Ziggy frowned at Willow's reaction and under his questioning gaze, Willow pouted her lips to Dannah's direction and did some sign language to him.
"Talk to her," She signed with her hands and mouth.
Ziggy just shook his head and fixed his eyes back on the road. He didn't give Willow the liberty to pester him further as he knew what she wanted. For whatever reasons, it seemed like her daughter was implying he needed to have more conversation with Dannah, but just like the weather, Ziggy's wasn't also in the mood for it.
Few turns and they reached the department store Dannah was referring to. Since it was raining hard, Ziggy tried to look for a place where he could drop her safe from the rainfall.
"Just drop me one that corner," Dannah suggested.
"Your umbrella might have probably been ruined by the wind earlier. If I drop you there you'll end up soaking wet again," Ziggy remarked unwilling to drop Dannah on the spot she requested.
"It's fine. That man in the corner is waiting for me," Dannah revealed and when Ziggy turned to look, there was indeed a man with a big umbrella waiting at the side. "His umbrella is enough for us both. I don't want to bother you any further,"
Ziggy didn't anymore reply and instead halted the car in front of the man Dannah was referring to. Dannah immediately went out of the car and the man outside, carefully assisted her, making sure she won't be subjected to the heavy rain.
"Thank you Little Miss, youngest sire," Dannah thanked them both and Ziggy only nodded without sparing her a glance. Willow however, pulled up a big smile and waved goodbye. Dannah then closed the door and as soon as she did, Ziggy turned his head to look at the two outside, very much interested on who the man with Dannah was.

"Dada, I thought you are not interested and yet here you are, stretching your neck like a giraffe to check Dannah and her friend outside," Willow's rolled an eye at him.
"I need to have a look because if something happens to the third miss, at least we know who's the last person she was with," Ziggy made an instant alibi but Willow didn't seemed convinced so he added further, "For sure President Dee will asked us and it's our obligation to give him a detailed description,"
"Whatever Dada," Willow dismissed and made a face, "Just start car already and drive or else both the third miss and his friend will wonder why we hadn't left yet,"
Ziggy immediately caught what Willow meant and so he started the engine and drove slowly away. As they were advancing, he saw the man carefully guided Dannah inside the department store taking a particular notice with the fact that the latter held onto Dannah's waist as they were walking. Ziggy's expression dimmed in an instant.
"Dada, you have nothing to be mad about it. It's your fault anyway," Willow uttered with a deep sigh as if she had enough of Ziggy's silent admiration for the third Miss. Although Willow wasn't aware of their past, it was obvious that their Dada was harbouring some hidden affection toward the Lagdameo's third miss and as much as she wanted to encourage it, she always felt like their dad always end up having cold feet whenever the third miss was around. Seeing how Ziggy slipped off the chance right then, Willow concluded that their Dada and Dannah was a hopeless case.
"What are you even talking about?" Ziggy acted as if things were good but Willow could see right through his act.

"Dada if you like a girl, tell her. That's how you do it," Willow gave him some advice as if Ziggy had no experience with girls where in fact he had many. "You should tell her at the earliest possible opportunity you could have or she'll be snatched right in front of your eyes, just like what happened few minutes ago,"
"Willow, have you been into romantic novels already? Aish! I told you're still so young to read all kinds of books!" Ziggy reprimanded her outright. To be honest, knowing that Willow knew so many things already at a very young age scares Ziggy at times, especially that she was very smart to figure out things on her own. He just hoped that Willow would be more occupied when she started attending Rivendell and her attention will be swayed from being too curious about their lives to being fascinated with all her soon to be academic discoveries.
"I am not," Willow answered and shut up right away. Their dad had always been instructing her not to read too much about adult stuff but then sometimes, her curiosity made her want to take a peek. And just what Ziggy thought off, she had read a few pages of teenagers' adventure books that made her guilty right then.
As her guilt struck further, Willow fell silent on their way home and Ziggy was very much relieved the girl stopped talking about what happened earlier. It wasn't the type of conversation he was ready to face, especially not with his daughter.

Dannah and Scar managed to reach home without inconvenience despite the harsh weather. They picked up some groceries at the department store where Ziggy dropped Dannah off, had their dinner at the same place and went home straight away after that.
The moment they reached the apartment, Dannah threw the bags of groceries on the counter and let go of a frustrated sighed.
"Relax Fins, it's just a child," Dannah had told him while they were picking up groceries how she struggled to get samples and information from Willow. It had been days when Dannah became overly obsessed again with things related to her brother affairs and Scar started to worry.
"God Scar! I'm trying not to lose my patience right here," Dannah confessed, her green eyes started firing up "If the Willow or her brother turned out to be my brother's child, I don't know what I can do. I might do the same things I did previously,"

A Girl and Her Food
When a lost girl wakes up without a name, she quickly finds herself alone in a way that people around her can’t fix. Without a real plan and desperate to find what’s wrong with her, she thrashes and bites to stay alive. But human beings are weak things, that band together for strength, no matter who we are. Now if only she could work up the courage to ask one question... It’s normal to get stronger when you drink the blood of monsters. Right? Things to expect: - A powerful but kinda neurotic and emotional protagonist, with some degree of weak to strong. Or maybe strong to stronger, honestly. She's pretty rational and practical about things but won't always make the best decisions, so be warned if you super-dislike characters doing dumb stuff for emotional reasons sometimes. - Lots of dialogue and characterization, especially as we get more into it. It's focused on a single POV, but there might be some sections of other POVs later on, I'm not sure right now. - Magic is on the softer side, but I'll try to keep things fleshed out enough to avoid any obvious "well-established magic could have seemingly instantly solved this problem" moments. - I didn't add the mystery tag because I feel like it implies that this is a detective novel or something, but the story is absolutely incredibly opaque at times. So you'll have the most fun if you go into it trying to puzzle out the nature of events before they're explicitly explained!😇 - Also, I added the genre for completion, but it's gonna take a while to get to the romance. Please wait warmly and have some tea. Participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge!

I struggled under him and shoved him off of me. All of the guys were howling with laughter as I got up and swiped all the dirt off me.
