also be considered a prequel for my other story "Wasn’t my new life in a magical world supposed to be easy?" but has very little overlapping content and can be read as a stand alone story. Also available on Scribble Hub.
