It took Dannah the whole afternoon to narrate things between her and Ziggy. As expected, Darryl wasn't pleased with the fact she had subjected herself to such a dangerous venture. He had always warned her about Franco Lagdameo's dirty business but it seemed that Dannah didn't take all his words to her previously. Her sister even went as far as becoming one of their uncles agents and had willingly cooperated in some dirty underground business. However, even as to how much he would scold Dannah right then, everything was already in the past and it was obvious right then that Dannah already decided to step into the light, if not then she shouldn't have kicked her ass out helping him with L Empire. So Darryl didn't give her much of a torment. If there was one thing he was thankful about Dannah's past, it was the fact that she survived it all.

After their unplanned extended lunch, they both went back to L'Empire to finish the day. However when they arrived, they immediately caught a certain kind of atmosphere that wasn't there when they left. Both Dannah and Darryl caught everyone's tension when they entered the building and they noticed that everyone was in panic.

"President D," Darryl's secretary's face lit up when she saw him. She had been calling him for hours already yet the calls didn't go through. Darryl in reality turned his mobile off as him and Dannah had a heart to heart talk earlier and he certainly didn't want to be distrubed. Dannah did the same so the secretary wasn't able to contact either of them.

"What's happening?" Dannah asked right away as soon as the secretary gave her greetings.

"The news...it's all there," The secretary almost couldn't tell the whole ordeal as she was having hard time finding the correct and most careful words to use. Seeing that she was having a hard time, Dannah pulled her own mobile and looked through the net. The section on today's news got her full attention immediately and an annoyed shock registered in her face. Darryl, who was looking at the screen at Dannah's phone read it all in one go and his expression turned hard in an instant.

"Who did this?" Dannah uttered as she looked through it all. She meant to ask who leaked the information about the Lagdameo's health problems and why such a private matter had to become everyone's business. The more frustrating part of it was that everyone online didn't send L'Empire sympathy and wishes for recovery. They rather took the news to throw judgements on L Empire and considered such health challenges as a curse.

"This is bad President D," Dannah added. Right then her mind ran from how people were judging them to how their business partners and clients would judge and react to this news. Surely this will have a big impact on their business as having an heir means stability in business and knowing that there's no more to succeed Darryl, L'Empire's stability will surely be questioned.

Darryl acknowledged that they were in fact in serious mess this time. He was particularly careful of making sure L'Empire didn't get involved in any controversy now that they were rising to the top again but then it seemed that something slipped away from his watch. Like Dannah, he wondered who released such controversy.

"Dee look at this," Dannah called on him again when she saw another interesting topic that was posted on the news today. Next to LEmpire's controversy, there was another matter that everyone was feasting on. Darryl read through the headlines again and his eyebrows instantly curled upwards.

"It's a game well played," Dannah concluded after thinking things through. The headlines alone already gave them an idea who was behind the L'Empire's controversy. "Zhanglou probably didn't like the business rankings from last month,"

"What rank was the Montreals previously?" Darryl inquired as he certainly wasn't a fan of those rankings. All he ever cared about was his own competence and their product's quality so never once looked into those charts.

"One rank below us" Dannah told him. Prior to coming back, Montreal International Winery ranked second to LGC because the bankruptcy of the L'Empire and the Montarini Mining Inc paved the way to their success. However, ever since Darryl came back, L'Empire outshined them in a span of months. Right then, L Empire's former glory had been restored to almost seventy percent and they rank next to LGC in business rankings. Their recent success wasn't enough to compete with LGC on the top yet, but second place surely wasn't bad considering which rank they came from before the Lagdameo heir's comeback.

"Zhanglou surely didn't like that," Darryl stated. He was aware of every businessmen's temperament in this country so he was aware how Director Zhang unluckily wasn't given strengths when it comes for fair play and patience.

"And he was brilliant enough to use the youngest sire's children to his advantage," Dannah shook her head with disgust on how dirty Director Zhang's tricks were and at the same time felt sorry for the kids. Surely they haven't met their grandfather yet and the latter had already taken advantage of their existence. "I wonder how all these came to his knowledge,"

"The man is competent too, he surely had his ways," Darryl calmly said as he read the full article about the Montreal twins. He wondered by then if all the things about the twins mentioned in the article were all true since he doubted Ziggy had consented to an interview.

"These are all lies. They can't even tell their names," Dannah commented as she too dug into some news articles about the children. From the news, it seemed like Director Zhang loved and was close to the twins even though he had stripped their father of all his rights when the truth was, he hadn't met them yet. "What are we to do Dee?"

"Just let it be," Darryl replied. He too was anxious about what happened but he was able to hide his deep concern over the matter so that Dannah and the employees won't worry about it. "Sometimes, some things just needed to be ignored"

"But our clients and partners-"

"We'll get by," Darryl cut her worries off and immediately turned his back from Dannah and her secretary who was still not finished scrutinizing the news. Dannah could only sigh at it all and hoped for the best.
