Age Of Islands: I Can See Through All Things Chapter 27

After dealing with the barley seeds, Jack and Eugene went to the canyon with Snike's lead.
This shows the importance of Jack's system!
If not for the system notification, he would have missed out on many treasures.
Even if he did not miss it, he would still need to test it time and again to know its use.
The process was very troublesome and did not benefit development at all!
As he followed the Snike, Jack had a thought.
Although Snike was not a swordsman, as a hunter, he was very fast as he traveled through the forest.
Regiment Commander Enger was left behind long ago.
Soon, Jack arrived at his destination.
It was indeed a wonderful canyon.
Below the canyon was a stream. He could vaguely see some glowing fish swimming inside.
There was sand on both sides, and some shell-like things were walking aimlessly.
At the end of the sand, Jack saw some people.
It seemed like that was their destination.
There was some bright blood on the cliff in front of him, probably left behind by Eugene after killing a magical beast.
Snike stopped at the edge of the cliff and motioned for everyone to follow him down the steps.
The towering cliff was about five to six stories high.
It was obvious that Snike had put in a lot of effort to dig a path out here.
The crowd followed the Snike down slowly as the sound of the spring water became clearer.
The sound was like ringing in one's ears. It was not noisy, but instead, it sounded pleasant.
They walked slowly with Jack in the middle, and Eugene occasionally looking over his shoulder.
The cliff was bare, which made Jack speechless. According to some novels he had read, cliffs had the most fortuitous encounters.
For example, there might be an inheritance left behind by a peerless expert. There could also be an eagle waiting alone for its successor under the orders of its previous master. At the very least, there could be a bottomless hole containing magical animals. These animals would be accompanied by precious fruits that could help raise one's strength.

Clearly, that world's logic was not suitable for this place.
Jack shook his head.
Soon, they walked down the cliff and stepped on the soft sand.
Many crabs, frogs, and turtles sensed the commotion and quickly fled.
Without any hesitation, they followed the river to their destination.
When they arrived at their destination, the scene before their eyes made everyone feel incredulous.
In front of them was a small pool. It was located at the bottom of the cliff, as if something strange had happened which caused a huge hole to appear on a huge rock.
There was some clear water inside.
There were some strange plants growing at the edge of the water.
Among the plants were a few strange animals.
The group did not approach as they were afraid of alarming such animals and bringing about uncontrollable events.
Jack activated his Inspection skill on one of the animals.
[Name: Salt Pool Beach Sheep]
[Introduction: This is a magical animal. When you see it, you can't help but feel the wonders of nature. This is an animal that relies on seawater to survive. The meat is delicious, savory and fragrant. The texture is delicate, the flavor is odorless, and the fat is evenly distributed.]
[Note: Does not have much of a requirement for the living environment. The rate of reproduction is very fast. If you feed it with high-level stalks, there is a chance of mutation that can increase the rate of reproduction again.]
Jack's eyes lit up when he finished reading.
Good stuff!
This Salt Pool Beach Sheep was practically a treasure!
Especially the reproduction speed, as long as it is cultivated properly, it is likely to become the second meat supply of the New World Island!
Furthermore, it could be used as an outlet to earn foreign currency!
Thinking of this, Jack directly activated Conqueror's Haki and knocked out the Salt Pool Beach Sheep that was leisurely eating grass.

Because the animal was larger this time, Jack increased the pressure from his Conqueror's Haki.
The people around Jack were extremely unlucky.
Those with poor physiques fainted from the shock, while those with good physiques nearly fainted. Even the Gold Swordsman Eugene could not help but take a few steps forward.
The Salt Pool Beach Sheep in front of him was also knocked unconscious.
Its limbs stiffened as it fell to the ground, splashing water everywhere.
Everyone slowly walked up.
Eugene lifted the Salt Pool Beach Sheep and placed it down onto the dry ground.
Jack stepped forward to check.
It was indeed a sheep.
But the wool was very thick and smooth.
The surprising thing was that the thick wool did not tie up in knots!
This made Jack exclaim in disbelief.
He asked someone to tie up the sheep's limbs and then Jack went forward to check its living environment.
The aquatic plants here were very well grown, and they were fresh and tender.
This made Jack think it was something good too, so he turned on the Inspection skill.
In the end, he realized that they were just ordinary aquatic plants.
But to Jack's surprise, why were there so many aquatic plants in this place?
Moreover, they were growing extremely well. It was noon now, and the sun was shining brightly. Despite the heat, it seemed like water would come out if one pinched these plants.
It seemed like there was something wrong with the water!
Jack led the way into the water and slowly walked forward. He activated his Observation Haki and looked around.
The crowd did not know what the president wanted to do and could only follow behind him slowly, not daring to make a sound.
After about a dozen steps, Jack saw a pool of white stuff ahead.
He walked in and saw that all the white stuff had sunk into the water.
It was white and pure, and it was actually shimmering under the sunlight.
Jack instantly knew it was something good.
Hence, he waved his hands and signaled for the people behind him to stop.
Then, he slowly walked up. The water in this area was not deep, and it only reached the mid section of his calf.
Jack carefully bent down and gently held out the white substance underneath with both hands.
It was very delicate.
As Jack's hand lifted it, it seemed to show signs of melting.
Feeling the melting white substance, Jack had some guesses.
However, he did not make a judgment now, after he brought it out, Jack activated the Inspection skill.
[Name: Refined Salt]
[Introduction: This is the creation of nature. A certain wave of seawater reached this place and left behind this lump of seawater. After countless years of accumulation, it finally produced this refined salt!]
[Note: None]
It was refined salt?
Jack could not help but laugh.
This world also had salt.
Although he did not know what kind of salt the nobles ate, the commoners ate expensive and strange tasting coarse salt.
Perhaps it should not be called coarse salt, but black salt.
That's right, this kind of salt was casually processed and then crystallized to produce salt.
It tasted salty and bitter.
Jack really could not stand this strange smell, but he did not know the technique of purification, so he could only grit his teeth and adapt.
He did not expect that there would be so much salt here. This made Jack feel like he had been hit by a surprise!

And to ready him for a final choice. Luckily, Ty is not without friends. He soon meets Gentry, a wooden puppet his grandfather made for him years ago, walking and talking, ready to help Ty learn what he needs to return home in one piece. But that won't be easy when a cruel and abnormally tall skeleton dressed in mockery of Santa Claus and his suit hates Ty's guts. San wants nothing more than to best Ty and do what none of his kind has ever done before: defeat a child that has made "the choice." But Ty will stop at nothing to fight back against everything San's got in order to face his fears and grow up. Because, if he doesn't, he will end up a kid forever. Or, worse...never wake up again. This story is perfect for you if you are a fan of Coraline and Kingdom Hearts, both of those stories greatly inspired this one. I have recently added the Isekai tag after being unsure if it counts or not. I've decided it fits the description of what it is but not the current trends in the genre. If you go in with Coraline in mind I think you will have a better idea of the kind of Isekai this is. And I've also added the Slice of Life tag, that is only for the first five or six chapters though, then Ty enters the dream world and it pretty quickly becoms a progression fantasy, a mix of more traditional fairy tale like trappings alongside more anime action and acquisition of slowly increasing powers. With all that out of the way, please enjoy! Updates every Tuesday and Thursday! What time of day? It's a mystery! (For now)
