How To Raise Your Regressor Chapter 130

"Prepare yourself to be blown away. Metaphorically, of course."
Would be a yikes if his main customer base died a tragic death by being blown away.
As the audience grit their teeth and gripped their armrests, waiting for his next move, the man… took off his cape.
He dropped the long cape to the ground, revealing behind it a man wearing a yellow shirt and jet-black jeans.
"…" Noelle sharply inhaled as her eyes widened.
She couldn't miss that stark yellow shirt or that pair of jeans. They were a bit larger than how she remembered then, and so was the man who was wearing them.
But she, of all people, knew what that man was capable of. Altering his body and the size of his clothes wouldn't be too much of a hassle to him.
Needless to say, the man on the stage was actually a boy.
And the boy was the new R&D Head of the New Dawn Guild; Samur.
Samur, as if he had noticed Noelle's reaction, squinted his eyes in pleasure.
"…" Arteria's reaction was pretty much the same as Noelle.
'Goddamnit. What are you up to now, you brat?' She wondered, hoping that whatever it was, it won't be anything dangerous.
Vafferan simply raised her eyes in amusement. She had been told that Samur was very capable. Perhaps this was finally her chance to witness it with her own eyes.
Neia, on the other hand, simply confirmed that the one on the stage was indeed Samur. Well, his sass had been confirmation enough, but still.
The rest, by the way, looked on in wonder, speculating what this man was up to now.
Relishing in their reactions, Samur raised his right hand and unbuttoned his cuff.
He did the same to his other arm, then proceeded to the buttons lining up the front.
"Ah, if you're wondering why I'm stripping, it's simply because I do not want my favourite shirt to get dirty. Believe me when I say that I'm not trying to show off the muscles I worked so hard on," he dropped his shirt as she said so, revealing behind it a set of well-built, toned muscles.

As it turned out, Samur didn't need to abuse steroids to get a nice, sexy body; all he needed was some magic.
His perfect six pack abs glistened in the spotlight, eliciting a whistle from some of them.
Samur noted who these people were and put them in his list of sex offenders.
"Now, watch closely," Samur stepped forward to give a better view to those present.
Not of the abs, obviously, but of what was about to come.
Samur snapped his fingers once again and a blade made of ice appeared in the air beside him.
"As you can see, this is a sword conjured through magic, made with the sole purpose to kill," he sliced his finger along its edge, then showed the blood that was oozing from the cut.
Then Samur stretched out his left arm and snapped again.
He actually didn't need to snap to use all those magic spells. He was doing it for the audience.
From the beginning, he had planted the idea in their minds that whenever he snapped, something would happen.
This way, he could build their anticipation; their brains would hear his snap and subconsciously look forward to what he would do.
Anyway, after he snapped, the sword started spinning horizontally, turning into a revolving blade like that of a saw.
Then he snapped again. The blade moved and within the blink of an eye, sliced Samur's arm off.
As the now ownerless arm fell to the stage with a thud and blood spurted out of his shoulder, the audience gasped in amazement and horror.
Meanwhile, Azell quickly grabbed the hand of his companion and shook his head, silently pleading with her to stay still.
Noelle stared back at him with a hurt and betrayed gaze. Even in her wildest dreams she had not imagined that Azell would be in on this.
She was wrong, obviously, because Azell was never let in on Samur's epic prank, but now was not the time to correct her.

Azell glanced at Jennifer, but thankfully, with an amused grin on her face, she was too engrossed with what was happening on the stage to notice their little exchange.
Samur let some more blood flow out of his shoulder to solidify the notion that his arm had indeed been sliced off.
When he was satisfied, he took out a small bottle full of clear liquid from his Inventory.
"Oh?" Jennifer's grin got wider.
Without giving them any time to marvel at his space manipulation magic, Samur uncapped the bottle with his teeth and gulped the potion down.
Within the blink of an eye, the stream of blood coming out his shoulders stopped.
The muscles around his shoulder wriggled. The next moment, a grotesque mass of what seemed to be countless strands of meat jutted out from his shoulder.
The mass of meat squirmed and twisted with sploshy sounds until it formed the shape of an arm.
Then the makeshift arm glowed a bit and finally, turned into a new, proper arm.
"Yup, as good as new," Samur twisted his hand a bit to test it.
Needless to say, the results were spectacular.
So spectacular, in fact, that the jaws of everyone in the hall had dropped to the ground and were digging to go even further.
None of them had expected that. Not even Jennifer, who thought she'd stay unfazed no matter what was presented.
Even Noelle forgot all her rage and concern and looked at Samur in stupefaction. She couldn't believe her eyes.
Arteria pinched the bridge of her nose; she simply could not decide how to react. In fact, she couldn't even determine what was more outrageous; that Samur had a motherfucking Elixir or that he chose to show its effects by clipping off his own arm.
Though in hindsight, how was he supposed to prove that the potion in his hand was really the legendary divine potion?
Anyway, regardless of their varying reactions, the same single question danced around in the minds of all of those present; did they just see an Elixir?
Samur, of course, was less than pleased with these results.
He wanted lots of clapping and standing ovations, not a bunch of sweaty wankers quietly staring at him.
'Are they not impressed?' He wondered.
He pointed to his left arm, then to the empty bottle lying on the ground, but even that failed to elicit any reaction.
"Um, hello?" He waved his hands only to get the same results.
Actually, the attendees were still processing what they had just seen.
Almost all of them knew about the Elixir in one way or the other, but none of them had ever seen it in person.
They were still in awe of its staggering effects and were wondering what Samur's intentions were behind his act of cutting off his arm and healing it with the Elixir.
'Do these fuckers want more? Alright, then.'
Samur obviously misunderstood them.
He wanted to avoid using this if possible, but these people had left him no choice.
And so, he spread out his arms as if he was a magician about to show his greatest magic trick and snapped with both his hands.
The snaps successfully got a reaction out of everyone present as they came out of their trance and focused back on Samur.
And they almost fell out of their seats the moment they saw the tens of ice swords floating around him.
'Let's see if this will impress you, you pieces of shit.'

Fortuna Verto
A girl’s luck changes when her world changes upon itself, sending her back and forth between a world she knows and another that shouldn’t even exist. Working with her parallel self from that other world, the two must adjust to their alternate form when visiting the other’s world, as they search for a way to escape the chains of misfortune they are bound to. While this story is the conclusion of the trilogy, it is also fully capable of standing alone in its own light, as the world of Celese itself is no longer a place the characters will be journeying through. However, the events of the story are a spoiler for all previous books, in case that matters to anyone. This book has an additional chapter after the final chapter that represents the trilogy conclusion, and should not be read until all three books are read first. Fortuna Verto continues the events of Essentia Animus to advance society into a sci-fi interpretation of Celese, bringing events to a distant world of another star. At the same time, events interpret a real-world advancement into a similar sci-fi age of another planet that shares Earth’s galaxy, a planet that has also been linked by the Celesi Veil. English remains predominant in both worlds of the story, but the presence of both sides makes certain Aethyx terms stand out, while Earth-styled scientific terms will also stand in a powerful contrast. Instrumentation remains an important aspect of the Elemental Era, but the influence of the gift has grown distant after discovering the superiority of the elements. Harnessing the elements had eliminated some of the original limitations of instrumentation, allowing for a self-sustaining focal source that provides solutions to problems such as automation. This turns the development available from the previous modern-day sense of a fantasy to one that is deep-future. Finally, opening access to the passage across the veil will open this progress in comparison to a very similar deep-future parallel world without such fantasy elements, contrasting the laws of physics with the laws of elements in a convergence of time and space.
