"Darryl stop it. What are you doing? Let her go" Collet intervened, asking Darryl to free the girl. Hoping he could stop him before things will turn into a serious mess.

Everyone was looking at them and was confused what was going on and Collet thought if she cannot control the situation right now it would turn out to be a total disaster for her. ​​

People might still assume that she was Darryl's lover, but everyone will label her as a lover who doesn't have any sort of influence upon his man. That's a bummer for an A class socialite like her.

Xhemin thought of calling Collet's attention because she was hoping the CGC heir can make Darryl stop but she was wrong. She was her lover after all right? However, Collet's intervention turned to be a hopeless case, Darryl didn't even spare Collet a glance.

"Ouchie!" Xhemin shouted another cry. "What have I done Mister Lagdameo? Why are you bullying me? Please don't hurt me just because I kissed you at the dining hall"

Xhemin slipped out those words so that people will have a hint that she was the girl who kissed Darryl few days ago.

"…I am really sorry for that. It was a kiss of goodbye. I had been admiring you for long but I thought it was time to let go so I bid you farewell with a kiss…" She explained dramatically as if hurt."...now I am just here to enjoy myself. Please do not hurt me"

"So she was the girl who kissed Darryl days ago in front of Collet? I thought she was a commoner but how did she get here? We have passes right? This party is exclusive only for the elites"

"Oh God don't tell me the rumours are wrong. She wasn't a commoner but an elite! Probably the reason why Miss Collet was very upset, the girl is pretty and she has a status!"

"She's not elite I'm sure. God knows what she had done to get a passes. I'm thinking she is a gold digger who wanted some attention and to attract one, she made her move to the Lagdameo heir and now to the Auclair's only son"

"I think so too. Probably the reason why Darryl is mad. Leonardo is in his circle and he must have some concern for the guy—he don't want him to be the target of that desperate bitch"

"But does he need to hurt her? I thought the Lagdameo heir was a respectable man, he should just send her away"

"I agree. But who knows, as what they say, L Empire is ruthless so their heir must be as ruthless as they were"

Darryl's face was a mess right now. Xhemin was making some sort of excuses in front of the crowd to escape from him. She was making it appear that Darryl was trying to get even with her for the kiss she took away from him. She was trying all the sorts of things, to distract him and perhaps get away with Leo.

"If you think you can stop me by that drama of yours, well milad—"

"Ouch! Please it hurts!" Xhemin screeched and pushed herself intentionally so she will fall from the bar stool that she was sitting.

Darryl was flabbergasted with Xhemin's random acting. He already knew how good an actress she was and she was totally killing it tonight, making it appear that it was him who pushed her. He was the only person beside her and whether her falling into the floor was intentional or an accident, all eyes still dug into the Lagdameo heir condemning him for being a total jerk. Yes, Xhemin managed to make him appear as a total jerk in front of everyone.

"… I already said I'm sorry, why can you be so unforgiving?" Xhemin barked at him trying to pick herself up from the floor. Leonardo came to her aid and helped her stand on her feet again.

"Darryl this is too much!" Leonardo confronted him. Although the boy saw that Darryl had really nothing to do with the Xhemin's fall, he still condemned him and supported Xhemin's claim that he really pushed her. And everyone believed Leonardo's claim because he was the only person standing near the both of them.

"Leonardo baby help me. I'm very afraid" Xhemin clung to Leonardo's arms and hid her face in his chest, looking like a vulnerable chick that needed his protection. "Please let's go away. Let's leave this place now"

The view of Xhemin in another person's arms—Leonardo Auclair's arms to be exact made Darryl gnashed his teeth. He was completely infuriated with what was happening and to Xhemin. Does his woman have to go long this way just to get rid of him tonight? Was this her way of getting even of the things he had done previously or some sort of punishment? Well if it is then it was very completely effective, it was getting into his nerves and bones.

Knowing that the situation was out of control already Darryl was determined to grab the girl and walked away.

"Darryl you need to stop now or I'll call some security" Leonardo threatened him. Since everybody was watching he might as well go head on with the Lagdameo heir, especially that the girl was making Darryl a bad beast in everyone's eyes. Who knows he might turn into the famous knight and shining armour tonight that had gone one on one with the Lagdameo heir. Besides, he really wanted the girl so might as well fight for her.

"Don't dare Leonardo Auclair" Darryl threatened him back, in a more striking tone. "You won't like the end of it"

Darryl reached over for Xhemin to grab her again but unexpectedly, Collet shoved his hand away. The CGC faced Darryl head on and in a low voice she said "Let the girl go with Leonardo or I'll tell everyone that she is the Lagdameo woman…"

Collet's words captured Darryl's attention.

"…And take in consideration that were are not in the camp as of this moment. So everyone had their gadgets with them and easily get a picture of her. So if you don't want her face flashing around the news headlines tomorrow, let Leo take her away…" Collet pulled out her ace card and courageously challenged Darryl.

She can't go home being a total loser always. If Darryl will successfully get the girl from Leonardo's arms then everyone will think Darryl had fallen to that commoner and she'll have another rival in the form of a random fan. Also, they will look down and pity her for being so helpless when his supposed to be lover was grabbing another woman in front of her face.

She can't have that.

She can't let Darryl neither the girl shame her tonight or she'll drowned in humiliation.

"Come with me" Collet extended her hand to him "let's get back to our seats"

Darryl didn't move and it took another call from Collet before he retreated back with her and their friends.

Xhemin saw how Collet was able to make Darryl calm down and her heart ached a bit. Not knowing that the CGC had blackmailed Darryl, she though that Collet was really something to Darryl. She already thought earlier that the CGC heir had no influence or impact in whatsoever to the Lagdameo heir but it turned out she was wrong—it only take one whisper from her and the beast turned into human again.

"Let's leave" Xhemin asked Leo, her voice was like begging for it. "Let's leave right now. I can't anymore stay here" She added, her eyes following Collet and Darryl retreating back to their seats together.

Some of the tears that she was faking earlier were becoming real this time and she brushed them away before Leo will notice them.

"Okay, as I said it's your call" He simply sighed knowing the commotion had ended and everyone's prying nose was back to their own business. "Are you okay? That was one heck of a drama. I thought you like him and all of the sudden you were dying to get away from him"

"Perhaps I changed my mind" She answered with a dry smile "You are right after all. How can I like someone that was destined for another? I don't want to be the third party, they seemed to be a very perfect couple"

Her own words cut something right through her heart.
