Age Of Islands: I Can See Through All Things Chapter 24

Just as Alice was about to make her next move, Eugene's voice came from the door.
Jack motioned for Alice to leave.
But Alice twisted her eyebrows and licked Jack's lips with her tongue, then bit her lip and slowly moved away.
Jack secretly looked at Alice's expression and was instantly frightened by her resentful gaze.
He quickly found an excuse and ran out!
Damn, women were indeed tigers!
Despite not eating humans, they were far more terrifying.
If he stayed any longer, Jack was afraid that he would not be able to control himself!
Watching Jack rush out, Alice pouted, frowned, and stomped her feet angrily.
She really suspected that she was not charming enough!
Why was he always stuck at the critical moment?
However, Alice would not give up!
Alice raised a fist toward Jack's back.
On the other hand, after Jack pushed open the door and escaped, he took a deep breath of air mixed with the fishy smell of the sea and quickly calmed down.
Eugene, who was already used to it, only reported, "Mr. President, I've brought him here."
Jack nodded and said to the man next to Eugene: "What's your name?"
"President, my name is Cyril."
"Well, then, Cyril, how strong are you now?" Jack asked again.
"Mr. President, I'm currently an Intermediate Silver Swordsman."
Jack nodded and said, "Whose idea was it to divide the students into groups?"
Cyril faltered slightly upon hearing the president's question, unsure of what he meant.
Hence, he said carefully, "Mr. President, that was my own decision. If I'm wrong, I'm willing to be punished."
Jack did not express any emotion. He said indifferently, "Tell me, how did you come up with this idea?"
Sensing that the president's tone had relaxed, Cyril knew that it was not a bad thing. Thus, he put down his worries slightly and hurriedly said, "Mr. President, I was one of the Silver Swordsmen who were stationed to guard the slaves. At that time, after you separated the slaves into groups, the passion that erupted from the slaves exceeded my expectations, so I took the liberty to use the same method here."

Jack nodded slightly at Cyril's words.
This was a talented person!
There seemed to be seven or eight Silver Swordsmen stationed around the slaves.
But he was the only one who had learned the management style.
And from his words, he seemed to have seen through the emotions triggered by this method. This was incredible!
These methods were created through the effort of countless people from the previous world.
In the end, they were taken out of the military and used as a method for various companies to organize and train their employees.
The effect was surprisingly good!
Jack looked at Cyril with a meaningful expression, and said, "Cyril, you've done very well. How's the training of those newbies going?"
Upon hearing the president's praise, Cyril's face lit up with elation as he hurriedly replied, "Mr. President, the newbies have become extremely passionate because of this grouping method, as well as the various team titles that we've set up. There's no need for us to supervise them in their training; they've already completed the training under their own initiative, and even exceeded our expectations."
After listening, Jack nodded and said, "Cyril, you've done very well. I'm about to give you a more important mission. Are you confident in completing it?"
Cyril froze upon hearing this.
Many thoughts flashed through his mind.
Almost everyone who followed the President became a Gold Swordsman.
All of them held high positions!
This made the other Silver Swordsmen who came to this island with them envious.
To think that this opportunity would come to him!
Didn't that mean that in the future, he could also grow up to be a big shot, and act as President Jack's right-hand man?
Cyril could not help but become excited at the thought of this.
Wiping his nose, he hurriedly said, "Mr. President, please rest assured. I will definitely not fail to live up to your mission."

Jack nodded.
it was easy to make promises, but only the system would not lie.
Then, Jack opened the Inspection interface with a thought.
[Name: Cyril]
[Race: Human]
[Occupation: Swordsman]
[Level: Silver]
[Loyalty: 88]
[Note: When he saw that the people who came to the island with him were all Golden Swordsmen now, he could no longer bear to keep a low profile. He swore to achieve greatness under President Jack and become a Golden Swordsman himself.]
Seeing Cyril's loyalty, Jack nodded.
This was because the matter regarding the ceremonial guards was too important. If it leaked out, it might bring a fatal blow to the cargo ship.
So Jack took it very seriously.
It seemed like Cyril's loyalty was pretty good.
Then, Jack turned off his skill and said, "Cyril, I'm going to assign you the duty of being the captain of the ceremonial guards. You'll be responsible for training at least twenty members before the cargo ship departs."
"I will teach you how to train them."
Upon hearing his name, Cyril's face lit up with elation. He scratched his nose with a finger before hurriedly replying, "Don't worry, Mr. President. I won't let you down."
"Good." Jack was pleased with his attitude.
So he said again, "Continue to work hard. Your position is very important. In the future, the image of our country, New World, will be born under your hands!"
With that, Jack led Cyril to a secluded spot.
After the two of them stood still, Jack first showed him how to stand at attention.
There was no such knowledge in this world, so even though Cyril was a Silver Swordsman, he was still a complete mess.
Fortunately, Jack had received the attention of the school's instructor at that time. He almost tortured him throughout the entire military training period, so he even remembered these movements physically now.
"That's not right. When you stand upright, your legs and heels should be together."
"Don't move your fingers. Clench your fist and straighten your hands by the side of your pants."
"Don't shake your body, don't hunch your back, raise your head."
Cyril was starting to regret his decision!
It was really too difficult.
He could not handle so many instructions at once, and his body could not help but sway up and down.
Especially if he had to stand there for half an hour, that would really kill him!
After relaxing, he felt that his entire body was no longer his.
His feet hurt, his hands hurt, even his neck hurt.
However, after regaining his composure, Cyril discovered that something was amiss.
He felt that his temperament had changed and his body had become stronger.
As this was just the beginning, Cyril did not feel anything obvious.
Eugene's eyes lit up upon seeing this.

Those in this dungeon must kill monsters to survive; maybe even each other. Join Ely as he struggles to survive a ruthless environment. What replaces his rest is untold trauma. What seems like an innocent game trope turns into a nightmare. This is a story of tragedy and the path to ultimate power. All in the hopes of an uncertain survival. _________ This fiction has NOT been abandoned. I made a haughty promise earlier to not worry because I'll continue this series, and with things lately, I've only proved myself a liar. Further promises dwindled, and I've lost trust. So many things have been going on recently that I've been booked. I will refrain from making any future guarantees or promises as my busy schedule will stay with me for a long long while. Time for me to actually spend on writing and revising won't appear until at the least November 19. I won't say expect that's when I'll restart, but you can expect expecting it to maybe happen. That's really shallow. But with everything going on, I've let my small reading base down. I apologize. I still stick by my statement though that I won't abandon this project. I plan to stick it to the end, no matter the delay. Most importantly, thank you everyone; readers who both like and dislike my work. I appreciate your time spent on my dumb imagination. Stay toasty my readers in this winter season. Cheers. UPDATE: We're back on track. Thank you for your patience. Any future readers, heyo! Glad you're here. UPDATE 2: So far it's been 21 days since I last uploaded a chapter. The best thing done for any fiction, no matter how good it is, is that it continues, and I have a bad history with that. 1 fiction on hiatus and already more delays with less than 20 chapters in this fiction. I've been very preoccupied with adding more things to do in my life rather than actually committing to any particular thing. That applies primarily to this. I cannot abandon this, as busy as my future looks and will look as I get busier and busier. Someday, I hope, I will be able to sit down and just write. just. write. But for now, I ask for patience. I suppose I'm glad this fiction hasn't picked up so that I don't disappoint too many people if any really. But I need to commit and it's going to happen sometime and sometime soon. No more flowery words. I'll see you later. UPDATE 3: It's very evident I won't be able to pick up this story for a while. With AP Testing, competitions, and other things I am busier than ever. But I must complete this fiction. I have too. Until next time. UPDATE 4: It is now the summer. I owe everyone an apology. Chances are, nobody's around to see this, and that is okay. I only blame myself for this sort of brokenness of a fiction, not that it is actually that bad but I am just exaggerating it for dramatic effect. But what's not exaggerated is the severity of my broken promise. I apologize for my naive claims about finishing a novel that I couldn't finish and that I didn't have the discipline to finish. Nor the skills, really, I was and am still an immature writer. What is to place now? I want to make it clear I understand this is my fault. I will man up to this. And I will accept any criticism. I understand I messed up. Reading Stephen King's On Writing made it clear to me that I need to do two things:Read lots. And write lots.I have done neither. If I don't have the time to read often, how do I expect to write? I need to become more experienced. I need to become a serious writer. So if I want to dream of continuing, I need to at least fulfill both requirements. I enjoy writing. I haven't written seriously outside of school in a while. I planned to write this summer and finish this. I made a lot of promises that I didn't keep.So there's that. I won't enact any self-pity, or be foolishly obsessed. What I did was wrong, and I must deal with it. I let down readers. And I apologize.I hope I can find forgiveness. This is a writer's sin.I won't promise I'll finish this. I intend to finish this, at some point, because writing is fun and I want to write. But how things are don't reflect that. Maybe I'll finish this at some point. Maybe I won't. I won't be naive to make that promise.I thank everyone who has read this if this is the end. If not, and hopefully not, I thank everyone who is to read future chapters. I thank everyone who allowed me to live in the miniscule little dream of mine as I passed my days. I thank everyone who cares enough to read this. Until next time, peace everyone. Thank you. You are all great readers and great people. I wish everyone the best in whatever reading/writing endeavors follow you henceforth.
